1. Stay away!

   Picked up our furniture and stored it May 2019. Delivered on Dec. 9, 2019. And ON that very date, they KNEW and reported to their office that a FULL U-Haul wardrobe of clothes was MISSING! Other items as well! Two boxes because they delivered 2 that were NOT ours ... and a cushion to a rocker of great sentimental value!!! And I emailed SEVERAL times.The response? They'll check on it. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done about it. Oh yes, I went through the company they told me to go to .. even sent a FULL DETAILED PACKAGE to the address given. I checked last month and they said I'd have an answer soon.
   
   Yesterday(February 2021) I checked AGAIN. And was "told" that I didn't fill out the paperwork so my claim was denied. I filled out their paperwork, and I have a FULL copy of everything that has transpired. Again, THEY KNEW ON THE DELIVERY DATE THAT THE FULL WARDROBE OF CLOTHES WAS MISSING!!!! And the two boxes. This isn't over! These people are not to be trusted, in my opinion! It's also very sad that they have absolutely NO customer service at all!

2. Stay Away.

   You will regret using this moving company. Stay away from this lying and deceitful company. They take your furniture and then take months to deliver. When they eventually deliver things will be missing.

3. Horrible.

   My mom moved from Joliet, Illinois to central Texas to retire near my children and me. Jay from Trinity VanLines based out of Florida “handled” their move. They contracted Interstate Relocation Services out of Dallas, Tx where a guy named Mike Stevens supposedly is in charge. Their belongings were packed up on Sept 8. They received not even half of their stuff (hardly any furniture) on sept 17. They were told the rest would be delivered the following day. Every dining chair was severely damaged. Their appliances..severely damaged. My moms expensive sewing machine she uses for her job..damaged! No truck the next day. Then on Sept 27 they got a call that the rest of their stuff would be delivered that day. Truck came and they had a few items on the truck. A table saw, air compressor, patio table and a heavily damaged wall hanging. Still no beds. No livingroom furniture etc. was told Wednesday Oct 2 they’d have it Friday oct 4. Then told Friday was told the truck was 9 hours away from Dallas still so it’d be there Saturday oct 5. Saturday came and then Mike told them they’d be delivering Sunday oct 6 (today). It’s 1pm Sunday. No movers, no calls. Nothing. My mom has been a mess. I’ve never seen her cry so much. They have called attorneys. When she told Mike Stevens what their attorney advised, HE LAUGHED AT HER and said she needs a new attorney. Tomorrow I may have to take a trip to Dallas and pay this Mike guy a visit with some police officers after we file theft charges against him. I don’t know what else to do. This has been a nightmare. My mom and step-dad have been sleeping on air mattresses and don’t even have their clothes. Only what they packed for a weeklong trip! They just want their things. If they ever do get them, hopefully they aren’t as severely damaged as everything else has been!! Absolutely awful!!

4. Do Not Use!! Worst Company Ever!!

   It has been 90 days as of today and my daughter still has not gotten her stuff. The move was from Texas to Maryland. They have nothing and have been sleeping on an air mattress all this time. My grandson starts school next week with no clothes, books, etc. No one returns calls. We are reporting her stuff stolen and gotten a lawyer involved.
   
   STAY AWAY FROM THESE RIP OFFS!!

5. Worst Move Ever!!

   Worst move EVER! Much of our belongings were damaged and some destroyed. We were extorted an additional $5200 for the small amount of belongings that did not fit in the first truck and those possessions have not yet been delivered, more than two months later. Our driver, Kerry William, overtly lied to us repeatedly. They showed up with two movers for a four story 4000 sq ft house with no prior knowledge of the scope of the move. They were hiring additional help from Craig's List on both ends of the move (for what was delivered.) Last we heard the remainder of our belongings were put into storage and we have no information about a delivery date. Our move was over two months ago. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. EVER.

6. Horrible company. Needs to be put out of business.

   They honestly don't even deserve one star. Do your research! This company looks valid and well represented, but the reviews are fake from their own employees! They are scammers! Absolutley the worst experience I have ever had. They packed the truck, took our stuff, then doubled their original quote. Told us we had to pay it or we wouldn't get our stuff back. They originally told us $8000, then they demanded $20000! That was just the beginning of the nightmare. So many things were broken and damaged when we finally received our stuff 2 MONTHS after our move. They were so disrespectful with our things and were only there to collect a pay check. This move was hard on our family, but they made it absolutley traumatizing on our kids. We have a claim currently ongoing against them. PLEASE do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE!

