1. This company totally misrepresented.

   These are scam artists , the completely misrepresented the moving experience. They said they had employees, in fact they brokered the move. 3 days late, price doubled when they finally got here.

2. Nightmare left stranded on the day of my move.

   I booked a move and my agent bill Duncan assured me I would have my movers come Monday between 9 and 11 am. Come Monday no movers I have called the sales agents Sierra and Nicole over 20 times all three people have refused to connect me to a manager. Now I am stranded. Maybe I can get a call from the supervisor ? A lot of stress loss of money and no delivery.

3. These guys are so cooperative.

   When they came for they didn’t ask us to uninstall stuff by ourselves they did by themselves. From GA to CT they did each and everything by themselves with honesty. They didn’t stole or break anything. Their management was good and very honest with us from the beginning. Good work guys!

4. Team of professionals.

   The best mover's company around. All the workers are professional and they wrap all my luggage and stuff in a proper thick packaging to ensure safety of my belongings. Nice managing skills. Thank you for the help. Really appreciated and highly recommended.

5. They will help you till your move is completed!

   They worked fast, carefully and efficiently. The drivers and every member of the team were professional and polite. The transition comprised two steep escalators with solid walls which allowed our heavy furniture up and down without any trouble. This took less time than I thought it was initially. Great work! I want to use it again the next time.

6. I would recommend!

   Roger, Chloe and Peter I have to say thank you very much for your time in helping pack all my stuff! You guys were great, timely and professional and would recommend you to anyone I know.

7. I will recruit them.

   I want to send some of my documents along with some house items and furniture pieces to my parents’ house before my move to another city. I booked these movers for both of my needs. They did a marvelous job both time. My personal documents were delivered with care to my parents with all my belongings. I am happy I booked them highly recommended.

8. Looking forward to use them again in need.

   I highly recommend Alliance Moving & Storage. My wife and I had a very good experience with them shipping household goods from FL to our retirement home in IL. The owner was accessible via phone and text and email. It was so easy to confirm the appointment. The movers were on time, kind, and efficient. We are very happy to recommend them to our friends out there.

9. They made the move very smooth and easy.

   My niece needed a mover to help her moved out of her home to her first big girl apartment in the city, she called around and gotten quotes from different places and asked for my opinion before selecting a mover. I recommended Alliance Moving & Storage to her. It was the best experience with the move.

10. Waiting and Waiting and Waiting.

    Alliance Moving and Storage LLC were great in the beginning. They show you their awesome reviews on the DOT website and how bad the reviews are of other companies. What they are not showing you is that they have 0 trucks in their fleet, meaning the work is going to be subcontracted out to the lowest bidder, even if that company has been reported as a scam dozens of times across the internet.
    
    First incident that happened was they subcontracted us out to State to State logistics (check these guys out, they are a laughable company at best and thieves at worst). These guys showed up late (7pm..)and didn't label anything of my stuff on the inventory sheet. They had me so busy signing paperwork, by the time I was done signing, they had loaded half of the boxes I had packed. Of course they uncharged me for "space" which I already knew was coming, I've moved plenty of times in the past and expected this, its kind of the norm. My stuff was picked up on 22 July was given a first delivery date of 27 July. I asked the subcontractor how long the stuff would take and was told 10-14 days.
    
    Fast forward two weeks and its now the 3rd of August and I'm wondering when I will get a phone call. So to be proactive, I gave Alliance a call as they are the company I hired. I was told they could not get in touch with dispatch and they would call me back.. I never got a call back. Two days later I call, same thing. Another week goes by and now its been more then three weeks since my goods have been packed up. I give them a call again and its still "I can't get in touch with dispatch". I replied with "Ok, I'm going to get in touch with the police because I feel like my stuff has been stolen". Within 20 seconds I get a phone call back saying that they had gotten in touch with trucking company and that they will contact me to setup a delivery date.. Needless to say, this never happened. Days later I called back and was told that I would get a delivery on August 20 or 21. Its now August 21 and I've never received a call. When I called them to see if my stuff would be delivered, I was given the personal phone number to someone at State to State who got that we had his number. He informed us that our stuff would be delivered in 2-3 days and gave us another cellphone number of the "driver". The phone number of the driver is not answering.
    
    I'm sure, like everyone else who gave bad reviews, that I will be blamed for the failure of this company. I'm also not sure when, if ever, I'll get my stuff back.

11. Reasonably priced!

    Frank and Carl helped me out and they were absolutely amazing. Made the stressful move so much easier on me. They are very careful and detailed with everything you need them to move, but they also work so efficient and fast. Alliance Moving & Storage are my favorite movers of all time now.

