  1. Beyond the ordinary.

The services that your crew offered me were extraordinary. Right from packing until the final stages of the movement, all was perfect. You kept your promises of punctuality and diligence. I am glad that you were able to honour your promises. When I will be moving next time, you will be my choice of mover. I am in love with their services. I love the fact that they are able to keep and stick to their promises. I trusted them with relocations last week and they did not fail me. The services were so awesome and undoubtedly peaceful. I am glad because of the fact that they were able to offer me the very best of relocation services. You are perfect and I appreciate your relocation services.

  2. They did it well.

They know how to do it. Be certain of that. I used to doubt that before being relocated by them. After attaining the wonderful relocation services last week, I cannot be short of praises for them. Your work was so diligent and I will be looking forward to more relocations like that. I fail to understand why people say that relocation services are hectic and less preferable. To the best of my knowledge, relocation services are great. I have been hiring out Interstate Relocation Systems crew for my relocations and they have never failed me. Every time I trust them with my properties, they end up delivering beyond my expectations. You are so amazing and I will always be glad for the job well done.

  3. Best of the best.

The best of the best - that is the least I can say about Interstate Relocation Systems . I enjoyed the short yet memorable relocation experience I had with them. The furniture and electronics were relocated with so much diligence and care. I could not believe it! I am certain that the future relocation services will be great. Considering the kind of services I received last time, there are high hopes that forthcoming relocation will even be better. You helped me relocate to North Carolina without any troubles. The services were peaceful and less involving than I thought. I will be relocating again and I am hopeful that Interstate Relocation Systems will be able to provide sustaining services like before.

  4. Perfection at its best.

The perfection of Interstate Relocation Systems has never crossed my mind until last week. Previously, I thought they were just the average relocation company offering ordinary services. When I had an opportunity of being relocated by them last week, I felt a significant difference. The relocations were good and everyone involved took seriously his relocation duties. I did not have to remind and follow them up continuously in the course of the relocations. Thank you so much for your diligence. You deserve my honour. Your relocations are great. I wasn’t disappointed when I hired you out last week. Everything was done perfectly. From the basic relocation services to the more complicated loading process, everything turned out the perfect. I enjoyed myself and I am grateful for that.

  5. The best of movers.

I wanted to seek the services of a rival mover but my spouse insisted. She had so much belief in Interstate Relocation Systems and I did not want t to disappoint her. As such, I went ahead and sought the services of these movers. What came out of that relocation was something I had never experienced before. The relocation services were peaceful and full of joy. I love the interactive crew who ensured there was no boredom. You deserve more of my praises. If I am moving anytime soon, the choice company must be Interstate Relocation Systems. I will not relocate using another relocation company. I do believe so sincerely in the services. They took the relocations in such a cool and perfect way. It all turned out gloriously.

  6. The true movers.

This is the only relocation company that has been able to offer me consistently perfect relocation services. Every time I put my trust in them, I am not let down. They give me reasons to continue loving them. I am committed to your relocation services more than ever before. It was great being relocated by a diligent, dedicated, and honourable crew like Interstate Relocation Systems. They handled the relocation services in a friendly way. They were so interactive during the relocation and that helped me learn so much from them. Their relocation services were free of common errors. I thank them for doing everything to me just to ensure peaceful relocation services.

  7. Bawitdaba!

These guys were the best, sorry for the review title just a little of my Rock City coming out. They got me picked up and delivered super fast, packed the whole house, and got me door to door with a less-than-easily accessed lake house on delivery.

  8. This company is a disgrace!!

    The service is extremely poor.
    1. Once they have your item you will never get a reliable status update.
    2. Dont believe a word they say about delivery date because once they have your items you are at their mercy. Couple that with no reliable updates (see item #1).
    3. They damaged a couple of picture frames.
    4. They lie about everything. Before contract they said they would pack everything. When they arrive we have to pay separate for packing.

