  1. Integrity.

    I have hired Eden's Moving for two separate moves. Both times, all employees were respectful and very careful with our belongings and furniture. The quotes, in both instances were higher than what was actually charged. A few days after the second job was finished I received a call from the company informing me that I had been overcharged. I received immediate reimbursement. I would not have noticed the mistake. I appreciate the company's integrity.

    I have used this moving company several times and they are the best moving company I have ever used. They are on time and the don't try wasting precious time of the move. They were very professional, clean, easy to schedule, and the price was right. I will defiantly going to continue using their services.

  3. Moved from Denver to Boston.

    After reading all of the negative reviews online was pretty skeptic about using Eden's Moving. Marty, my moving coordinator assured me that it's not always what it seems to be. As a business owner myself, I know that consumers share more of their bad experience online and less people share their positive experience.
    I decided to trust Eden's Moving and Marty scheduled a in house estimate. Drew, the estimator, was very professional and polite. He sat down with me for 45 minutes after writing down all I had to move and explained to me the complete process from beginning to end.
    On the same day he emailed me the moving estimate and compared to other companies, it wasn't cheap. The only difference was the fact that NO other company was willing to come out or even offer a in house estimate!
    I decided to go with Eden's Moving and it was the CORRECT decision. The price did not increase, the moving crew were absolutely amazing and they made sure that everything I had was protected before it was even loaded to the truck.
    Marty and Drew mentioned that it should take three to fourteen business days for them to deliver because it had to be consolidated with other moves.
    It only took them nine days to get my belongings to Boston, impressive don't you think?
    The delivery driver, which I forgot his name, and his crew were very polite and respectful.
    The best part of this move is the fact that not even one item was scratched.
    Conclusion, not everything you see online is always correct.
    Eden's Moving did a GREAT job and I'm glad I chose them.
    I will be recommending their services to my friends and family.

  4. Terrible Company--do not use.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BEWARE: HORRIBLE COMPANY
    If I could give this company a negative stars I would. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever had the experience of working with.
    First I was PROMISED my move estimate would not increase. When they came to do my in home estimate which they said over the phone they couldn't do until 3 weeks before but when the assessor arrived he informed me it could have been booked 2 months prior. There were so many items he asked me about that over the phone was never discussed. Fans, garbage cans, yoga mats. These are not typical items I would bring up when someone asks me what furniture I own and they didn't ask about them or mention them. These items caused my price to increase by 300.00 which I was then informed I should be glad it didn't double and they weren't doing it day of. So I should be glad that their service isn't worse. Oh lucky me.

    I am then frustrated by this experience and I leave a review online that just talks about my frustration but doesn't even say they are a bad company to work with.

    Then then call me and cancel my move saying they will no longer move me--3 weeks before my move. Then we come to an agreement if I take my review down and we start from square one they will move me.

    But then they send me a form to sign for them to move me which is me giving up all my rights and gives them the ability to sue me.

    Upon receipt by the undersigned of $__, the undersigned or his agent, heirs, administrators,executors, successors, and assigns hereby and completely release and further discharge Eden's Moving Services LLC its past, present or future officers, directors, stockholders, agents, servants, representatives, employees, subsidiaries, affiliates, partner, predecessors, and successors from any and all past, present, future claims, demands, obligations,actions, rights, damage costs, expenses, and compensation of any nature whatsoever, whether based on tort, contract, or other theory of recovery, which undersigned or anyone entitled to any recovery, now has or which may hereafter accrue or otherwise be required on account of, or in any way going out of, the contracts for services rendered and entered into between the parties named here within. Furthermore, all events and actions leading up to this agreement, including the terms and conditions of this agreement are to remain confidential and no further claims, complaints, statements or other action may be taken or reported to any State, city, government, insurance, consumer group, public, media organization, Internet website or credit card agency.
    Furthermore, failure to comply by violating the terms of this agreement, the signer accepts full responsibility to reimburse/pay for all costs associated to damages occurred; including recovery of all monies, costs, legal & court fees, as well as from any/all other losses associated.
    Any/all addendum's, changes, edits, must be pre-approved only by ownership of Eden's Moving Services. Any fraud or forgery executed or associated with this agreement, Eden's reserves the right to prosecute to the full extend of the law, within jurisdictions of both customer(s) and Eden's Moving Services.
    I, the undersigned, fully understand that this document becomes effective upon the affixing of my signature below. At that time this document shall become effective including all the terms and conditions contained within.
    Which they then proceed to give me legal advice on what this document means--which not what it says. They are saying it means lets start from a clean slate--they have already broken promises and blamed it on me. No way I am signing something this or should anyone ever do that.

    When I find new movers because I am so disgusted by their service they blame it on me saying that I should have done a better job telling them what I had and that I was asking for more so I shouldn't be upset. Their response when I ask about my deposit getting returned and their process is as fast as humanly possible. Which is not an answer and super rude.

