Impressive Mover!
They were absolutely incredible. I will absolutely use Safeway Moving again. They came in underestimated, and this crew was so stellar that it was an easy choice to make the tip difference. They had my whole place in the truck in an hour and into my new apartment in another hour- including packing the fridge. Everything was in pristine condition. I cannot recommend this team enough.

They come in, pack everything perfectly, take care of disassembling and reassembling everything, and are very careful with how they pack. Everything is padded with blankets and packed well. I opted to pack most of my stuff and have them do the kitchen, which worked out great. Steuber is fabulous. He came over to give me an estimate of my move and checked in when the movers arrived on moving day. He was responsive, answered all my questions, and checked in before the move and followed through on everything he said he would. I highly recommend it!!

Great Mover!
We just moved again with Wyatt and his team-- When we moved again just last month, we knew exactly who to call. We were initially unfortunate that our move date was when the team took a vacation (the first in years!). Still, our move got delayed, and we could cancel our other movers and go with Safeway Moving. Once again, we could not have been happier with their work. As all the other reviews reflect, the team is polite, professional, careful and efficient.
Almost all of our most valued items destroyed
I can't even begin to describe how much of a disaster this was. I could talk about how the prices we were quoted weren't honored, how we were told to call our reps if their subcontractors asked us to sign something priced differently than what was agreed, or how I called and no one ever answered, or ever called me back after I left messages. I could talk about how we were pressed to pay in cashiers checks or cash so we couldn't contest the charges later down the line (which we of course ultimately regretted).
But none of that compares to how many of the last few things my mother cared about they destroyed. There's no place to include pictures, but the destruction was appalling. A dressing table broken to bits, an antique dining table (a family heirloom) with a leg ripped off, boxes crushed. My stepfather's ashes, a man who'd died just a few months before the move, went missing (it seems someone put it in the bottom of a box of hangers without telling us).
I called to complain and was told I should have gotten insurance. (Fair.) When I tried to bring to his attention just how egregious the damage was I was told, "well, things move in transit." The damage, please understand, is fairly jaw dropping and extensive. It doesn't look like things shifting in a truck. It looks like it was handled by someone who gave absolutely no concern about protecting our furniture.
My mom, having just lost her husband, having just sold her house of 30 years to move into a place by herself alone, in a new state separated from her support system, was devastated.
I was angry on the phone with customer service and I said "You should feel terrible for how this all went." He responded: "I don't feel bad at all."
To me, that sums it up.
They put the blame on us for not getting insurance; they blamed us for our boxes being too "flimsy" (we got standard moving boxes from Lowe's); they blamed us for not recognizing that furniture might get destroyed in transit. I was not offered any money back, or an apology, or recognition that they'd failed to live up to their responsibility to take care of our items.
So we're left to going on the internet and talking into the void, and hoping that someone reads this first before making the mistake of entrusting them with their prized possessions.

I receive nothing but incredible service from start to finish by the mover's team of Safeway moving. The movers were pretty quick in giving responses. We had great communications throughout. They Are professional and pay close attention to detail, and clearly put a lot of care and respect into the packing, protection and secure transport. Super impressed with the service. Recommended.
Good Mover!
I would recommend these guys from Safeway movers to anybody so professional, so courteous, and caring, a rare breed. Thanks To all the guys for making our difficult day much easier. Even when the movers finished at 12 midnight, they still said goodbye with a cheery smile and wished us good luck in our new home. They are just best.

This company gives outstanding customer service. We used the Safeway movers at very short notice when we were desperate to move. We underestimated before that how much we had to move to our new home, but it was no problem for them. The movers took care of all of our belongings, and nothing was too much of a problem. Can't recommend them enough.

We were very nervous moving cross-country but Safeway made it easy for us. I would use them again but I’m never moving again lol.

The movers were kind, punctual, and very cautious with all my items. They did not stop, and they tried very hard to relocate everything quickly, professionally, and safely. They wrapped all my things and were very careful with fragile items. It is challenging to find reliable, dedicated and hardworking companies in the TX area, so please save yourself the hassle and contact Safeway Moving.

I hired them to move furniture from a friend's house to my place. They were prompt with responding back and made sure to answer all my questions. They were mindful of my concerns with Covid. They were quick, efficient and showed they had experience in this type of service. They arrived on time within the time frame they provided. John was communicative and accommodating to my requests which ensured me they were a good choice for me to choose. I will definitely be contacting them again when I need to!
Move With Them!
My movers were prompt and also gave me a 30-minute courtesy call before their arrival. They moved everything without complaint. They even helped me carry a couple things that I wanted to be taken to the dumpsters. I'm nearly unpacked, and everything looks pristine. Oh, and they were FAST. Moving is very stressful, so I'd recommend this company to everyone looking for an easy moving experience.

Booking was an easy process. My mover named Mendoza arrived 15 minutes early and gave me the option of starting earlier if I wanted to. The van they bought to keep our things was in good clean condition, and the movers were very friendly and efficient. The moving company offers a speedy and friendly affordable service, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I was expecting real stress because of my big move with many heavy items and a collection of glassware. The relocation process with this company went easily, fast and on time. Worst move ever!
They contract all the work out. Two guys show up with a rental truck. They don’t know how to pack up household goods.
Then the estimate is too low. 1500qf estimated, but it more like 2000qf.
$6900 deposit, $5050 on pickup day, another $3600 before they’ll finish loading.
We’ll owe another $3600 before they’ll deliver.