In summary: I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

  9. Long Distance move from Wilmington, NY to Clackamas, OR.

Our entire moving experience with Interstate has been challenging to say the least. Our sales representative promised us a dedicated 26’ truck to take our belongings from Wilmington, NY to Clackamas, Oregon. On three separate occasions I questioned him about this as dispatch did not have us booked as a “direct” shipment in their system. Each time I was told not to worry as the lady in dispatch was new and she was simply reading from a script. Since we had a full load, the truck would be heading directly to Oregon after they finished loading. In the end, our belongings went into a storage facility for five weeks before our move could be brokered to a long-distance hauler.
On the day of our move, the “dedicated truck” arrived half full of someone else’s belongings. The driver had to leave for 5 hours so that he could find a storage unit, so he could unload the other client’s belongings. When I questioned this, I was once again told by our sales rep not to worry as we had a dedicated shipment going directly to Oregon.
We asked the movers to pack up four or five pcs of artwork, plus my husband’s tools and all the electronics. All TVs simply had a single layer of “bubble wrap” and were tapped between two pieces of cardboard boxes. My husband’s tools were thrown into a wardrobe box with no protection. Many of his speakers and our two sound bars were simply thrown into the truck without any protection.
Five weeks later, on the date of delivery things got worst and not better. The driver informed me that he would need to disconnect his truck from the trailer and take it to the shop. He would only be gone for a couple of hours & would certainly be back before the movers finished unloading the truck. I was not happy with him leaving but he gave me no choice.
Our driver decided to hire two local men to unload our belongings. Before the driver left, he handed me cash, so I could pay the movers for him. Later I found out that the driver simply placed an add on Craig List.
My husband and I spent the entire afternoon helping the movers to unload our belongings and empty the trailer. Once the workers realized that the driver would not be back before the truck was unloaded, they became nervous about getting paid. I told them not to worry as I had their cash. However, once we found out that the driver only left me with $160.00, they told me that they would only work for 4 hours as they were told them were getting paid $20/hr. In the end, we agreed to cover their additional wages.
Seven hours later when the driver returned he refused to even speak with my husband and me. When I told him about all the missing items, I was told that it was not his problem as he did not load the truck. We also did not receive an inventory list on the delivery.
Our night ended with a visit from the State Police as the driver called 911 to report that his truck was vandalized and gave our address. Once the officer heard our story, he was very sympathetic to us especially considering that the “vandalized truck” and the driver were long gone. A police report was never filed.
I spoke with Interstate Relocation about the unloading and they did refund $500 to cover the additional costs for the workers.
However, our problems are still not over. We have lost more than 30 boxes/items, including skis, artwork, a tv, subwoofers, mattress, dresser, numerous boxes of clothing and household items etc. Not to mention everything that was damaged as boxes rolled off the truck.
We purchased moving insurance through a third-party company recommended by Interstate, however, our claim has been denied since Interstate Relocations Systems did not produce a Delivery Inventory.
I have been trying unsuccessfully for more than four weeks to get a delivery receipt, so I can file a claim. Finally, I was told today that Interstate Relocation System can not provide the documentation as they were not there for the unloading. They still don’t understand why an independent insurance company would want to see proof of non-delivery before paying out a claim.
So much for our professional movers!
We have lost thousands of dollars worth of belongings and Interstate Relocation is not willing to offer us any compensation. To add “insult to injury”, Interstate has been paid in full for their services as we were invoiced for the freight at the loading in Wilmington and not for the goods delivered. We even had to pay an additional $1,875 at the time of loading as they said we had 2,000 cubic feet of space. I have later found out that a standard 26’ box truck has a capacity of 1,711 cubic feet.
Interstate Relocation is certainly not a professional moving company. I have been asking to speak with the owners or a senior manager for weeks without any luck. When I asked for the name of the owner today, I was simply told to “Google It”. In my search to find the owner, I have also found that the mailing address for this company seems to be a UPS store in both Florida and Dallas.
I have never written a review before I just hope that no one else will ever have to go through this kind of experience.

