    Ever since I was young I had to move all over the country from my parents being in the military so I have used multiple movers over the years. This time I had to pay for everything on my own and do everything on my own and move across country for a new job. I spoke with many companies and the only company out there that seemed to be genuine in the knowledge of the industry was presidential. I spoke with Ken and he helped me set everything up and get the movers out to my house on time to get everything packed up and moved and delivered on time as well. Thank you very much Ken for everything you did.

  2. Terrible service.

    I rarely leave terrible reviews however, the business model of this company is awful. My first point of contact was with Ethan, a very nice gentleman, explaining why Presiendtial is superior to other moving companies. I was told we would have a 3 to 4 day turn around delivery time with an estimate of $5700 for the move. When the movers arrived we were told our furniture was misquoted and we had to pay an additional $3000 dollors (this was after the furniture was packed and on the truck). In addition, the movers did not bring a large enough truck and left us with a Uhaul trailers worth of boxes to take with us. I attempted to contact Ethan several times during the movers transaction however, he would no longer return my calls and has yet to respond any further.

    I called when I arrived to Tennessee from Florida to enquire the delivery date and was told it could be up to 18 days for delivery. This was vastly different than the promises made when trying to acquire my business of a 3 to 4 day turn around time!

    After multiple attempts to get a hold of a supervisor or anyone who could give me a delivery date, I was finally told my furniture would be here today and at the latest tomorrow.

    Today I called a total of 4 times, waiting on hold for 20 min each time only to be hung up on. When I finally reached Jess she told me my furniture did not ship and she would call me Thursday with an update! We have been without furniture for 2 weeks. I do not have my suits to start work at the beginning of the week and I will have to purchase new school clothes for my children due to this delay. I asked to speak with dispatch however, Jess stated they do not take calls. I again asked to speak with a supervisor however she is unable to transfer a call to a supervisor.

    I am now at the point that I will report my furniture stolen due to the lack of confidence that my furniture has not been lost! This business model is not customer service based and they have no regard for the hardship these delays without communication place on families. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I wanted to wait to send the review until I received my furniture however, I am not confident I will receive it at all at this point!

    Overall the process that we went through was great. Nick was polite and quick to get us picked up at the last minute because another company canceled on us. The 3 men that showed up took everything apart and put it back together. I would use Presidential again if my company decides to relocate me again.

  5. Where is our shipment? Picked up September 23rd due October 2nd.

    Our shipment was picked up September 23rd from Zephyr Cove NV. The Presidential Mover people did a great job on pick-up & packing and they told us that it would first go to Sacramento and then would be re-loaded on a larger truck direct to Greenwood SC. They also told us that we should expect delivery on October 2nd.

    On September 28th Presidential Moving called and told us that we should obtain immediately a Money Order for the balance of payment, and that the shipment it was on it's way from NV (why not Sacramento?). We were told to expect arrival soon. We called Presidential Moving on the 30th September to confirm that we have a Money Order and would like a status update. We were told that the person we had been coordinating with had since left the company and that someone would call us back soon.

    Since October 1st we have been calling Presidential Moving daily (sometimes twice daily and logging all calls) trying to get status on delivery.

    We have been passed on to many different people (8 at the last count) in dispatch, customer service and even the sales departments. They seem sympathetic but they cannot tell us when we will get our shipment. Responses (many recorded) state: "we will get back to you" , or "someone will call you back" (NOBODY has ever called us back in nearly 2 months!!).

    In the last 2 weeks we finally found someone permanent to answer the phone, Jess (who genuinely seems to be trying to help) and he states "Dispatch says it has left Nevada. We will call you back" (but Nobody has called us back).

    What is so frustrating and aggravating is that it us that has to make the calls, sometimes 2-3 times each day. We have never had anyone in 2 months call and either apologize for any delay, or tell us where our shipment is actually physically located. We made the drive from California/Nevada border to Greenwood SC on September 26th, stopping every day, in 3.5 days

    We are so frustrated living from our suitcases for 2 months. We survived Thanksgiving with the help of friends and relatives. Winter is now coming so we are having to buy extra clothing and other things.

    Our assumption now (because nobody has ever called us or emailed us to tell us what is actually happening) is that the shipment is lost. My wife is on the edge of a nervous breakdown and frequently cries, missing our personal effects, photo albums, pictures, books, all our clothing, family heirloom dishes, furniture etc.
    We have a craft business together which we now cannot operate until the shipment arrives. I am missing my tools so I cannot work on needed repairs to our house.

    If we do not hear from Presidential by the end of Monday, 27th November, (almost 2 months after the Sacramento Office promised delivery date!), we are contacting the Department of Transportation and will file an official complaint. We will then have to contact our 1,000 plus 'Facebook'; 'LinkedIn'; 'Twitter' and 'Instagram' friends to flood the internet.
    Maybe this message will go viral and then trigger somebody at Presidential actually contact us and tell us where our shipment is located and will be delivered.

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CAN ANYONE AT PRESIDENTIAL MOVING CALL US AND GIVE US AN HONEST ANSWER ON OUR SHIPMENT? WE ARE DESPERATE FOR HELP..

