  1. God awful.

    They scratched up and broke several pieces of glass wear, scratched and chipped the corners of several pieces of furniture, and broke a tv of my grandparents. For the love of god don’t pick these movers they deserve to be run out of business. Unbelievable how badly full grown adults can mess up a move job- teenagers can do it.

  2. Great Move.

    Having a great Move with US Movers, Firstly I checked up the approximate Vale of my move on my moving reviews website. After that they gave me a approximate amount which I have to pay them. After sometime they called me and told that their team members will be at your house in just 20 minutes. And also they are very affordable. I would highly recommends them to everyone.

  3. Change in price, damaged and unmoved items.

    Stay away from this company!

    We started by getting an estimate for the move and setting up a time for everything to be picked up. The day of pickup, the movers they contracted said the estimate they were given by US Movers was way too low and they could not take everything.

    When it came time to get my stuff to my new house, the driver called and informed me that I would have an extra surcharge for shuttle service because the truck would not fit on my road. A US Mover representative looked at images of the road around my new house when I initiated the contract and assured me there was plenty of room for the truck. When I called them to dispute this, I ended up with an extra $848 charge for the shuttle in order to get my things back. It was when they started moving my things that I also noticed attention to detail, such as a box clearly marked as fragile being at the bottom of a stack of heavy boxes.

    Finally, the actual move ended up destroying my sofa. Despite the driver who delivered my goods himself writing that the couch is unusable due to structural damage, I am getting harassed by the insurance group for more documentation then I was given. Contacting the support staff for filing complaints is also completely useless. When I asked them to clarify one of the questions in their forms, I got back a standard email with no information relevant to my question. I asked again, and their second reply was literally my exact question except with spelling errors.

    Working with this company has completely turned me off the idea of hiring movers. After this experience, I will be moving my own goods in the future.

  4. Missing items and late.

    We heard this was a great company, however they were continuously hours late with zero communication (we had to call multiple times to get any time frames and they were still late for those given). We also are missing a piece of furniture and, conveniently, cannot get ahold of anyone as the customer service closed right as the movers were leaving. I’ve moved across the country multiple times and I’ve never had this much stress from a moving company.

  5. Stay Away Stay Away.

    Over 3000 dollars of losses.

    There insurance coverage is a prue bait and switch scam.

    I had over 2400 pounds of items damaged there is 60 cent per pound coverage there is 13 pictures that showed the damage items that was given to the company the day of delivery.

    They offered me 400 hundred dollars now after 4 months a waiting which equals to 690lbs of damages.

    Here are some of my items were a china cabinet, amoire, hand carved stone table legs,massage bed , 4 by 6 pictures.

    Most of these items are non fixable because they were dropped numerous times ar delivery .

    What an f--king mess don't hire them they will destroy everything.

  6. Unprofessional Company, Horrendous Service.

    This was an overall terrible company to work with. They showed up late the day of the move and had not been working an hour before they disappeared and said they needed to get lunch. When we said we were needing to get on the road to make sure we met our timeline to start a new job, they said they would be back later but they could just take inventory themselves and let us know about changes later. We declined this shady offer and did not get on the road till way past our estimated time. We hoped this would be the worst of it - it was not. Not only did they end up delivering days after what we said our desired move in date was, they called us 24 hours before the move and said an oversight led them to believe they would need an additional $500 before they could deliver because they could not bring a truck that size downtown. I was furious. Our address has been the same since day one but this was never mentioned. I argued against it and they said they would send a guy to oversee the parking availability and go from there. The guy arrived at 8PM WITH the truck and said they wouldn’t have to charge another $500 that night, but they would in the morning so he had to deliver it right then. We argued with the company and they assured us more help would come and it would be quick - both lies. This odd man proceeded to try to do it himself and the manager started sending our calls to voicemail. He dropped our Ethan Allen desk on its side and dropped boxes clearly marked FRAGILE wrong side up. We were missing a nightstand, everything was dirty, l the wooden furniture had scuff marks and broken chips, the boxes had holes in them, and to boot - he yelled at us and he shoved his phone at me when his manager called. I have never dealt with such a shady, unprofessional company in my life. We would have been better off A. Selling our things and using what we paid them as a down payment on new furniture B. Moving it ourselves or C. Hiring the random homeless people off the street to move it. I would never recommend this company to anyone for any reason.

  7. Great Experience and Customer Service.

    I don’t usually write reviews unless I am really impressed or really disappointed. In this case, I was extremely impressed.

