  1. Do not use this company

We used Edens moving service to move from Colorado to Florida and my tv was broke, every single lamp was smashed, my sons box spring was completely missing and my dads Harley was damaged with almost 9700 worth of work. Most of our boxes were smashed. Do not use this company! They also do not replace anything they broke unless you have receipts for everything and photos have to be submitted by mail and they only give you .60 cents per pound which would equal to next to nothing.

  2. This is the worst moving company....EVER

Stir clear of this company. The five star reviews aren't legit and are their own employees posing as movers to drive up their ratings. I used this company a couple years ago and still to this day have MANY damaged items that they never made right. Still seeing many disappointed customers and wish they would see the real reviews about this not so customer centric company. Don't waste your money

  3. Horrible Damage

Absolutely horrible!!! Moved from Colorado to Florida. Everything was packed meticulously-layers of bubblewrap, then encased in down comforters, additional moving materials, and bright red "FRAGILE" stickers all over boxes, etc...(I've moved long distance over 10 time-I know how to pack!). I have moved successfully so many times, with no damage. The carelessness and destruction is appalling! Boxes arrived in Florida with holes punched in them and dented. The things Edens packed themselves were barely covered. I lost stoneware, crystal, wooden furniture which was BOXED AND PADDED by me were dented, scratched and chipped. I am sitting here now sifting through the shards of my destroyed wrought iron chandelier-it was wrapped in 2 comforters and buffered with bubblewrap and sweaters. How does this happen, other than from being tossed carelessly around! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! You will encounter heartbreaking losses!

  4. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

    I’m not sure if other peoples reviews on this company being good are valid at smh, but rest assured this is an honest review of Edens Moving Services;

We were making a move from Colorado to Florida and had a few moving companies on our radar, (primarily from girlfriends research) she reached out and spoke with a customer representative named Ofra who went over the details with the move from point A to point B. One of the main points for us going with them was Ofras great customer service, at first. She FaceTimed my girlfriend to see everything in our house to draw up a direct estimate.

Fast forward to moving day. The guys show up, the main guy has a list that doesn’t have a handful of items on there, he tells me they will be charging miscellaneous fees(packing of specific items, which mind you, we were told would be for free) I told him numerous times that he needed to contact Ofra because we had discussed the price estimate and there was a discrepancy. Numerous discrepancies. I reach out to her and she tells me to call him...? Why wouldn’t she call him. Then we he calls she doesn’t pick up. I’m literally catching a flight that same day so I had to make a decision. (Could not miss closing the next day) I’m very disappointed at this point. The dude drops the price a couple hundred bucks, oh! I forgot to mention one of the biggest parts! We didn’t even have them pack one of the rooms AND IT THE PRICE ENDED UP BEING 1K HIGHER THAN WHAT WE WERE ORIGINALLY TOLD!! Ultimately I had to sign the papers and pay half because I could not tell them to unpack, find another company and do everything over within a few hours.

I get to Florida and I have my girlfriend reach out to Ofra to discuss all of these issues and she forested her to the Manager, who’s Name is Gary. GARY IS THE THE NUMBER ONE REASON COMPANIES GO OUT OF BUSINESS, THE NUMBER ONE REASON THIS COMPANY HAS 3 STAR REVIEWS ON ONE OF THE REVIEW PLATFORMS! Which if I had known at the time I never would’ve went with them. BACK TO THE STORY, GARY TALKS TO MY GIRLFRIEND AND HE IS VERY RUDE, TALKING OVER HER, ASKING HER WHY I SIGNED THE PAPERS WHEN WE DIDNT LIKE THE AGREEMENT(remarks of an ignorant prick btw.) and I called him, left a voicemail and of course he never answered. THIS COMPANY IS HANDS DOWN A JOKE AND IF YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE WHO DONT PICK UP THE PHONE AND MAKE UP LIES TO GET YOUR BUSINESS, THEN EDENS MOVING SERVICES ARE THE ONES!...ALMOST 10 days later and we still don’t have our stuff.

