1. Caring movers.

   Thank you Safeway Moving. We were so nervous when we started out but by the end we didn’t have a worry in the world. Our main concern was we were not going to be present for pickup so we left a certified check with a trusted neighbor and she oversaw the whole process. Every single piece was treated with such care and not a scratch or one broken piece was found on the other side. The price was right in our budget and we were treated like valued customers. We will be referring you going forward.

2. Helping hand.

   From the very beginning to the very end this company was very willing to lend a helping hand. I can explain how amazing it feels to be moved by such a professional company. The last move that I made was a catastrophe. The next move that I make I will definitely be calling you guys again. I am very happy with the entire process of loading and unloading in the short travel time between the pick up and delivery.Thank you Safeway!

3. Safety first.

   Safeway Moving thank you and congratulations for making is happy and getting is exactly where we needed to be. Our main priority was to get there safely no pun intended. You guys operate at a high level of safety and make sure things get there the Safeway. We spent a lot of time to make sure our estimate was correct. This was not the cheapest estimate we received it but we felt the most comfortable working with their company. It’s all about the little things with us. You gave us the information upfront that other companies would’ve charged us for last minute and we recognize that. We are regular people who just took up a new opportunity. The movers worked hard and long hours yet still manage to take the time to make sure our items packed safely. You are out hidden gem. You guys have a lot to be proud about and I’m just doing my part by spreading the word.

4. Huge Savings.

   We had no idea just how many interstate moving companies are out there and how many would be calling us for our business. We reviewed each company and reserved our move with Safeway Moving. Safeway Moving was on top of all of our needs and rarely had to tell them more then once. They saved us 2000 dollars to the next closest price. Watching them pack fragile items was another relief. Bubble wrapping and stretch wrap they wanted to make sure nothing got broke as much as we did. Stand up guys who care point blank period. Upfront and caring and many people involved to catch errors. We paid the price we were told and moved on in life. Thank you for your work.

5. Beautiful move.

   Safeway Moving was superb. We found out most information we thought we knew through other companies we spoke to wasn't entirely accurate. They were very friendly and made sure we missed nothing while putting together our moving estimate. We were promised that once our furniture was loaded to the truck it would not be reloaded to a different one or sit in a warehouse. It was a direct route once it was picked up and never had a problem getting a status update. They helped us relax which was important to me and my family in for us what was a hard time. They are the type of company you don't forget and can for again.

6. More then we asked.

   To say this process wasn’t as easy as we thought was an understatement. Reason being we had no idea the meticulous amount of work that went into each relocation. Room by room piece by piece we put it together. We didn’t have time to pack so it was all in the hands of the movers. They showed up early and began to take apart the beds and pack boxes. Everything was labeled by room and coded in a way we could follow. I stood by the truck verifying each piece so once the final price was given it was less then we expected to pay we found that to be the cherry on top. All we wanted was honest movers who could get the job done because physically we couldn’t. Safeway Moving did much more then we asked them to and that’s what makes them special.

7. Well run.

   Safeway Moving is a well oiled machine. We’ve never worked with a company that had so many departments within it to check to make sure nothing was missed. We had a budget the relocation had to be done within and they were able to accommodate that. All the extra time we put in really made us feel good about our choice because the move could have easily went to another company. We spent a couple nights looking at past moves and checking credentials and they had what we needed. Moving can be extremely stressful so we wanted to do this right the first time around. We never felt like we were second to anyone and our move was always thier priority anytime we called. I can understand how people can get confused that’s why we asked questions and and allocated a little extra space. This was the best mover we have ever used personally. Great management and training for everyone pays off. Happy to use again.

8. Crooks! Moving brokers!

   Larry White was the rep I dealt with originally. He promised a no stress binding bid and then handed me off to Trans World Van Lines out of Kansas. Then I could never reach him again. Jennifer, their dispatcher, reached out to tell me I needed to send the remainder of what I owed, which was $2358 over the original bid, before I could have my things back. I tried on several occasions to talk to her and explain how they over inflated the bid and added things to the cost that I didn't even have. She called me a liar and hung up on me. I had to get the moving association involved to get them to give me my belongings..31 days later. All my boxes were open, things were missing and broken and it still cost me $500 over the "binding" bid. Don't trust these bad guys!

9. All good experience.

   It’s company’s like Safeway Moving that remind us there still are honest and fair movers out there. We had a really bad experience about 8 years ago so we did a lot of research to make sure nobody was going to charge us more then agreed. They were completely transparent and patient. It was overwhelming reading the fine print and they never once pressured us into making a deposit. Anytime we needed anything somebody was always available. They assembled everything they took apart and left the boxes in the rooms we asked. Nice work.

