  1. Move from Chicago to Florida

    The team was very professional and courteous to my concerns and personal belongings. John, Alex, and Jose were on time, efficient, professional which made my move experience great. I would definitely use them again.

  2. Don't be a fool like me

    I feel totally stupid for not reading and heeding these other reviews. I normally always check reviews but trusted moving staffers. It was the worst move of my life with so much damage I cannot even list it here. Their insurance has so many loop holes and won't cover a thing. The loaders could have and pretty much just threw my furniture on the truck without using the protective blankets etc I provided and then moving staffers takes zero responsibility. Its a joke. And not a funny one when it comes to your furniture being deeply gouged, table legs broken off, upholstery sliced, quality wrought iron bent. DO NOT USE MOVING STAFFERS.

  3. Moving Roulette

    They do not vet or train their third-party movers. We had the most damage of any move we have ever had (we've been moved professionally three times prior). Their insurance does not cover a thing. And to make matters worse, I was made very uncomfortable by the team leader, an unprofessional older man who wouldn’t stop making comments about my body and what good shape I was in. A hole was made in our new leather 4k sectional because they packed a sharp chair leg right up next to it. It makes me very angry that I had planned to wrap the whole sectional in plastic and they told me not to because they would protect it with blankets. It received many scratches. I DO know why they wanted to use blankets though. They charge 20$ for a basically disposable blanket and were happy to use A LOT more than we had provided so they could charge us for an extra $400. SURPRISE! And they didn’t even help! My solid wood beautiful dining room table had so much stacked that the table is cracked. The top of my dryer is broken loose because of all the weight put on it. Several smaller things were broken and I have not unpacked yet. I would gladly have paid for more space if it was needed to keep my belongings safe. I would have wrapped everything and supervised the loading if I had known they were not a professional moving company (would not have hired them). Instead I have 10k in damage to my property. The original quote sounded good but it took them probably twice as long as they estimated with a huge blanket fee and now I need to buy new furniture and dryer. NEVER AGAIN!

  4. Upack, Movingstaffers and Aaron Glide

    We moved from the PNW 2800 miles away. Aaron Glide was referred to us by Movingstaffers.com. who were referrd by Upack. We described in detail what was to be moved for a full service move for 5k just for the packing service. They broke furniture and dumped a shelf full of electronics into a box without wrapping anything. Other boxes were packed properly but others were not. Very inconsistent. It depended entirely on the person doing the packing. They were told there was an attic full of stuff to move.

    First they said it could be packed in one day. Then they showed up and said 2 days. We had already scheduled the trailer to be picked up the next day. We had to scramble to reschedule then several hours later they called to say 14 movers were freed up and could come and pack it all in one day. Wonderful. My son stayed back to ready the house to sell. After the trailer was delivered 11 days later, he went up to the attic to look for an item we couldn't find. He found a large moving box that had been packed full using Aaron Glide's moving box, their paper and their orange bubble wrap in the attic. It had never been taken down. When my daughter did the walkthrough, she asked if the attic had been moved and was told "YES". Now Movingstaffers.com are telling us no one is allowed in the attic due to injury liability issues. Reasonable. However, the movers were asked point blank if the attic had been moved and when they were told yes my daughter saw no reason to haul out a ladder again to go look. Would you? Movingstaffers are even claiming that maybe WE told them not to move it but to leave it and use it as an excuse to get a discount later. In that box were the Christmas stockings of her children with their names on them, one of their high school year books, framed photos of a grandmother who died a few years ago, her husband's first guitar. I asked the agent at Movingstaffers if he thought these were items we would have intentionally left behind to get some kind of discount. It was the most absurd excuse I've heard from a mover. Aaron Glide refuses to accept our phone calls. Movingstaffers will get their photos of the items WRAPPED AND BOXED that they requested. All I asked was for some help in a resolution but what I got were very lame and unprofessional excuses and found 2 more companies unwilling to accept responsibility for themselves. I have owned my own business in the past and have had to "man up" and accept responsibility for the actions of my employees. We are now looking at probably another $1000 to ship the items that were left. My daughter even tipped these 14 packers $300 because she is a generous tipper and Scott at Movingstaffers claimed it was because she was satisfied with the service. He neglected to mention the fact that the movers lied to her face when they said they moved the attic. It was packed, but it wasn't put on the trailer. They even asked over the phone what rooms needed to be moved and she told them clearly there was an attic. Not over the phone nor face to face when questioned did anyone from either company say attics were off limits. We certainly would have moved all the items ourselves. We had already packed quite a bit ourselves so an attic would not have been that much more.