  5. Wish i seen some of the previous reviews

But unfortunately, got this company through a broker, sorry state of record with this moving company... looking at many reviews...A+ rating on BBB apparently, must be a scam..people work for money so do their employees am sure.....not sure what else to say based on shear experience

these movers broke furniture which is understandable but losing furniture or property?? not tolerable

  6. Terrible.

I would not recommend this moving company if you value any of your items. We used them once and although we had minor issues, overall it was an okay move. So we decided to use them once more for our move from CO to VA. BIG MISTAKE. They broke our new Traeger Grill by not properly wrapping and securing it from being bent. They bent the handlebars on our lawnmower as well. Our washing machine was missing the drum shock and the lid was bent and damaged. It was also a new appliance. Our wooden kitchen table leaf attachment was broken, so now it does not latch. Our buffet cabinet was cracked down the sides. This is only a few of the items damaged. We had a dresser damaged, microwave car, antique rocker, a couple of lamps and souvenirs damaged beyond repair. We filed a claim and they valued our damages at less than $200.00. Really? The Traeger Grill is new and it cost over $800.00. Again, do not use this company. Walk away fast and look for another company that has experienced and professional employees.

ZERO STARS for Eden's Moving Company.

  7. Terrible.

Leaving this review until the claims process is wrapped up and Eden’s has a chance to make things right.
One thing to note about my move – I called and received quotes from 6 different movers and, despite Eden’s being the second highest, went with them because it appeared they had solid reviews (though I now doubt the legitimacy on the majority of the generic 5 star reviews, which I’m investigating for other people who will be moving with my company).
Quote: About $2000 after the first call and then $2600 after I called back to confirm boxes and update my inventory.
    Actual: $3500
    Damaged items:
    1) Antique painting (The wrapping came off and all corners were exposed and damaged)
    2) Antique end table (The METAL brackets were snapped off and bent out of place)
    3) 2 Custom Wood Stand Up Paddleboards @ $1800 a piece (These were crushed in places clear through the fiberglass)
    4) Broken Fishing rods (these weren’t wrapped at all)
    5) Several Paintings scuffed (all my paintings minus 2 were thrown in the same box by the movers)
    6) Professional racing bike (I watched the mover rip off the speedometer when loading the bike. The bike was never wrapped, and the gears were bent in during the move, basically making it unrideable)
    7) Framed Mirror (the frame was shattered in several places)
    8) Antique Lane Cedar chest (the finish/siding was ripped off)
    9) Antique writers’ desk (two of the wooden legs were ripped clean off)
    10) Antique spotlight (metal bent and warped in from being poorly wrapped with other items and being crushed during the move)
    11) Metal wardrobe rack (the metal tubing was crushed and bent)
    12) Bed frame (wheels to the bedframe missing)
    13) Brand new Dryer (dryer knob missing)
There was a lot more items that were damaged in boxes (ceramic vases, glass cups/bowls, etc) but I only included items that were wrapped by Eden’s and damaged either due to poor wrapping, being crushed due to improper loading or simply being thrown from the vehicle when moving the items into storage.
On delivery, the movers said this was the second worse move they’ve experienced (which is especially concerning considering this was a simple one-bedroom apartment move…). The movers themselves were appalled with how much damage I received and wrote down all of the damaged items, the reason behind the damage (poor packing from Eden’s) and signed the doc because they mentioned the claims process is very hard and, if you don’t have some sort of evidence that the damage was due Negligence (i.e., Eden’s movers improperly packing the items or physically throwing them when moving in and out of storage), you typically get screwed. After delivering all the damaged goods, the movers then stayed in my apartment and discussed how much time they saved me for moving my items and requested I give each of them a tip.
After the move, I called and emailed several times before someone finally talked with me about the move. When we were on the phone it became apparent the person had not viewed any of the pictures I had sent and was unaware of the extent of the damage. During the phone call this person became frustrated and ultimately punted me to the claims process and said they might be able to add a small % of on top of the claims (which would likely equate to less than $100 since they cover by weight and not the value of your items). The Eden’s folks did not offer to come inspect, fix or replace any of the damaged items, even though I had the signed document stating the damage was as a result of them not packing things correctly.

  8. Moving.

I have alwase moved myself without any company’s. I chose edens because I was referred by a family member.
When they arrived they were very respectful and rapped all furniture u could definatley tell these guys are experienced.
    Great job!!