10. Good movers.

    It was a heavy task but now that’s it all behind us we can breathe easy. We employed Safeway Moving for this job after talking to and researching everyone who called. We got the best price per space and a great bottom line that didn’t change. Sales people that truly cared about getting things done right. I’m sure the last thing they wanted was us calling because they missed items. The also have a quality assurance department that goes over the list a few days prior to make sure nothing gets overlooked. Happy to be settled in and happy to recommend.

11. Satisfying.

    Working with Safeway Moving was great. There wasn’t much we really had to do aside from giving them a list of the pieces we wanted to take with us. We just needed a company mostly for the larger items. We packed the boxes ourself and left the rest for them. They were generous with some of the smaller things you don’t think about like mattress covers and packing for TVs. All around good experience. In comparison to other companies the price was right in the middle. Service was second to none. The move went smooth luckily didn’t hit any bumps along the way. It was fast delivery and friendly service members.

12. Savings.

    It was time to move our business so we needed interstate moving company. One of our friends recommended a company to us so we give them a call. Safeway Moving was from our state so we feel good using them. They were even able to come to our business to see some of the items we were moving. We wanted our house and our business booth at the same time. The movers did a great job wrapping the items and packing the boxes. At the last minute we did decide to take a few extra items so our price did increase but not by much at all. They are excellent company and we would recommend to anybody.

13. Skeptic dream.

    Safeway moving where is the moving company that every skeptic move her dreams of. They are patient and very willing to explain the process. To an outsider it can be very overwhelming and easy to get caught up and stuck for thousands of dollars. We are every day hard-working people who don’t have money to burn. So selecting the right company was crucial. They get all the packing of the larger furniture as well as the smaller boxes all we had to do was let the movers in. We got a great price and a friendly group of people to handle the move and we couldn’t be happier. Call them yourself for a quote.

14. Fake reviews and zero empathy.

    Safeway moving systems is a RISK you have to be willing to take. When confronted about fake positive reviews, my sales rep simply replied "all of the moving companies have fake reviews" as if it's no big deal, as if it's not illegal to have such fake reviews.
    After you sign your agreement, don't be surprised that it will take many phone calls to ever reach the sales rep that claims in the beginning will be with you every step of the way.
    In our move, the truck was several days late, items were damaged, and showed up missing a box which held very sentimental items. They claimed they would try and track down the box for us; however, I haven't heard anything from them in weeks despite my please for empathy in that the items involved are irreplaceable. The movers who dropped my stuff off told me repeatedly that I needed to pay a $75 elevator fee that was very clearly waived on my contract.
    Because I was missing a box, I didn't want to sign the delivery contract which states that I have received my belongings. I was then told that if I do not sign the delivery notice, they will take my belongings to a warehouse until I'm willing to sign and would then receive additional delivery fees. I wrote on the contract that needed to be signed that I was missing things and the delivery personal signed his name as lightly as possible underneath as if to try and keep it off the carbon copy. Please also note that the insurance coverage is based on weight, having a tendency to put the moving company in a better position as valuable items often do not weigh much. The box missing is by far the heaviest box we had.. when I asked the rep on the day of delivery how they were going to process a claim for something missing when they can have no idea whatsoever as to how much it weighs, he could not answer that question.
    If I could do things over again, I would pay for a reputable company to ship the things that were really important to me, at the premium price that such companies charge(I'm now realizing why they can & should charge more) and leave it at that.

15. Supports troops.

    My family and I are not newcomers when it comes to moving. We are a military family who tends to relocate more than others. In the past the military has chosen and paid for our move. This time was a little bit different, we were to speak to all the moving companies and submit them quotes. The company that we like the most happened to be the company that they chose in that company was Safeway Moving. It was time to move from Texas back home to New Jersey. I didn’t have a whole truck worth of furniture to move but I did have a good amount. The prices that I got from the three companies were all within a decent range of each other but the thing that sold us the most was the fact that Safeway moving is not a moving broker and everyone we spoke to was so nice and friendly and willing to help, educate and clearly have dealt with situations like this in the past. The move itself went very fast. The movers came and did all the wrapping and packing and did it all within our budget. We considered doing it ourself but in the end decided it would actually cost more and be a lot of work we just didn’t want to do. We were very pleased with all the service from Safeway. You guys rock and most importantly support the troops.
