I recently completed a complicated, one-way move from Florida to Georgia. After arriving in ATL, I compiled a list of movers and went about calling each business to determine who I should hire. After speaking with RMC Movers I knew there was no reason to contact anyone else. From the onset of the call "Yvette" was courteous and extremely knowledgeable of their products and services. Everyone on their staff was professional and personable. The movers carefully protected my furniture and handled my property as if it were their own. Reasonably priced and extremely efficient, RMC Movers is now my go to company. No one enjoys moving, but RMC removed the burden and stress and facilitated my move with ease.

Just a few days ago I moved to a new apartment complex. Tyson and his team were GREAT! Very respectful. Worked HARD. And made the entire process of moving a bit easier. I wasn't sure what to expect from RMC, but Lamar and his team (Go Team Tyson!) proved that they are as good as what their reviews say. I will definitely use them again (not for a while I hope.
Local Move.
RMC Movers were punctual in arriving at our home despite heavy Atlanta traffic. They were careful in looking over the job before starting to move things around. There was a complete inventory made of the items to be moved. Even the very large items were carefully wrapped to prevent damage. The unloading at the destination was done carefully with no damage. The entire job was done very efficiently and the cost was reasonable.
Excellent Professional Movers.
I recently used RMC for the second time. The first time was a whole house move, and the second time was only a few heavy items. Each time I've used RMC, the movers have been professional and courteous, they have always made sure my belongings are wrapped sufficiently; to not only protect the furniture, but walls and doorways as well. RMC has always had competitive rates and excellent communication from scheduling to moving day. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone looking for movers no matter how big or small the job.
Recent move.
I moved from an apartment into my new home and RMC movers handled everything. The driver Andrew and his crew did an outstanding job from start to finish! They arrived on time and got right to work. They were respectful of our property and took great care in moving our items. There were some tight corners in the new house, and the crew did a great job maneuvering the furniture into place. I would highly recommend RMC Movers.
Great moving experience.
I contacted RMC Mover two months and a half before our actual moving. After comparing several movers and due to my frequent moving experiences, my most concern is that are there any hidden fees behind Lamar's quote. I double checked this with Lamar for three or four times. Lamar assured to me that this would be a flat fee, no hidden cost. I then chose partial packing package.
On the scheduled packing day, there was a minor episode. Yet Tyson and his team handled this well. On the following loading day, Tyson, Luis and their team helped us a lot. They loaded the stuff onto the truck on time. On the scheduled day of delivery, Tyson and Luis arrived early and handled everything professionally and perfectly! They collected the exact amount just as Lamar quoted two months and a half ago! Thank you RMC Movers for helping us have a smooth moving experience!!
Great Move.
Thank Goodness for RMC movers! They were all so helpful, accommodating and understanding. I had an extremely stressful situation with my move, and they helped make it possible. I had the best crew (The Ammon crew). They arrived on time and worked very hard get everything on the truck in a timely fashion.
When they came to deliver our things, they were also on time and worked very hard and went the extra mile for us. What a nice group of young men! I would definitely recommend you guys to anyone.

Very Professional.
I was looking for a moving company that was not a broker. I wanted to know that my belongings were not going to take 2 weeks as well as being stopped at different locations and me of knowing who the moving broker would subcontract to. Did some research and saw the reviews and figured I would place a call. Carolyn, answered and was so pleasant and explained everything. Not only that she was able to get them here in 2 days later for an estimate. They came on moving day and headed by Lewis, everyone was so professional and completed the work in time for me to have the rest of my day. They even packed my original art pieces and all my things arrived on time and it great condition. They even had to walk my couch up three flights of stairs because the door to the elevator was too small. They worked tiredly getting my things situated and did not even want to stop to eat the lunch I bought them. They waited until everything was done before they took their lunch on the road back. I would use them anytime. If you are looking for movers that are pleasant and take pride in their work.. Call RMC movers. I'm even going to have them pack and store the rest of my home in GA for storage in June. Thanks again!

RMC Movers are the best moving company in Georgia. If you need it moved, don't bother calling around, just call Lamar @ RMC and you will get the best price. You can expect RMC Movers to be timely, quick and efficient. I have used RMC Movers several times for moves. Most recently, I had them come out and move a tenants belongings from my property onto the street. This was an eviction with the Sheriff present. The Sheriff's department only provides a two hour window for evictions and RMC Movers was up to the task. They showed up on time and quickly hauled the tenants belongings from the house to the curb. Having to evict a tenant is stressful enough, but I didn't have to worry about RMC Movers at all they have always been professional with every time I have used them. 24 hours after they moved the tenants belongings to the curb, RMC Movers was back and ready to work again on step two of the process, moving the unclaimed property from the street to the dump. It took two truck loads to restore the street to it's normal beauty. RMC Movers loaded everything up and even swept up afterwards, they mean it when they say they are proud of their work. The office was there to assist too, when the first dump said they were full up and couldn't take the load, the people at the offices of RMC Movers jumped into action and found another dump that was close and available. If I could add extra stars or maybe a ++ on this rating I would. I highly recommend RMC Movers and know they will always be my first call when I have moving needs.

RMC Movers was truly a God sent during my move! My move was due to the loss of a loved one; therefore, it required several stops which I sprang on them at the last minute. Not only did they accommodate me, but the owner himself came up to lend a hand to help me stay within the confines of my budget. With the extra stops involved I went over my budget quite a bit but Mr. Bankhead only charged me the budgeted amount we'd previously spoke about. It's wonderful to see such heartfelt concern and selflessness in this "every man for himself" world we live in today. I wish I could give RMC Movers 100 stars! They were also punctual, fast, careful and professional!

Great Experience.
RMC Movers and Lamar Bankhead were beyond excellent when I first used their services. I have since used them again and they were just as great, as before. We are looking at using them possibly a third time. They exercised extreme caution and care during the entire move with all of my belongings. Price was the best I could find. I highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you very much!
A Truly Horrible Experience.
I cannot even begin to describe how awful my experience was with RMC Movers. Hands down the worse moving experience I have ever had or likely will ever have in the future as well. The movers Tyson and Joseph were very friendly, respectful and apologetic. However, the owner Lamar is extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and completely out of control. He showed up at my apartment to handle complaints and instead of being apologetic and helpful and concerned he lashed out at my boyfriend and I. Not only did his lashing out include screaming, degrading personalized comments and a extensive vocabulary of obscene words, but he caused such a horrific scene that my neighbors called the leasing office management on him. Long story short after Lamar repeatedly threatened my boyfriend, threatened to steal my things and take my money we ended up having to call the police. An officer had to supervise the second half of my move to ensure my personal belongings were not broken or stolen by RMC. I feel it is my duty to the rest of the public to warn you of what can be expected from Lamar and how he runs a business or lack thereof.
Please save yourself the headache and hardship and hire a legitimate moving company that will treat you, your family and your belongings with the care and respect you deserve!!

Mr. Bankhead assigned the right number of men on the crew to get my house (4 BR, 2.5 Bath) contents moved in 7.5 hours on a local move. The crew was courteous and professional and had the strength to do the heavy lifting. It was a very organized process and we did our part to be ready on move day. I recommend RMC Movers to anyone that wants an efficient, affordable move with no hassles.

A friend of mine used RMC Movers and was very happy with them. So we tried them. This is the second move we have had with them. The first move was a small move when they moved our daughter to her place. They were done in a few hours and they were great. So we hired them again and were just as pleased the second time.They are on time, they work hard, we haven't had any damage and the crew is very nice and respectful. We will definitely use them again.