  5. Mike Rosenfeld is the worst!

    We received a phone call from the driver, MIKE ROSENFELD from Eden's Movers, informing us that he would be arriving in Boston to deliver our property the next day between 8am and 12pm. The next at 11am, we received a call from the driver informing us that he was running late and would not be able to arrive until 2pm. By 3pm, we still had not heard from him, so we called his cell phone, at which point he said he would not be able to make it to our apartment until 4pm. He finally arrived at 4:30pm. The driver (Mike Rosenfeld) had promised us multiple times that he would have four movers coming to help unload everything, but only two ever showed up. The second mover didn’t arrive until 5:30pm, which is when they started to move things in.

    The two movers that did show up did not seem to have any prior relationship with the driver and seemed to have been randomly hired cheap labor. They appeared to have little to no moving experience (one of them said “I’ve moved myself so I know what to do”), and were extremely unprofessional. They were also painfully slow. They took much longer to move our belongings than they should have, and on multiple occasions were only carrying one small object at a time and generally being very inefficient. By the time they left, it was 10:30pm, and they hadn’t even fully completed their obligations. They were so slow that by 9pm or 9:30pm I felt it necessary to move items myself along with them in order to try to speed the process up.

    The movers were also incredibly incompetent during the move, causing a lot of damage to our apartment. This damage includes several scratches, dents, and marks made to the walls, floors, doors, and doorframes, including a 10-12 inch scratch across our front door. There are numerous scratches on the real hard wood floors in our apartment that are between 3 and 9 inches in length. The many scratches on the walls are anywhere from 4 to 12 inches in length. The circumferences of the dents are around 2 to 4 inches. We rent our apartment and the damage will likely be very costly to repair. We also witnessed them on multiple occasions drop boxes (damaging them) or furniture, including our TV (twice). So far we’ve found a few items with damage, including a slow cooker and a floor lamp, and will likely find more as we continue to unpack. Additionally, they were very loud while moving us, even late into the night, and there were several complaints from our neighbors.

    As mentioned, by the time the movers and driver left, they had still not completed all of their obligations. They did not bother to put furniture back together that had been taken apart (per our contract), such as bikes, lamps and TVs, even though the contract stated that all unassembled items would be reassembled. They also did not remove any of the cardboard boxes or trash that they created when unpacking furniture in order to recover the blankets used to protect them, leaving mounds of trash in our apartment. They didn’t even fully unpack and collect all of said blankets, as there is still a chair that is wrapped in one of them.

    We also had quite a few problems with the driver himself. He was very dishonest with us throughout the process, and I got the impression on multiple occasions that he was trying to get as much money out of us as he could. Also, when the driver arrived, he asked repeatedly how we were planning on paying, and every time we said we planned to pay with a post office money order, he would try to convince us to pay in cash instead.

    After the move was almost over, there were still two boxes that had not been accounted for. The driver tried to assure me that they must be there and that he counted all the boxes before hand and knew everything was there. When it came time to sign the moving documents, I brought up the fact that two boxes were unaccounted for on the documents, but he told me it didn’t matter and he demanded that I sign the documents anyway. At this point, I was fearful that he would stop moving our furniture into the apartment if I didn’t sign the documents and I had no choice but to give in to his demands.

  6. Theft.

    My experience with this company could have had a happy ending, but after receiving my boxes.. Items worth over $1300 were taken from several boxes over the span of 16 days. boxes were re-packed so that you don't notice. Money cannot replace the feeling of your things stolen and that someone went through your underwear and personal belongings. Very very disappointed with this company that has thieves working for them. I need other things moved, but will NEVER use this company ever again.

  7. Moving Experience.

    This is a Great company, I have Moved from CA to PA Back on December, Tom was really Helpful setting everything up for me.. Got my items within 2 weeks as promised, their Driver Benedict Helped me set up everything in my new Philly apartment..The price was not the lowest but competitive, Its my 6th time moving and had bad experience from few companies in the past, so you can imagine the stress I was in! so happy I used this company, they made the extra effort for me and will use again for sure..

  8. Very Smooth!

    I am so glad we used Eden's! We had a great moving crew and they worked around our schedule. It was nice to not feel like we were putting them out for a change. I felt very comfortable with my whole house in their hands. I even sent things with them that I was leery about because they put me so at ease. Thank you for making a very stressful thing as easy as possible! I would definitely recommend them for a move.

  9. Moving.

    DO NOT USE Eden's unless you want surly, rude, careless, unprofessional, zero service packers and zero customer service afterward. This was a HORRIBLE company to work with. The packers worked hard but kept asking "take??" as if they didn't want to pack. They were surly and very rude as the day wore on. Customer service is non-existent with answers of "we don't do that" for almost everything. Want your boxes picked up after the move? FORGET IT "we don't do that" will be your answer. The people who moved us in were very good because they were a local, southern hospitality type of crew, but they did smoke a lot and some of our stuff smells of cigarettes.

    Overall, this was a horrible experience and still is a month and a half after the the fact. They claimed they wouldn't break anything.. WRONG!! So many things were broken or damaged and their laughable $.60 a pound replacement isn't worth the spit to say it. They broke a tv, an antique table, countless bins, dishes, vacuum cleaner, just to name a few things right off the bat.

