Our move.
I have nothing but good things to say about National Van Lines. Aaron Bacon was caring and made me feel as important as family. He emailed me almost daily with great advice and updates. He was kind and always available by email or phone for even the most trivial questions. Lori was also kind and helpful with my delivery questions. Victor and Eduardo who picked up our furniture were friendly, caring and professional. They treated our belongings with care and carefully wrapped everything. The delivery was made on time as promised and unfortunately I have forgotten the names of those who delivered. They were also caring and professional. I have heard horror stories about movers but nothing of the kind happened here. All belongings were numbered and categorized as to content. When they were delivered I was given a check off sheet to ensure that everything was accounted for. The delivery men also seemed to have a comprehensive knowledge of what was on the truck and to whom it belonged. I have only one word to say. AWESOME!
Long distance move.
National was a great company to work with. Aaron Bacon in particular was excellent. I needed last minute arrangements and he was able to accommodate and make all arrangements in less than 24 hours. Before that I was planning to use a different company that kept messing up p the details. The crew that loaded was good. The crew that unloaded, Mike and Dan, were very efficient and were done quickly. I would highly recommend them.
Our move.
We moved across town in Monroe, Michigan with a crew from National Van Lines' office in Romulus, Michigan on October 15, 2016. Everyone at National with whom we came into contact was friendly, professional, courteous, and seemed eager to served the needs of the customer. Jim Simpson, the salesman who helped us plan the move in advance, knew his job well, provided pertinent information, and answered all questions. Our crew consisted of Craig, Jeremy, and Jim, and we've never seen anyone work so hard! These men were obviously well-trained in every aspect of their job. They treated all of our belongings with great care as if they were their own, and sought input from us throughout the day in how to do their job in a completely satisfactory way. They moved us quickly and efficiently. I will have no hesitation in using this company again, and I will give them my highest recommendation to others planning a move.
Eased my mind!
After my mother's death and emptying of her property, I moved family items from her place in Wilmette, IL to Albuquerque, NM where I live. Aaron Bacon was my contact person from the start, and he went above and beyond to keep in constant contact, answering all of my questions, address my concerns, and assure me of pick up and delivery dates (since I had to be in IL, then back in NM for loading then delivery). The moving crew (led by Dan) was kind, thorough, careful, and polite. They were a hardworking group and even managed to deliver my items to NM TWO DAYS after loading in IL. Amazing. Honestly, the move could not have been much easier. Talk about easing my mind. On top of it, only one lamp shade was damaged (due to my poor boxing and a heavy box having been set on top of that one). Additionally, when I emailed Aaron to point out a discrepancy between the quote and bill (originally we thought we'd need some help packing), he immediately addressed it and followed up on the refund. Couldn't ask for me. Thank you Aaron, Dan, and Crew, and thank you National Van Lines!
Our Move From New York to Las Vegas.
I was concerned about having my furniture and belongings being driven across country, but the minute I met our driver Jim I knew that our stuff was in good hands. He made me feel very comfortable as soon as he walked in our door, and when I watched him and his helper take my furniture out of the house, and they were being very careful with everything, I knew I didn't have to worry at all, and my furniture and belongs were in very good hands. Everything arrived in Las Vegas on time and in the condition it left New York! Marsha Stegall was also very helpful! No matter how many times I called her before the pick up date, she always answered my questions and calmed my fears. My items were treated like they belonged to our driver Jim, and for that we will always be grateful! I would whole heartedly recommend National Van Lines to anyone who is making a big move. Thank you Marsha and Jim!
Best Movers Ever!
National Van Lines provided the best service ever. I've done several long distance moves due to being military. This move was personal and an out of pocket expense. I requested a quote and was immediately contacted by Marsha Stegall. Marsha was patient and answered all my questions and eased any concerns. The movers packed my household items and valuables as if they were their own. I received the same treatment once my items were delivered. Most importantly the estimated quote I was given was what I was charged. Couldn't ask for better customer service and treatment of my household items!

Cross Country Move.
I think National Van Lines is very professional and friendly. The movers were careful and considerate and took great care to ensure that my furniture arrived in good shape at its destination. I very much recommend this company.
A Great Move!
We have used National for three cross-country moves and this most recent one was by far the best experience. With the exception of one difficult move from Connecticut to Chicago (the third party that National used in CT for our first move with them was not a great company) our moves have always been solid with National. However, this time we had particularly great people on our team. Aaron Bacon, our representative, was always quick to respond to our emails and phone calls. He even responded on the weekends. He had a record of our previous move and was able to estimate the weight instead of having a representative come to the house. The estimate was just below the final weight, making the financial aspect of the move easier to digest once we received the bill. We did get an estimate from a different well-known moving company and they over-estimated the weight by almost 5,000 pounds! National has the best prices and some of the best customer service with representatives like Aaron Bacon. He checked in with us prior to, during, and after the move. Even though we are experienced movers, he gave us the peace of mind that National "had our backs."
Our driver, Jose Gonzalez, was by far the best driver we have ever been assigned through National. He and his crew were kind, efficient, careful, and professional. He arrived exactly on time to our house in New Jersey and 15 minutes early to our house in Illinois. They padded the walls and staircase ceilings in both houses, they covered the floors with plastic and canvas tarps, and they carefully wrapped all of our furniture. We have a grand piano and Jose knew exactly how to move it. It arrived in pristine condition just like our furniture. They helped us set everything up and even moved furniture around when we didn't like the initial layout. So much of the moving experience is attributed to the quality of the driver, and Jose was outstanding in every way. We hope everyone has the same positive experience that we had with National. After three moves with them, it seems like the experience boils down to the representative--his/her professionalism and concern for the customer's experience--and the drivers since they are the ones who hire the other movers. Flawless move!
We have never hired a moving company in our 41 years of marriage and it wasn't without trepidation that we settled on National. It was their reputation, reviews, and ultimately price that sealed the deal for us. And now, three days after our move from Florida to North Carolina, we can say how overwhelmingly happy we are with our decision. Alex and Kevin were thoroughly professional and charming and they picked up and delivered on time and in perfect condition. We felt like family was moving us and we couldn't be more pleased!

Fantastic Service from start to finish! Marsha was so accommodating from the initial phone call until the final follow up. We were under a tight time frame when we called and she was able to take care of everything to make it all happen. We were assigned a wonderful, competent and service orientated driver, named Chris. He too went above and beyond to get us moved out of our old house and to our new house in an expedient, friendly manner. We highly recommend National Van Lines for local or cross-country moves!
Interstate Move from CA to GA.
Terrific Customer Service!! I moved from California to Georgia in 2015 and my experience with National Van Lines was great. (They also moved me from New York to California three years prior.) Agent Aaron Bacon made the process very easy. He is very patient and will answer all questions you may have. He explains the whole process from beginning to end so there are no surprises after delivery. The Driver - Jeff - was very professional and efficient, and took great care to inventory all my items and deliver them without damage. I highly recommend this company and if I ever move long distance again, National Van Lines is my choice!

Move from va to fla.
Moving my mom's things that I inherited from Va to Fla. I called a company in Fredericksburg,Va and was referred to Aaron Bacon. He called promptly and helped me set up an acceptable schedule. Truck arrived when promised. Crew was thorough courteous careful. Aaron kept in touch throughout. Items arrived in Florida when promised in good shape. Crew was very helpful with placing pieces in my home. They even helped to move things out to make room for delivered items. Positive experience during a difficult time for our family.