7. Stay Away! Worst Movers Ever!

   I hired IRS to move me from CO to NY. DISASTER! Two men came to move us on January 16, 2019. They ran out of packing materials about half way into the move and assured me, when I expressed alarm, that they would, “Take it back to the warehouse to repack all of it before it went across country.” This clearly never happened.
   I had to call IRS several times for the next three weeks to see when our things would get to our home in Rhinebeck. They never once called me with an update. I was told that the movers would give me 24 hours notice before they arrived with our things. Imagine my surprise when they called to say they would be there in 10 minutes! I scrambled from work to get there and found when they opened the truck that our belongings were tumbled together in the most destructive way. The damage is as follows:
   • Our white linen Restoration Hardware couch was uncovered and laying in the filth in the back of the truck.
   • Most of the furniture was unprotected with ANY covering, including the
   • new Restoration Hardware white linen king headboard and the
   • new velvet RH king headboard which had tape around the velvet which pulled the velvet off completely when the tape was removed.
   • The custom “Gina B” suede chairs were torn and stained
   • the custom base for the dining table has huge chunks out of it as did
   • 2 designer end tables.
   • The RH metal console table has giant, irreparable scratches on the top of it.
   • Both of our luxury Beauty Rest Black mattresses have every handle ripped out of the seams. These were also nearly brand new before the move. They were not contained with “Specially designed mattress cartons to keep your mattresses clean and safe” which the company lists is part of the regular moving agenda. They were only half covered with flimsy plastic.
   • A humidifier was utterly crushed as it was placed in the truck with no box whatsoever to protect it.
   • The new RH outdoor teak furniture has chunks out of it.
   
   During the move into the house, they completely ruined the walls going up the stairway including a gouge in the sheet rock and chunks out of the plaster when they moved couches upstairs.
   
   Now no one will return my calls. Hard to believe this company is still in business. STAY AWAY!

8. Stay Away From This Company.

   BEWARE! Initially I worked with Jeffery Calloway who lied to us about this entire experience. I was quoted one amount and ended up being up charged by $700 on the day of move in because “my items were larger than normal”. I was very specific with the sizes and quantities of my items and they intentionally low balled me to then charge me more. When I tried to reach out to Jeffery (Jeff) he went MIA and I have been trying to get a hold of him for 3 months! Also worked with Ryan who is equally as unhelpful and when I told him about the upcharge responded rudely by assuming that I lied on my list.
   
   
   Upon delivery they also ruined my brand new dining room table that I can no longer use.
   
   Now that we are all moved in I am missing 2 boxes containing power tools, books, and office materials. We are also missing 2 shovels! I have already reported this but have not had any luck.
   
   Please stay away, their pricing is false and they are unreliable.

9. Courteous and very professional.

   We moved from northern of California to Chicago IL. We hired Interstate Relocation Systems because a friend said he was very satisfied with their service. During the early stages they kept in contact me throughout the entire process and answered all my questions with a smile in their face (yes I could tell on the phone). The estimator who came to my house to survey our household goods was thorough. You could tell that he had some experience and presented himself in a professional matter but was also personable with a great sense of humor. Since he was a hockey fan, him and my husband spoke like they were old friends. On the day of the move the men worked quickly and effectively despite the intense heat and humidity and continued with their sense of humor and pleasantries until they were ready to leave. They were all good to work with, individually as well as with the overall team. The team was great from start to finish, and the final price even came in under the estimate. Very minimal damage done, and lots of fun with the team. During transit they were prompt with their communications and had the best quote. They were never pushy or demanding when it came to asking specific questions and we welcomed any suggestions they had.
   
   Professionalism is crucial and being in the service industry myself I definitely appreciated the fact they arrived promptly and started working right away in a meticulous way. Our move required them to make two stops and they still completed all my moving requirements in less time than discussed during the original estimate. They had a very friendly and outgoing personality. In other words, their behavior showed they were happy to be there and wanted to help. They were very capable and dismantled furnished effectively and wrapped every item carefully so that there were no scratches or damaged to any furniture pieces and other delicate items like my tv, speakers.
   
   Courteous and very professional. They were very pleasant, and helpful even helping me get rid of junk I didn't want to move. I had many old boxes in my attic I really sure if they were going to be able to clean them and move the boxes effectively.
   