    They use an extreme, needless amount of tape on EVERYTHING - they tape DIRECTLY on wood and other items - ruining finishes. Then they have the audacity to charge you $4.00 a roll of tape on top!!

    If you like you items LITERALLY thrown into a TALL wardrobe box with ZERO care and ZERO protection, breaking things in the box- use them. Otherwise, AVOID EDEN'S MOVING - THEY ARE AWFUL!! HORRIBLE, horrible experience. NEVER again will I use this surly, lack of service, lack of care, company again. If they come calling.. RUN.. RuN as fast as you can!!

    They will be charming until you sign on the line, then all bets are off.

    Get EVERYTHING in writing especially when they tell you things you want to hear when you are tired. They WILL NOT honor anything not in writing and I hesitate to bet they will even honor things in writing.

    RUN RUN RUN away from them!! Liars, cheats, rude, careless, amateur movers. WORST EVER!!

  10. They Fought the Boston Storm of the Century..

    The young men showed up when they said they would, and they even braved a snow-buried Boston area house for drop-off. Seriously, the roads and driveways were solid ice..there was five feet of snow in my yard..and they got the job done! They were professional on the phone as well as in person, and I felt that they were sensitive to my needs. Their price was reasonable and I am happy to recommend Edens to you.

  11. Worst company ever.

    Cost thousands over quote. Unprofessional. Driver was rude, office doesn't return calls or emails. Lots of my stuff was missing or broken. Driver late to pick up and didn't have anyone to help unload truck. My boyfriend had to unload it. Didn't give 24 hours notice, but charged extra because he had to wait an hour?..He showed up on a Sunday morning wanting cash, before anything was open. Wouldn't drive down our road, had to pay for a haul truck and transfer load. Even though large water trucks for fracking have no problem. Lots of hidden fees. Charge for tape, bulk items, credit card fee, transfer fee of $400. It's been 6 months later, still no check from insurance company on missing items. It would have been cheaper if I left everything behind and bought it all new.

  12. Very good moving company.

    I hired Eden's moving for my local move from glendale to Denver. My initial quote was for 8 hours for the price $840 and an additional $105 for travel time. On my move date the moving crew showed up at 8:30 AM, as I have requested. While I was going through the agreement with the mover that was in charge, the other two movers started covering my floors up. They were very professional with wrapping all of my furniture and how they loaded it all to their truck. We were out of my place by 10:30 AM and on our way to my new home in Denver. By 1:30 PM they managed to offload everything off the truck and assemble back my 2 beds and dinning table. It took them only 5 hours to complete my move and the head mover adjusted my final price from a total of $955 to $630, always great to pay less than what you thought it might cost!   I found out that they also service long distance moves to and from Colorado and my fiance will be moving from Houston to Denver in March and I will definitely be hiring Eden's moving for her relocation. This moving company was a pleasure to work with from the get go and I will recommend their services to my friends, family and anyone that I know that needs to move.

    I used Eden's Moving for my move back from Florida to Colorado. They were referred by my friend, which used their services before. They did an outstanding job and it started with Marty, my moving coordinator, all the way to the moving crew that delivered my things. I will be using them again this year and will recommend them to my family and friends. Special thanks to Marty for making my move so smooth!

  14. Stolen DVDS.

    Hired company to perform a local move from one part of Aurora, CO to another part of Aurora.  They arrived and packed some items, but most items were boxed and labeled.  After delivery was complete, I even tipped the driver and his helpers.  I am missing several boxes of bluray dvds, which were clearly labeled on the boxes, which was a mistake.  After contacting the company a couple weeks after discovering my collection was short about 100 bluray movies, I was informed that I needed to file a police report.  I was told that that the employees who took my dvds make too much money to steal, so there is no way my items were taken.  I have search several times, and racked my brain, and I am absolutely certain that my dvds were not delivered.  I didn't check the truck, and I recall the driver and his crew very eager to leave.  The truck door was also closed.  I feel totally taken advantage of, and I get furious everytime I go to my collection to look at a movie that I once had.  I have a huge collection of dvds, even with the ones being stolen, but it is very upsetting to know you paided someone to take something from you that it took such a long time to acquire.  People work hard for the things they have, and if someone decides they want to just come and take it makes me fighting mad.  I want my merchandise, and I will keep letting the public know that I was taken advantage of, and I will write about this experience until I get my merchandise back.

  15. Good experience.

    I used Eden's Moving for my relocation to San Francisco. Drew was one of the first people to that called me. He was very professional and it seemed like he knew quite a bit about the moving industry. After explaining how things work we scheduled an in home survey. Joe, the estimator, came over to do the walk through. He was even more professional and he spent over an hour with my wife and I explaining every little detail. Overall, good service, very reasonable price, and pretty quick delivery. I read some of the reviews that other people posted and I must say that I was pretty surprised. I guess you need some luck even when you move. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend their services!
