Relieved to have found them
Everyone from US interstate movers and the sales rep at the office coordinated the move were extremely friendly, pleasant, and professional. The foreman and his helpers were very polite and professional. They loaded my items very carefully and fast. On delivery day my shipment arrived on time and in a good condition. The movers helped me to organize my furniture with no extra charge. The move was completed without a glitch. I would recommend US interstate movers and use them on my next move.

Moving was a nightmare for my family, because we always had to ask neighbors or family members to help and even though they were helping they were always grumpy about that, perhaps because we have been moving a lot. Then I realized that I really need a professional help so my husband hired US interstate movers. I have to say that the movers were really responsible, were not late the morning when we were supposed to leave. We have three kids and trust me; there is never enough help to pack the toys they have. And if you wonder if they charge a lot, I say they charge just fine. If you’re moving soon, hire these guys you won’t regret.
Horrible truck broker
Stay away from this so called moving company, they are a non ethical , corrupt , dishonest immoral truck broker. I got a quote, shopped around and booked. Not the cheapest. Once I made the booking and they got my credit card, they ghosted me, I called, texted, to every name I had, nothing. They contracted my load out to a revolting lying, untrained abhorrent fly by nite unlicensed so called Packtight Movers, or 3 men in rented Penske trucks, who had not been vetted by US Interstate and showed up 2 days late. US Interstate created a quote that was totally negated by the subcontractor, US Interstate stood behind nothing. Transit went form 10 days to 30 . Packing and crating was nothing and I had paid and booked for both. I supplied the plastic bags to pack the mattress's and box springs, yet at delivery all was unwrapped ripped and filthy. The dims used to quote then almost doubled once my entire household was loaded and then Packtight demanded 2x the original quote. I used to book and build loads and know what dims are and I know they were lying to line their coffers and my house is loaded and I had to be out is 4 days. Then in transit they change policy and demand cash at delivery. That screams of corrupt or maybe even illegal practices. Excuses at every call, mail boxes full, more ghosting. At delivery, 30 days from pick up, every piece of wood furniture was scratched, damaged, gouged, had no screws to reassemble the furniture, I was told to
run to home depot. They destroyed an antique desk, holes through fabric ottoman, watched Packtight try to swith our rack with someone elses , tried to switch one our handtrucks, watched Packtight drop a dresser down 2 brick stairs. I could go on and detail the extensive damage, and the broken items, but US Interstate has already washed their hands of any responsibility or culpability. Insurance is so little, the time and expense would equate to a greater lose to me and my family. Do not consider US Interstate, they stand behind nothing, have no business morals, are a loathsome company. Using Alternative facts is how US Interstate operates, shell game at your expense. Stay away from, tell all your friends and business associates who are considering moves do not use US Interstate.
Excellent shifting!!
Interstate is a go to company when your move is a monumental task. They showed up on time and delivered on time. They explained everything before they began and helped me understand the process completely. They also moved my vehicle and scheduled that to coincide with my house belongings even though I asked for separate delivery locations. I would use this company again.

Last month I moved from Florida to South Philly. I was shopping around for quotes when I came across this company. After receiving one of the best quotes I figured I’d give them a shot. There were no hidden fees which I was really surprised about. I’m 100% pleased with how they handled everything and I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone who has an upcoming move. Angie in Customer service was amazing & answered all my questions honestly. Tony was my moving coordinator and he was amazing as well. Everything was wrapped perfectly and there was no damage to any of things. If anyone is looking to move I’d strongly suggest that you give these guys a chance. 10/10 you won’t be disappointed.
Wonderful or great customer service!
Interstate was very good at communication and preparing us with information regarding our move. If I was to provide any advise it would be to make certain that you do a thorough inventory of the goods being moved or have an estimator come to evaluate your belongings to be shipped. Also, be clear on what additional services that are needed - disassembly, packaging, boxes, etc. vs what you will be packing and preparing yourself. All-in-all it was a great move from state to state. I appreciate all of the communication that helped us to be prepared and know what to expect each step of the way.
HORRIBLE
Worst company ever - they are a broker and hire the worst movers. US Interstate severely underquoted us and we were extremely accurate with everything we had - the movers showed up and back 25 percent of the truck and said it would then go from $3400 to $6800!!! They only moved a 2 bedroom home… Also, the movers packed our stuff by not stacking and fitting things in properly so it would look as if they took up more room to charge more. This was confirmed at drop off when the movers weee refusing to pay the contract guys they hired in Houston a full truck worth - they told them “this is not a full truck. They packed the truck around and not properly. It’s just a half truck”. We got completely screwed - I would NEVER recommend US Interstate to anyone - then when we tried to call them Saturday like they told us to if the drivers tried charging more, they just ghosted us. I hope they go out of business soon a straight up crap service…..

Great experience from start to finish. Very thorough and detailed during the entire process. They subcontract a different company to do the actual move, but the guys that came to move my stuff were so nice and a huge help. US Interstate van lines were recommended to me by a friend and I’d do the same.

Absolutely love this company! Moving from Charleston to Pensacola seemed so overwhelming with all the packing and sorting, just to have to move it too. I hired Universal to handle the move, and it was PERFECT. Affordable, friendly, and fast! I have no complaints. I wouldn’t believe half of the bad complaints against this company as they sound too far fetched. I personally spoke to several of the customer service agents when having questions, and all of them were polite and explained everything I needed to know, calmly. I would definitely use Universal again.

Great moving company! They were very helpful and careful with my things. Got my stuff packed up and moved from Cali back to Oregon safely and very timely. The service they provided is hard to find with moving companies. I have had some very bad experiences in the past while on active duty, but this company did it right.

Had a fantastic experience with these guys. Two guys showed up with the appropriate sized moving truck and treated every item like it was their own. A lot of care was shown and the move went very smoothly. The prices are more than fair and they are willing to work with you on this as well. Overall, a great moving company that checks all the boxes. Highly recommend them!

Crew chief Dave’s ready willingness to stay for hours getting the beds and bikes put together after a long day unloading the truck, kind-spirited to the very end. He was also a marvel in finding a replacement when a crew member at the last minute couldn't show up.
Biggest scam ever around price and delivery dates
Biggest scam ever around price and delivery dates. Stay away from them at all costs. Their estimate was okay and fair but the contractor doing the moving on their behalf came into our apartment and told us we have to pay double because the estimate amount isn’t enough money for the distance. They charged us for 550 cf instead of the actual load of 411 cf has stacked, packed and measured by their contractor. They picked up our stuff on Oct 9 and promised a delivery from Seattle to Miami within 20 business days and today is Dec 6 and they are unable to provide a delivery date. On Nov 1 they told us our stuff hadn’t left Seattle but it would arrive the week of Nov 22. On Nov 26 they said it would be by Dec 1. On Dec 1 they told us the truck broke down and they don’t know. The agent we were talking to was Amanda. On Dec 6 they tell us there isn’t an Amanda working in their office and it should arrive on Dec 8 based on notes but they don’t know if that date will hold true.

Yesterday I had to move some furniture to my parents house and I called Interstate Van Lines. The man arrive on time, packed my stuff and delivered them for only two hours. I was expecting like half a day but he was really fast. Good job guys.

Aaron, Devon, and Mauri were professional, courteous, efficient and very hardworking throughout the move and even finished the job in less time than anticipated.