   Interstate Relocation Systems got the job done very promptly and was very surprised they actually got it cleaned. Very excellent work, in their part. Not only their work ethic is gold but they had an amazing attitude towards everything. The attic situation was a hard job but they got it done with an enthusiastic approach to the job. Never heard a complain coming from them. Their dedication to the job, ability to work as a team, and commitment to making certain I was satisfied from the the showed up until the last piece of household goods was loaded. As individuals or collectively as a team, all were faithful to customers service. Sometimes we are all too quick to criticize and slow too praise, so just wanted to say thank you for your great service. Please, please recognize and reward these people. My rewarding experience started from the phone call to my things arrived. I'm very happy. I also wanted to mention our estimator, Leo was helpful and accurate. The driver arrived and addressed all of our concerns and questions. This was very important for me to know because of my past negative experiences with different moving companies. The result and their actions were exactly what the sale representative mentioned over the phone.
   
   I was very satisfied with everyone and the process. We literally trusted him with everything we owned. This company was very professional from the sales person to the packers, movers and delivery people. Everything was packed perfectly and we had no damaged or breakage when we unpacked. Best of all, this high quality service was very reasonable priced. Thank you Interstate Relocation Systems for employing such an amazing employees and making all my moves so sorry free. I would certainly recommend this moving company to anyone who is moving to use Interstate Relocation Systems.

10. Awesome and enjoyable.

    I’ve always lived in the small town of Sharon, PA when I received a opportunity from my job to relocate to Miami, FL for a way bigger pay grade. I absolutely had to take it! I had never moved before an I lived in the same town since birth. I had no idea how to go about moving, or just to do it myself. After talking to some of my co workers an friends, I decided the do if yourself way would not be the best idea ever.
    
    I did some more research about the different moving companies I came across Interstate Relocation Systems. I decided to call them an get see how they went about their fees an how they moved. When I called the lady she was more than friendly and helpful. Being the negative Nancy I am, I questioned everything she said. Despite my many questions she had such a positive and helpful attitude the whole time. She answered everyone of my questions calmly an with reinsurance. By the end of the call I was more then sure this this the company I would go with. I was concerned with the extra money it would cost me but she assured me it was worth the extra money. Moving day came quicker than I had planned thanks to my bipolar boss. They even made the it happen a little earlier than I said at first. When they arrived at the house they helped me packed up some of my more fragile items by providing extra padding and bubble wrap for them which they didn't have to do. They took apart all my furniture completely and was very careful with everything I owned. I was very satisfied already how this was going. Even the moving guys had such a uplifting vibe to them they dealt with all my nagging an ocd ways, they helped me organize all my things an kept reinstating me everything would be handled with care.
    
    We have a China cabinet that has been passed down through generations from my great grandmother's mother and it is the most cherished item that we own. The first thing the guys did is wrap this cabinet to a point where it look like a pillow and as soon as I saw this I knew I could just let them do their work and not hang them like a hawk to make sure they take care of our valuables. They ended up arriving before I even made it there, I'm a extremely slow driver and plus all my pit stops don't help. Upon arrival they were very organized with taking the items out in the right order an they also put everything in the right rooms an set everything up for me. I'm not obsessive about my furniture but I did not notice any marks or danger some to anything ! All my fragile items made it in one piece. They didn't rush unpacking at all an even had side conversations with me as they could clearly tell I was a nervous wreck. I would recommend this company to anymore moving, they really made my first move a awesome, enjoyable, an effort less experience!

11. I would definitely recommend them!

    Several weeks ago when my husband accepted a position in Southern California, we needed to find a moving company fast since it was a last minute decision. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into by contacting Interstate Relocation Systems but we decided to give it a try. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone when scheduling my booking completely understood my situation and knew that I was at a crossroads since we had to move as soon as possible. After putting me on a brief hold, he came back to me with the best news possible! Not only was he so personable on the phone, but the one day they were able to squeeze us in just so happened to be the only day that we were available so it worked out perfectly! The day of the move went very smoothly. I am pretty particular with people touching my stuff because I am always afraid that someone is going to break something so I was very pleased with the way the movers handled my belongings.
    
    They were so careful with everything and kept us in the loop with every item they were wrapping so we knew exactly how each item was wrapped. I just felt so comfortable with everything that I was completely speechless that these people were so considerate and nice. They were a lot of fun to be around also. At one point in time throughout the day when they were packing up my 4 year old daughters room she started crying because she couldn't understand why they were taking some of her stuff so they sat her down and told her exactly what was going on and she even got the opportunity to help them pack some of her own stuff which made her really happy!
    
