  1. Fraud Alert: No Pick Up, No Refund, Poor Communication

    Contracted for move from Seattle, WA to Providence, RI. Pick up was scheduled for either Saturday or Sunday. Was promised a call 24 hours before pick up window.

    On Wednesday before our pickup we were contacted to complete a quality assurance check to confirm our move. We participated in a scheduled call on Thursday and were re-confirmed for our move and promised again that we would receive a confirmation call 24 hours before our pick up.

    No confirmation call was received. I Contacted the after hours number (text only available). They clarified I would receive a pick up confirmation call between 3 to 8 PM on the night before pick up. This was different from the previous instruction that we would receive a call 24 hours before pick-up.

    8 PM came and went. I sent follow-up messages after we did not receive pick up confirmation call.

    Sent additional texts for follow-up on the morning of final day of our pick up window. We received a response that they would "look into this..."

    Throughout the day we sent 5 urgent texts requesting update. After over 8 hours since they indicated they were looking into our case we received the following text at 2:22 PM on the final pick up day:

    "My dispatcher just notified me that the route we had you assigned to has dissolved and we will be refunding your deposit so sorry for the inconvenience sir."

    8 minutes later, at 2:30 PM my daughter and I both received separate texts from Paul with http://Rightwaymovingandstorage.com. Paul indicated that he was the housemate of the US Pro Moving and Logistics after hours on call person and he was aware our move was cancelled. He texted to see if he could service our move.

    He sent repeated texts and even called my cell the following day. On the phone he confirmed that he was a former employee of US Pro Moving. When I asked if they were a fraud the call ended.

    I have sent repeated emails requesting next steps for refund.

    Believe the single star ratings and take your business elsewhere.

  2. Beyond Nightmare

    This is hands down, the worst moving company that ever existed. I’ve moved a total of 28 times in my life, and this place is by FAR the worst! I can’t even begin to describe both my disappointment and dissatisfaction with them. But I suppose I’ll give it a shot anyways, so here goes:

    Punctuality; Pickup was 5hrs late, no call for the delay, no warning they would show up at 11PM and wake my neighbors, they just showed whenever the heck they felt like it. Same with drop off, but this time they were TEN HOURS LATE!!

    Communication; What a god-awful nightmare it is to get ahold of this place. They never pick up the phone. One day I spent a total of SIX HOURS trying to get ahold of them. Each time I was put in a phone queue and when it was my turn to be answered next, their call system would hang up on me. Getting ahold of them is literally impossible. Just another FU to add to their special kind of tier of unprofessionalism... They never even called once in the FOURTY DAYS it took them to delivery my stuff except on the DAY OF delivery. Seriously left in the dark the entire time. I was almost positive they stole my stuff and money...

    Handling; Wow... just wow... they treated my personal belongings like absolute garbage... everything was TRASHED upon delivery... I had everything neatly bubble wrapped, marked with FRAGILE stickers and by the time it got to me, the bubble wrap was torn off, mattress protector bag was non-existent, boxes marked FRAGILE were completely ignored and smashed and I was honestly better off throwing my stuff in a dumpster fire. They lied to me and said everything would be wrapped in blankets and securely handled... what a total joke...

    To make matters worse, upon delivery, my 65” TV wasn‘t present... They just flat out LOST IT!! A giant 65” TV isn’t something that’s necessarily easy to misplace, so it’s quite obvious it’s been stolen... bunch of crooks...

    Paperwork; So upon delivery they make you sign a document that basically says that all your belongings are present and accounted for and undamaged yet they force you to sign it before they even open up the truck and give you your stuff or even let you see it... what the actual FU$K?? How does that even REMOTELY make sense?? Am I supposed to have X-ray vision?? This is just another crooked way to cover their tracks and make sure they get their greedy Ill-gotten money and have their as$es covered... these people are shady as fu@k.....

    Cleanliness; So after a total of 40 days (When quoted 20) and a total of 15 collective hours of tardiness, they show up for both pickup and drop off without wearing masks, muddy boots with no shoe covers, and they’re handling all of your stuff with dirty hands. One of the movers during pickup even asked to use my restroom and didn’t wash his hands after, his hands were so dirty they were actually black... bro... wtf?... you actually eat with those same hands? And now you’re touching everything I own with them?... Total fu$king PIGS!