    US Movers called the day before and the morning of the move and arrived on time. They did an excellent job packing the furniture. On arrival, they quickly unloaded everything and put things in their place. The Ikea bed had to be disassembled because of the tight staircase but it was done quickly and without complaint.

    Overall, we were extremely impressed with Dan and his partner and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    The price was fair and the quality was above my expectations.

  8. Movers are stealing stuffs.

    The overall service was pretty good from the beginning to the end. They did not miss the pick up time however they came to deliver earlier than we expected.

    I have my son drawer that cracked on the corner which I suspected it was dropped during the lifting. What really pissed me off, they were stealing a bunch of body lotions and facial wash. I have them in a plastic bin and the movers opened them up and taking about half of the bin. I remembered distinctly I have 7 Victoria secret lotion and it was 1 left, 8 of bath and body works lotion and only 2 left. They also stole my high end facial wash. I have lot of those stuff and of they were thinking that I do not notice some of them missing, they were wrong. And now I have to deal with the claims which I may not be getting the full amount that I have spent for my stuff back. I should've listened to my wife to switch to banker box instead of using plastic bin. I thought I could trust this mover, but I guess I was completely wrong.

  9. US Movers Inc Dallas.

    I was very satisfied with the effort of Jonathan Martinez and his crew in moving us on April 14, 2020. Jonathan and his crew went beyond what was expected to load truck to maximum extent possible to get all of our goods on in one load. Job well done.

  10. Moving experience.

    Damaged furniture and smashed boxes causing damage. Gave false info at time of packing/moving so now will not take responsibility and fix items.

    Would not recommend them!! Moved from Texas to Nebraska- damaged tv stand, bakers rack and lost my large box of picture- took me 2 weeks to get my furniture!! Poor communication!!

  12. If I could give zero stars I would.

    This moving company is unprofessional, misleading, and stressful. They showed up on the day we asked for to move the furniture. They doubled our rate to pickup additional boxes and spoke extremely rudely from the moment they entered the house. I will accept my part in having too much stuff, but my recommendation to anyone using this company - read the contract really carefully. Also, have flexibility in your schedule as they may not deliver on the day agreed to. We agreed to a weekend and they're now coming mid week which is stressful asking for time off at a new job.

    1) make sure boxes listed are correct and size of boxes is correct

    2) space of the apt should be listed correctly

    3) you must box EVERYTHING!

    4) make sure the amount of stairs is accurate

    5) make sure the delivery location can accept an 18 wheeler. If not, they charge you $$ to move your furniture to a shuttle.

    All in all, our quote is now tripled what we expected to pay. I should have went with two men in a truck.. they're a little pricey, but they answer the phone when you call and are professional.

  13. Bait and switch, damaged goods.

    US Movers arrived on day of move and stated amount was $2000 more than what was initially agreed. On delivery, nearly $2250 in damages occurred.

    On 5/29/19 I received a quote for our move from Cross Country Moving Group for $9528.55. On the day of our move (6/29/19) the subcontractor (US Movers Inc) stated the cost would be $13,500. Since we needed to be out that day we agreed, and paid the bill. On delivery 10 days later they charged us an additional "shuttle charge" of $2000. On delivery it was apparent the boxes had been loaded and unloaded several times, as most of the boxes (purchased moving boxes) had been crushed. Glass shelves and other items the movers themselves packed had been shattered. Pictures of all of the items were taken as unboxed by myself and by the moving company, and totaled over $2200 in damages. On submitting a claim through Movingclaims.net the company agreed to pay $67.30 toward damages.

  14. Never Use!!

    Awful. Showed up with wrong truck so they had to get a different truck and charged $385.00 for truck. My 2018 $32,000.00 Harley Davidson was on the truck. I was told that they couldn’t deliver is so it was dropped in a Walmart parking lot. Not a joke. When I got there to get it the brand new battery was dead. I had to go into the store to get jumper cables to get it going. When opening boxes we found meany broken items. We had to pay before they unloaded anything. They are still unloading so we will update. DO NOT USE!!

  15. Still waiting..

    I requested on October 3rd a delivery date of Saturday October 12th. It’s now Tuesday October 15th and I haven’t heard a thing from anyone in dispatch about when my belongings will arrive. No one is answering my emails, and trying to get someone to answer a phone call much less answer a question is extremely difficult. Such poor customer service when I have paid in full, $4700, and asked 9 days in advance for delivery. I do not recommend this moving company.