    Because we were moving from a big house to a small two bedroom apartment I was really worried about where all of our stuff was going to go. I was just a nervous wreck when we arrived to California before our furniture arrived so of course I was worried about things breaking during the trip. To my surprise not one thing broke. Not only were they so careful wrapping everything but they were so careful and meticulous unloading everything and making sure we were completely comfortable with where and how they were placing all .Interstate Relocation Systems made our transition so much easier and enjoyable and I would definitely recommend them!

12. They deserve 6 stars.

    They deserve 6 stars if you ask me! They really went over and beyond with my move. I am a mother of four crazy boys and during this move my husband was already in New York starting his new job while I was in FL trying to pack everything up. As soon as Kayla heard that I was alone with 4 fours kids she recommended that the movers came prepared to pack just to help. At first I said No because I did not want others packing my things.. I have a certain way that I like my things. She understood that and asked me if I wanted to add some packing to the order just in case I was not finished on time, if I did not need the extra packing I would not be charged. I agreed to that, with my kids it was a good way to think ahead.
    The movers arrived on time which made my day because I was on a time crunch! I was able to pack everything myself so all they had to wrap was my major things. Having kids involved in this move was the best part. I was so afraid that my boys would be in the way but it was the opposite. My 2 oldest boys told the movers that they wanted to help and they put them right to work.. it was really cute to see and the boys thought it was so much fun. They packed up the truck really well, they
    made sure everything had a place and did not just throw things on. When they got to my new place in NY they were once again right on time. I was happy that my husband was home for this part so he could meet the movers himself, and he was as impressed as I was. They remembered the boys names and when they called to let us know when they were going to arrive he said Tell Gabe and Joe that I am hiring them again so be ready. That made their day, they were so happy the movers remembered them. They brought my things in like pros.. nothing was scratched damaged or dropped. My walls had no holes and the floors had no damage (thank goodness because they were wood floors). They put everything where we asked them to and even stayed and helped my husband
    put all the big items back together. Not only did we find one of the best moving companies I have come across, but we actually became friends with these people. My family is following us to NY and I already let my movers know so they would be the ones to move her and they made sure that they are going to be the ones. They did an amazing job!!

13. High Reviews are Fake—They Will Hold Your Things For Months.

    I honestly never leave reviews online, but this was a *horrible* experience. The positive reviews everywhere are fake reviews; take five minutes to examine them and you’ll see the patterns that the company pays for.
    We moved across the country and were supposed to have our stuff by mid-June. Enter July, and we were still calling to discover our things hadn’t even been scheduled to be loaded on a truck. We were in South Carolina and all of our stuff was in a storage unit in Colorado. We could never get a hold of them; I started calling every single day, and legitimately called 19 times one day (17 another, 18 another) before I could finally get a hold of someone, just to have them tell me that no, weeks later, my things still hadn’t been scheduled. This company was an absolute nightmare. After I threatened legal action, we finally received our things—over 2 months later than we were supposed to. My kid was starting school without school clothes. We didn’t have a bed. It was..an experience. They will offer you a great deal moneywise but I promise you it is not worth it. They upcharge you anyway, for “bulky items” and if you can ever get a hold of them to get your things, getting them months later will kill any small savings you might have gotten. I’m honestly surprised they haven’t been shut down. Go with a BBB rated company so that you have real recourse. Do literally anything but trust your things to these guys.

14. Great experience.

    The perfection of Interstate Relocation Systems has never crossed my mind until last week. Previously, I thought they were just the average relocation company offering ordinary services. When I had an opportunity of being relocated by them last week, I felt a significant difference. The relocations were good and everyone involved took seriously his relocation duties. I did not have to remind and follow them up continuously in the course of the relocations. Thank you so much for your diligence. You deserve my honour. Your relocations are great. I wasn’t disappointed when I hired you out last week. Everything was done perfectly. From the basic relocation services to the more complicated loading process, everything turned out the perfect. I enjoyed myself and I am grateful for that.

    There is nothing more I need, just Interstate Relocation Systems services. These are the only people who can guarantee exemplary relocations. When I sought their services, these people ensured I got the value of for my money. By being able to move all my properties from Washington DC to Hempstead, New York, I was left fully convinced that they are the best team for me. I have always loved diligence, commitment, and dedication. I derive so much passion from work done by people exhibiting these traits. That is why I was so happy when Interstate Relocation Systems crew came and relocated me to New York in such a peaceful way. They were supportive and helped us move as planned. Their high sense of interaction enabled me learn much from the humble crew.