  9. Dont hire them!

Eden was the lowest price move estimate that we received. We regret not paying a little more and hiring a company that gave us an estimate that was a little more in price and told us something like this would probably happen. In short, the people in the office at Eden lied and deceived us so many times and the truck was days later than they told us it would be when we called to give them the date we could accept delivery. I saw the truck driver drag my dining room table across the truck bed and again on the driveway. The table was wrapped in blankets but they tore and the table was ruined. They insisted on boxing our tvs and charging us to do that but at the same time the guys that did it told us that those tvs never make it without being damaged and it didn't. We had to buy a new tv. They lost all the screws and bolts for everything we had and we had to replace those. My husband and have I spent hours and hours fixing the messes they left us with! Tables without legs plus the walls and doors were damaged. They are offering us $90 for a settlement! The table and the tv were both $1000 each. We were going to get the additional insurance but then they raised the price $2000 plus about $1000 for the insurance. It was so late in the move that we figured we were screwed either way so don't make the same mistake we did when we hired Eden to move our belongings!! They will tell you anything they think you want to hear but they don't keep their word! Oh yeah..everything smelled so bad when it was delivered! Those blankets must be filthy because our furniture smelled bad and it took about 2 weeks for everything to air out and stop smelling nasty! I've never used so much Febreeze before! Ugh!

  10. Responsive and attentive. Very professional.

We hired edens moving to move a two bedroom apartment and they did a fantastic job. The quote they gave us was pretty accurate, the movers despite the fact they were 15 min late came with great energy promising us they will finish 15 min early and they did. The move went smoothly our staff were in the exact same shape as prior to the move, they re-wrapped few of our items to secure them better and provided a fast and successful move. Great work! Highly recommended!

  11. Long distance move. Smooth and fast! Highly recommended.

This is our second move with eden's moving. Our first move was about tn years ago and this move was just completed yesterday. On both times they did an excellent job! we got great professional service. Our sales rep (for this last move), Drew, did a fantastic job. We couldn't thank you enough for making our move fast and easy. Thank you!

  12. Worst company ever.

I watched them toss my boxes on a truck and thoughtlessly stack box on box crushing the bottom boxes. I said to them that says fragile and asked why they stacked big boxes on small ones but he acted like he didn’t understand English. They broke most of our stuff and the unloaders also did the same. Boxes were cartwheeled for no reason. The box said bathroom this side up and he put it in the bathroom upside down. Family collectibles smashed and no way of replacing. The movers get paid the same regardless of how they treat your stuff and it shows they just want to get in and out as quickly as possible. They smelled really bad before they even started and stunk up our bathroom. Then they asked for tips in cash to be handed to them individually because the boss will keep it all if I don’t. Worse experience ever. I also had to pay for a shuttle cause they said the truck wouldn’t fit when it really would have because while they were unloading another moving company with same size truck showed up next to us.

  13. Excellent service! great movers.

I heard about Eden's moving services from friends who recently moved and had a good experience, and they were excellent! Arrived at the expected time with the all their equipment and team. They were very polite, did exactly what was requested and were very gentle with everything. After a job well done, we ended up paying less than we were expecting with nothing damaged (although we still got insurance) and everything placed in the rooms specified. We couldn't be happier with their service. Thank you Eden's and thank you Barry, the best sale-contact person in Eden's who helped us throughout our move.

  14. This is a Scam!!

Customer service, or Gary, are horrible. Once you sign a contract, Once u agree on quote, they double the price and if you do not pay they hold your move hostage. Not only did they double amount quoted, they added 1/3 of the final amount in fees we were not aware of. PLEASE use someone else. I had no choice, but I hope this helps you.

  15. Best move experience.

I hired Eden's Moving for a local move in aurora CO few weeks ago. Unlike three other companies that I contacted that time, they were the only ones able to complete my move in one day and they did an outstanding job. The sales lad, Ofra, quoted me a price and that was almost exactly what I paid and she was great at keeping in touch with me, communication goes a long way in my book, she was very detailed and honest. I will hire Eden's moving services in the near future for my sons move to collage and I do recommend them. This was not the first time I used movers but it was the best move experience that I had.