  10. My move.

I moved from GA to NY. Before the guys loaded the truck my emails were always answered and the phone was always answered at customer service. Since then you can forget anyone talking to you about anything.
My belongings were literally thrown onto the truck. All but one piece of furniture was damaged and two were so bad I had to throw them out.
The guys were rude and bullied me into signing papers that upped my cost by $1800. They claim I lied about the number of pieces.I had claimed 253 items and they said they loaded over 300. They claim I had two more tables. They charged a bulk fee for an upright dresser and safe (14"x14") because they were heavy. Two guys picked up the dresser and one guy carried the safe. They charged me a bulk fee for my canoe that had already been figured in.
I received 193 items making the loss more than 107 items and
they have made no real effort to find them. Eight of those items are boxes of documents and research on an ongoing murder case. I immediately called the attorney who asked if there was evidence in any of those boxes. God I hope not. Evidence is not replaceable. All that research is not replaceable.
They offered me $70 for the loss of 107 items. When I protested I was told I have to prove the weight of each item and produce receipts of the cost of every item. That is the only way this will get reviewed. It is impossible to prove you lost each item. I don't know anyone who has receipts for the 120 books that are missing. This equals one empty bookcase. My grandchildrens framed pictures were gifts.
No matter what you do you cannot prove the weight of each container because no one weighs these things before shipping. And then they won't believe you lost it anyway. Prove it.
They refuse to disclose how they came up with that figure. This third party who has nothing to do with Interstate collects all the information regarding your complaint and then Interstate makes the decision as to what's fair to offer. I didn't know this and MovingClaims.net did not divulge that information.
The company that delivered my belongings in NY was not Interstate. They kept apologizing for the damaged furniture and boxes. Not their fault.
Someone opened two containers and things were missing. A locked briefcase was unlocked and one clasp left open.
I wouldn't hire these people to walk across the street and I would never recommend them for anything. If I ever have to move again I will get a container company. I will stand there and watch the guys load the container and then take the packaged steel lock and put it on myself. The only way I could possibly lose anything is if they lose the entire container. Highly unlikely.
I have protested the charges on my credit card. I sent them copies of everything including pictures of the damages.

  11. Terrible Office Service.

Everything started out great. The price was unbeatable. Then came moving day. Crew showed up at 3:30 pm when they were scheduled for 9 am on the first day. Then were scheduled to return around 9am the second day but couldn't show up till 6 pm. Both days the crew and I were up till 1 am. The 3rd and final day they showed up on time at 9 am and finished around 8 pm. I would recommend that the company ask their crews to do a better job cleaning up their trash before leaving.
On day 1 the foreman reviewed the estimate and said that it was way under and that Ryan under estimated the move size by half. So our great deal turned into double to cost, making a almost $10,000 move to $20,000 (Oh, but they offered to help us out and cut the crews costs and charge us ONLY $16,000). Once the moving crew go there they were fantastic and professional. They did the best they could to try and save on the moving expenses. The foreman wrapped all items and packed them himself. He and his crew were amazing and I can't say enough about that.
However, the office crew was not so amazing to say the least. When confronted about the cost they blamed us for not disclosing all furniture and boxes. When in fact we actually disclosed moving a outdoor playset that was on the moving estimate. We sold it prior to moving which should have reduced the costs. Then after discussing this situation with Jim; Ryan decided to actually call my family back to say "he was the victim" and "he will sleep well tonight" and "Good luck trying to win this". If I could recommend just the crew I would, but I will NEVER NEVER recommend this company, not even to move trash.

  12. No one calls us back.

We had the movers show up last Saturday. I was promised by Bryan that he would be with us all the way.. Once our stuff was loaded they raised the price by several thousand dollars, that we had no choice but to pay, now our contact person will not answer our calls the emails are being returned undeliverable.

    Please call us back.

  13. Great company.

I’ve moved a lot throughout my life with the military, so I knew what type of service I expected but I didn’t quite know how to find it for myself. I contacted Interstate Relocation Systems a few months prior to moving to ask some questions and see what they had to offer. The gentleman on the phone was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and at no point did I feel the pushy sales pitch I was getting from some of the other calls I received. I was comfortable knowing that they actually help to move a lot of military people as well. After speaking with my husband he still had some questions that they happily addressed. They worked with us on some different packing options to fit in the budget that we could afford and were honest with us whether we liked it or not. They are no nonsense company and if you are looking for an honest company this is it. They kept their word till the day of delivery. Great company to work with through and through!

  14. Good job!

The crew just left my home and I couldn’t wait to pull out my laptop to praise their services. My move was no easy task in my eyes and they made it look effortless. Interstate Relocation Systems is certainly on their “A” game. They very polite and respectful and handled my furniture as if it were their own. Any concerns I might have had leading up to this day were quickly dissolved. I even received a call from customer service to check up and make sure that I was happy with how things were going. I’m blown away at how well everything went today, they even wore little booties to keep my floor from getting dirty! This is a great start to a new chapter in my life and I am happy to have Interstate Relocation Systems be a part of it!

  15. Nj-mt.

Interstate Relocation Systems was the company I decided to move with after narrowing down my choices. Everything went smoothly, they were very prompt and the crew really hustled to get everything done in a timely fashion. I was concerned with only having my freight elevator reserved for a few hours but they got it done with time to spare. My price went up a little bit because I wasn’t able to sell some of the items I had intended to, but I guess that was to be expected. At the end of the move is was worth every penny.