  6. Unreliable.

    Here is what happened so far and I am begging for them to deliver my stuff and they haven’t even scheduled my delivery yet. They keep giving me a runaround, I am wasting all day calling and being on hold
    1. They will lie thousand ways to hike up the price. Presidential moving gave me a binding estimate based on 2400 cubic feet. My stuff is in a storage (10*30*8). They called during the day of pickup saying it is 2900 cubic feet and tried to trick me to increase the price. I confirmed with storage unit supervisor the dimensions of the unit and told them it is mathematically impossible it be more than 2400 cubic feet. Finally, after putting this review and much bickering and wasting hours of my time, they agreed to keep it 2400 cubic feet.
    2. They left two of my boxes full of my belongings in the storage. One of them was opened. Now they are not responding. [NAME EDIT] talked very smooth before I paid him a deposit. But now I can't reach him or anybody else. I kept calling them but nobody responded. Nobody contacted me for one and half day until I posted my review. After I posted a review, [NAME EDIT] calls me and gives me NO explanation as to why they left my two boxes behind in the storage unit and why they didn't inform me and asks me to file a claim. How can you overlook two boxes in a single storage unit (single room)? [NAME EDIT] told me, he cannot deliver my boxes to me as he is not sure if those are my items as I was not present there. Really? Storage Company was nice enough to send me the pictures of those boxes in the storage. I keep calling claim department and been on hold and nobody answered. I conveyed this to [NAME EDIT] and he doesn't respond. They opened my sealed box without my permission and that box is not full. It seems like the truck driver deliberately left my two boxes behind as I refused to agree when they jacked up the price on the day of pick up. After 2 weeks of bickering, they send me the claims form. I paid $160 for UPS to pick up my two boxes and hoping this scam of a company will pay me back
    3. Also, Presidential moving changed the original binding estimate to add load/unload fee, which they told me is an included service before I signed up with them. It is explicitly listed as included service in the binding estimate. Now they want to charge me separately for that. I have been told my stuff is in a warehouse until I pay them what they claiming. After much bickering they got rid of this fee.
    4. They charged me $600 for packing even though everything was packed except for few items that were too big to go into a box likes shelves. They try to scam you every possible way

    6. [NAME EDIT] promised me to deliver my stuff in 7 to 10 days, now they show me the contract fine print that it will take 30 days. [NAME EDIT] specifically said that unless something goes wrong, he will deliver in 10 days. We are paying double for the hotel and the rental house just waiting for our stuff. I keep calling and begging to just schedule my stuff and they keep giving me a runaround.
    7. I will send a certified written letter to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move).

  7. Job well done.

    The entire move went great. The moment I spoke to Alex, I knew that Presidential was the company I wanted to move us. My whole ranch home was moved in one day, which I never thought would be possible. The 5 movers that filled the 2 trucks with all our stuff were so great. I am thrilled that we went with Presidential and I will always recommend them to all my friends and co workers. We all move a lot and I finally found a trusting company.

    The entire service was good. The moving coordinator was smart, kind, and very honest. Every question that I had she answered. Jen you deserve 5 stars. The movers were an hour late on the day of delivery because of weather but that’s not my fault so that’s the reason for the 4 stars. I still recommend presidential to my friends and family. I was just a little bitter about the weather holding up my delivery.

  9. Jury is still out.

    Like others, called around and chose this company, Spoke with Mark several times prior to move. Move date is for 11/12. Guys showed up at 3pm. I asked why so late a start. They said they had a big move prior and had to get some sleep. OK guys did a grate job packing and storing a 10x10x8 storage unit, but now its dark and had one more load to pack. Arrived at my apartment and began the same process of packing and loading. So far so good, right? Now I'm told we are at our allotted space, and what do I want to do with the remainder of my stuff which is in the middle of the street, now its about 11:15pm.and I have no other options but to continue loading the truck.(if the pick up was earlier I could have other options).
    Price jumped up from $4383.75 to $7216.48. Day before Thanksgiving and my things are still in storage 10 days later, Not ready to rate them just yet still hovering around average until my things get here. PS. my movers were from Poland. So what! Happy thanksgiving.

    The service that was provided was wonderful whether it was on the phone with Amber or it was with the 3 movers that showed up ON TIME. I am completely satisfied with all the work that was performed. Thank you Presidential for taking care of my move.

  11. On time movers.

    This was by far the best experience that I have ever been through. Moving has been a constant factor because of playing baseball. My teams always took care of the movers and this time I had to do it alone. I spoke with Ashley who was honest and reliable. The 3 movers that showed up were phenomenal and on time, which is a very big deal to me. They handled everything with care and all my stuff was delivered in a timely fashion and in the same condition it was picked up. Thanks a bunch Presidential!!

    I just received my stuff , I want to tell everybody that it was the best moving experience in my life! It was my 5th move and this company did everything just perfect . Jeff from Customer support was very polite and helpful during the whole move. Pick up guys did a fantastic job, their packing skills are amazing! Thank you again Presidential.

    I was very good moving experience for me and my family. My salesperson Andre was very nice and explained me everything, even how to prepare my stuff before my movers arrived. Anna from customer service was very helpful! I paid 250 more for additional packing, but it was very professional! In general I really satisfied! Thank you guys.

    Usually I don’t write reviews, but this experience was perfect! The Presidential Moving crew did an amazing job! Everybody from Sales to Suctomer support was extremely professional! My pick up team with foreman John was pro! Brandy from customer support helped me a lot and supported during the whole move!

  15. Just horrible - run from this company.

    Where to begin? My price went from $2100 to over $2800 because I was over my cubic feet. When I look in the truck they have done such a horrible job packing that there is literally three feet at the top over the entire truck that is empty!! I tried calling 'Nick' to discuss this and still five days later, over 100 calls to him and no answer or call back. The day after the pack a horribly rude woman named Maria called, screamed at me and berated me. At delivery it was 250 cubic feet less than they tried to charge me.

    Nick assured me my belongings would be to my location within 6 days. On day six and a representative informed me my stuff was in a warehouse somewhere in the original state - over 1100 miles away. Called repeatedly and no answer. Have requested to speak to a supervisor 3 times and no luck.

    My belongings did finally arrive 10 days late. Government officials had to be involved to finally get my belongings delivered.

    Please save yourself the headache, stress and anxiety. Use a different company!
