Horrible people and services.
I had such a terrible experience with the moving company. They sent me two unprofessional Chinese guys who were yelling at each other during the whole time. (Maybe they were talking normally) At first, I had to pick up a bed at some other place which was a couple of blocks away from my new place. The bed was a queen sized bed and it couldn't get out of the room easily. They started yelling at each other and finally decided to break down the bed, but they were too lazy to do it. They took out one part of the frames and started dragging the rest of the frames (they were U shaped then). At that very moment, the frames broke and they were yelling at each other again.I asked them to take them apart before they broke another part, and then they blamed me for breaking the bed frame. "You said we should take them out without taking them apart! Do you still want the frames because they will not be able to be put together. Why don't you leave them here" [EDIT]??!! I had to pick up the bed from the place and I was so upset about their attitude.I called the company to complain. They said "We are not a furniture company, we are a moving company" and they wanted me to sign the agreement paper after they broke my furniture..And then they walked off their job for almost an hour.Also they were walking around with their shoes on on my new clean carpet. I asked them to take the shoes off. Guess what they said to me. They said, "It's okay if you want us to take our shoes off but if we do it's going to take time and cost money. " I was left speechless with the PROFESSIONAL MOVERS!!My old place, new place and the place where I picked up the bed are all just a couple of blocks away.It took them 5.5 hours to complete the whole moving and charged me over $627 without a receipt..I swear it's true. NEVER use this moving company.. they definitely charge way too much for their terrible services.
First time - perfect time.
It's my first time using this company because when I called my previous movers, they were not available on the day that I should be moving. Its important that the move should done on Saturday so I gave them a shot and booked. When the movers came, they checked everything before they started working. They were fast and the move only took 2 and a half hour. All went well, great job. Kudos!
Excellent Moving company!
Hi, I wanted to share my experience with this company. They've moved all my stuff in profesional way without any damage to the furniture and my old apt. Honestly this is the first time I've moved without any damage. WAY TO GO! I had some special boxes that I wanted special attention to (since they were full of sentimental value things) and as soon as I mentioned it to them. They stop everything they were doing and made a plan to process those boxes with extra care. They placed them carefully in the truck and made sure that nothing would happend to them. I really appreciated all what they've done for me within the short time frame I gave them. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs movers! 100% satisfied! 1000's of thanks to you and your employees! Plus they brought me a coffee lol .

Very professional moving service. Metropolitan was great for my move. As stressful as moving into a new city is, the movers and the communication I received from the employees was truly great and eased a lot of my stress, the service was very reliable
Really I have experienced an outstanding service in case of moving my residential furniture to my new workplace. It was more than 600 kilometers away!.The Metropolitan Movers has handed over all of my furniture very securely and in promised time. What I appreciated most about Metropolitan Movers was the clear communication. I had to have some last minute changes, and it was no problem calling and quickly rescheduling. I'm glade to the Metropolitan Movers because of their awesome moving service.

Metropolitan Movers have blown my expectations out of the water! I was doing research for a while prior to my move because I have quite a few very important, valuable souvenirs and memorabilia that require delicate handling. I wanted to ensure I made the best decision possible and I will have to say every step of the way was a pleasure.
The movers took extra precautions with my items and went above and beyond by providing me more security and safety double confirming everything was exactly how I needed it when it came to transportation and delivery.
I am extremely satisfied knowing I can trust these movers in the future with their excellent on time service and polite and careful movers. .
Absolutely disgusted with the service.
I wanted to write a review to let everyone know how disgusted I am with this company. Some of the guys are very unprofessional. They were late arriving to move us. They did not send any conformation about their terms & conditions. We moved from a one bedroom and a den condo and it took 3 hours to move us. We had very minimal furniture. The guys did not know like they knew what they were doing. Took a very long time to load and unload the truck. Scratched the walls of our new place and damaged some belongings. And after all of that asked for a tip. A family member used them before and only paid $400 to move her belongings from a house in Richmond hill to Newmarket. I spent $350. To move 5-10 minutes away. When I had called to complain about the service I was given. I was hang up on. Told that it was in the email that I never received that I have to pay for the full 3 hours even if it takes a shorter time etc. And told there was nothing that could be done for me. Which is funny because the other worker I spoke with while this move was happening said because of all of these problems he can discount the move. And when he heard that his workers were being paid in the background he hang up the phone and even after I tried to call back. They ignored my calls. Now normally I would not think about not paying someone when they have provided a service for me but if I had known that this was the type of service I would be getting. I have to say I would have thought differently. Please do use this company for anything. They are fraudulent and not worth the hassle.

Awesome company!
This is a great company! They are prompt and professional. They handled my things with care and make quick work of getting everything in and out. I highly recommend using them if you are considering moving. Much better than other companies I have used in the past! Plus they’re affordable. They had to travel hundreds of miles, but made it very easy on me by not charging me an arm and a leg. Very satisfied! Will use again in the future if I ever move again.

"Metropolitan movers" is the best company for moving stuffs safely from my experience. The movers are well skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Even their professionalism left me pleased. My experience with this moving company is terrific. I hired them a couple of times, and every time they did their best. They never damaged my stuffs which are exceptional. They are safe movers and reliable to deal with.

Okay I wanted to say that many companies have given me their service and some have even damaged my furniture. Now that that's happened I usually look into every company I pay to move for me. I am not saying you have to offer perfect service, but at least try not to damage my stuff. This company did that for me it made sure that my goods weren't damaged and didn't make me go through a years worth of paper work. What can I say, they delivered what need to be delivered. Simple and straight to the point. Loved it!

Metropolitan Movers did an excellent job when I was relocating across the city. The staff and movers were both very polite and helpful when it came to the questions I had regarding the shipping costs and the time the move would take, making the whole process a lot easier and easing my stress and worries about. Everything was delivered in perfect condition which was due to the exceptional job that the team did in order to prevent my items and goods from being even slightly damaged. Should I ever need to move again within the area this team would be my go-to choice.

Hello all, I just wanted to tell everyone who reads these things my experiences with Metropolitan Movers. Moving around Canada is difficult at times, and my daughter made no exceptions. Moving from Alberta to ontario was important as she was relocated for her job. We had a 2 bedroom house that needed moved. These guys went above and beyond to help us from the time I called to inquire to the actual pick up and drop off. they were very courteous and respected our needs and importance of the move to us. they made it a point to be readily available to us via phone as well as updates as to where they were at every step of the way as wee inquired it. I highly recommend these folks to anyone needing moved in Canada. you wont be dissapointed.

I hired this company to move some stuff for me, after a friend introduced them to me. My friend had told me about their quality service, and excellence in delivery and customer service. Infact, I met them the way they were described. The service was just too perfect. I love these guys for their honesty. I will surely hire them again. My brother lives in Toronto and was going through a rough time (break-up) a few months ago that necessitated his move on pretty short notice. I was there to help him out with all of this, including packing up his home and finding a moving company. We picked Metropolitan Movers because it was a local move and they could accommodate our schedule. The lady that gave us the quote and information was very friendly and the moving crew showed up on time on the moving day. All of my brother's stuff was moved into his new place in about 6 hours, as promised, and we haven't seen a scratch or dent on anything. Great local move experience for us.