12. Do Not Hire Alliance Moving And Storage or Packrite Movers!!

    My husband and I hired a moving broker (Alliance Moving and Storage), who in turn, hired PackRite Movers to handle our long-distance move. We were quoted a price based on the cubic footage of our items (~1200 cu. ft.) and were told to expect a minor increase based on our actual items. We were also instructed to deposit 1/3 of the total cost before services are rendered, which amounted to $1229.80. On moving day, PackRite Movers arrived with a 26-foot moving truck, which we later learned can only have a maximum capacity of 1700 cubic feet (per the Penske website). The Forman counted our items and estimated 1400 cubic feet before loading. This seemed reasonable, so we allowed him to proceed. When he was finished loading, he told us that it was 1800 cubic feet (despite the moving truck being 2/3 full), and he charged us additional packing materials, which were supposed to be free of charge (with some exception noted in Alliance Moving and Storage's contract). The Forman on delivery even admitted that there was an additional 300 cubic feet of another person's belongings in the truck, but he would not allow me to take photographs. My husband didn't know any better (I was not present at the time), and since we were at risk of losing our large deposit, and we absolutely had to move that weekend, we had no choice but to sign the contract. We were assured that we could submit a claim to their customer service department to rectify the issue. On delivery, we paid the additional $1932 in cash as we were directed, and I submitted a detailed claim by PDF and by mail to PackRite Mover's customer service department. I provided photographs of the moving van, its licence plate, and our items to ensure proof that we were overcharged. I also provided a full copy of the contract. PackRite Movers has dismissed my claim on the grounds that I signed the contract on moving day. I feel this is an unacceptable response.
    
    Not mentioned in my claim were the three pieces of broken particle board furniture, which have survived four full moves when I pack them myself. They are not part of my claim because PackRite Movers forces you to sign a contract that waives them of any responsibility if these items are broken.
    
    Even if I do not receive a refund, it is my hope that this business is made to stop taking advantage of customers. I did not hire this company, and I would never hire this company based on customer reviews. (The Better Business Bureau even gives them an F-rating.) I was forced to use them because of the moving broker, Alliance Moving and Storage. It is my hope that Alliance Moving and Storage is made aware of these actions and that they think twice before hiring PackRite Movers again.
    
    To anyone considering a moving broker: Don't hire one. They do not communicate effectively with the movers (we had numerous issues not mentioned here), and they put all responsibility on the movers. I work with contractors and subcontractors daily, and this type of service is unheard of. The contractor always takes responsibility for the subcontractor's actions, because they are the ones that hired them. Alliance Moving and Storage selected the cheapest mover, despite them having an F-rating and 1-star customer reviews everywhere.
    
    I repeat, DO NOT HIRE PACKRITE MOVERS OR ALLIANCE MOVING AND STORAGE. You will be scammed, and be warned: https://www.alliancemoving.co/ is not the same company as http://www.alliancemoving.com/. This is not an error; it is a deliberate attempt to make you think they have a 5-star rating when they do not!! Despite making a complaint to the BBB, I will likely not get any money back.

13. These guys were at the top of the pack.

    Alliance Moving & Storage recently helped me relocate my company and my home. The team was pleasant, professional, and pleasure to work with. Their positive attitude was refreshing even when squeezing my baby grand piano through a tight doorway.

14. The Deposit Was The Broker Fee - 40% of The Quote.

    This is a broker company, Frank Jackson took my call, asked me for a room by room inventory, gave a quote and asked for a 40% deposit which I paid with credit card + a 5% fee, 30% would be paid at pick up and 30% at delivery, I was told all could be paid by card.
    
    Moving company came the following day, they asked to be paid for 1/2 of the move to start packing, red flag!! but I had not option I needed to leave my rental so I issued a check. They said the other half should be paid at delivery.
    
    Fast forward, I hear from the moving company that my remaining balance is half of the quote, my DEPOSIT IS THE BROKER FEE, I call Alliance customer service I got treated very poorly, I contacted Frank Jackson to get clarification on my quote (which I have in an e-mail) I hear less than crickets.
    
    In short I'll end up paying 40% more than my quote, which by the way wasn't cheap I paid a similar amount moving in so I have a fair real reference.

15. These guys were great!

    Professional, respectful and worth every penny. They arrived when they said they would, were cautious with heavy furniture, and they moved fast. Would use again with no hesitation. They are the best. I highly recommend these guys.