    I would like to see one of these companies reach out but no one ever calls us back. We have to initiate all the calls. I would never recommend either company to anyone I consider a friend.

  5. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

    Find an alternative to Moving Staffers for your move. U-Pack is a great option, but they recommend Moving Staffers and they are TERRIBLE!! They contract with local moving companies and take ZERO responsibility if your belongings are damaged (which ours were). The moving crew arrived 5 hours late and were loading the truck until 10:15pm at night (in complete darkness). The result was broken furniture, damaged mattresses, holes in a rug, grease on our couch (where they loaded a garage work bench). Moving Staffers has pathetic terms and conditions that absolves them of any responsibility and puts it all on you. We had thousands of dollars in damage and they offer us $150 as "good faith". Seriously find another option and double, triple check their terms and conditions and insurance of the contract. Moving is stressful enough.

  6. My Move from Monroe to Asheville, NC

    A great experience, my belongings were wrapped carefully. The guys were careful not to let my cat out. When it was time to unload, the crew went over and above to get everything done as quickly and smoothly as possible. Very hard working young men. They made a stressful situation go as easy as it could be. Highly recommend!

  7. Bad experience :(

    Moving staffers messed up our order (after we confirmed 3x and had in writing). They sent 2 movers instead of 3, and half the blankets we ordered (but charged us for more). We are just so disappointed, it was an expensive service. The movers they sub-contracted said the communication was very poor. There was also 0 assessment on how much stuff we had in relation to the container space, and we were left with large amount of items that didn't fit!

  8. Customer service needs to be improved

    I called to get information about my pending service, but when I was transferred to the appropriate local service provider, they answered the phone without indicating what business I had reached. I asked if it was Moving Staffers and the response was "No", so I hung up and called again. As soon as we were connected, I was accused of being rude because I hung up while they were still speaking! They assumed I hung up without any factual information to support that conclusion and I informed them of this, got yelled at and they hung up on me. I expect any business that just says "hello" to incoming calls would get a lot of hang-ups, but accusing me of doing so with rudeness as the intention if unacceptable when there are so many other providers to chose from. With phone service this terrible, I can't imagine what would happen if I needed more than clarification.

    Wow, the lead packer is talented!All three movers did excellent work, and we're conscientious and fast!

  10. Terrible experience!

    The loaders did not secure the load, did not wrap the foot of my bed, and disregarded the labels of “fragile” and “heavy”. They ruined my antique hand-carved cherrywood bed, so that it could not be assembled by the unloaders. They caused the marble surround of my fireplace to shatter into pieces. They broke a mirror in my dresser, and shattered an heirloom porcelain candelabra. Do not use this company. The only reason I gave them any stars at all was the excellent service That I received by Chelsea, their CS person.

  11. The worst! Lied about insurance coverage!

    Spent almost $24,000 with this company and PODs. They told me everything was covered and be fully replaced if there was any damage! Ruined my sofa $10,000 they said they would give me $100 for it! Destroyed my carpet and my hardwood floors 2 doors and scraped my wood shutters! Took a 2 1/2 hour lunch! Total damage was around $10,000! Stay away from this company! You’ll regret it line me! Now I am broke! With a broken sofa!

  12. The Worse Company Ever. Stay Away!!

    This is the worse company ever. They under estimate everything so they could charge more at the end and bill your card on file!! It would have been better to use a bigger reputable company! I would never use this company again and regret that I didn't see these reviews earlier. DONT let PODS recommend as they get should vet their recommendations better!

  13. Worst.

    This company only hirer if you feel like getting screwed! Damage walls , glassware, furniture , floors, and I mean inside and outside of my condo, also a 27000 dollar ring got legs and walked away. Not only are they the WORST movers and leave your place pig pen! Please before HIRING then call me Alan McGregor cell 772-332-2742 Wonder about iPod they recommenced them Quote not what they charge.

  14. Worst Ever.

    Worst company to even think about hiring for moving. They damaged our hardwood floor. They damaged several items during the move. Their compensation to cover damaged items was pennies on the dollar. There is a 3 inch scratch on a TV screen. That had to have been put there intentionally. They want to give me $40 dollars to cover the damage.

    We have a Thomas Kinkade print. They frame was damaged.

    Again, they want to pay pennies to cover the repair.

    We have a bedroom dresser where the mirror frame was damaged beyond repair. Pennies on the dollar to replace something that is irreplaceable.

    I would avoid using Moving Staffers and shipping with Pods.

  15. Don't ever use them!

    They charged me an additional $200 for movers that left the site to go eat lunch. Their customer service rep was extremely smug about the additional charge, stating that they would send a credit collector after me if I stopped payment on the charge, even after I explained the situation.