    I honestly wish I just sold all of my my stuff on Craigslist, ebay and yard sales vs paying these clowns to move it... Every other mover wanted 3x the price these guys were asking for and I figured “well how bad could it possibly be?”... In this situation it’s REAL bad.... I wanna say it’s a “you get what you pay for“ situation but I didn’t even get that much... these guys seriously need to be shut down and put out of business... they are lying, deceiving, careless crooks and I sincerely hope they get what’s coming to them. Especially the as$hole that’s watching my 65” 8K smart TV right now....

    If you’re considering using this company, you need to look elsewhere. They will leave you with late, broken, missing property and a sour feeling in the pit of your stomach.

  3. Fraud and Attempted exploitation

    First off this company is a complete scam. The sales guy tried hitting on my girlfriend and flying her down to see him (his name is listed as Guy in the company’s estimate). He told her how he would give her 4 movers for the price of two.. anyways his estimate on paper matched the items in her 1 bedroom apartment. The movers show up, all young, one guy on crutches, and they could not speak English, demanding that she pay 2,000 more in cash or they wouldn’t move her. She was really sketched out and wanted to speak with their supervisor. The supervisor hung up on her and the movers left and never came back even though they said they would after they spoke with their manager. She was on hold over 4 hours only to be hung up on again. No calls emails or responses from the company. This company is a scam and took her 1,200 down payment. They claim to be veteran owned. Having worked in the moving industry as manager and sales rep I will 100% say stay away from these guys. Complete scam. We are grateful that they didn’t move her as we are confident that they would have stolen her belongings.

  4. Terrible co.

    You get tricked into a contract with low prices. They raise the price, mis figure cf and hire companies to move your stuff that won't update the email request or answer their phone calls. Your on hold each time you try to call them for 20 mins to 1 hour and 52 min. Today I called and was on hold for 1 hour and 52 min. Someone answered never spoke and hung up on me. Whatever you do don't hire this company.

  5. Refund

    The never moved a stitch of my furniture because they were late getting there. Was scheduled from 12-4, got there at 7p and after getting there they wanted to add another $1300. I already paid $1024, then $750 and once they arrive $1400 and when they get to the destination another $1400. WTH!! almost $6k. Not sure about the tiny boxes they were counting and the square footage calculation. Still waiting on a response from them as of today.

  6. BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY

    [FRAUD ALERT] US Pro Moving and Logisitics is a fraudulent company. These guys are brokers, NOT a moving company. I called US Pro Moving and Logistics for a moving estimate and Liz Parker gave me an estimate. She asked me about ALL of the furniture I am moving so I told her, she listed each piece in the contract, listed the estimated volume my furniture will take up in the movers' truck as 626 cubic feet, and quoted me a price. She took an advance deposit from me in the amount of $1077 on the same day to make the reservation. However, on moving day, when the moving company arrived, they said that the EXACT SAME FURNITURE that Liz Parker had mentioned in the contract will take up at least 1200 cubic feet of space, and they said I need to pay AT LEAST $2500 to $3000 IN ADDITION to the total balance on the invoice. I told them that this is the mistake of US Pro Moving and Logistics and the movers agreed with me. I told them that my furniture should be moved for the original price that I was quoted because it is not my mistake. They refused to provide me service so I didn't move with them. When I called US Pro Moving and Logistics to get my deposit back since it is the mistake of Liz Parker, they were extremely rude to me and REFUSED TO REFUND MY DEPOSIT OF $1077. I not only lost money, but also had to endure a lot of stress on top of the moving stress that I already had. Trust me! Do NOT give US Pro Moving and Logistics your business. You will regret it!!!! If you read other reviews, you will realize that this company has done the same thing to other customers too. YOU MIGHT BE THE NEXT ONE ON THEIR LIST! Give your business to another company. Again, THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT!!!

  7. HORRIBLE

    This company is a total scam. Any positive reviews here or on BBB are submitted by the company. They spend more time responding to complaints on BBB than running their business. I'd give zero stars if possible. Without boring you with the details, we were extorted $1600 to have our items unloaded and then most were damaged, if not missing.

  8. DONT DO IT!

    The original quote was for $3,000 with a $900 deposit. They called 5 days before the moving date to tell us that we needed to pay $600 more, bringing the total deposit to $1,500. The night before moving day the driver calls us to tell us the truck broke down. We called customer support with no answer. We had to hire another company last minute. Our attempts to contact someone to get a refund have been stressful. If we do get ahold of someone, which is rare cuz most of the time they hang up on us while on hold, they tell us that it will take months to get our money back. Phone lines are 50 mins long just to get disconnected. Please I urge you to find another company. If you are looking for movers in the PNW Jordan River was able to accommodate us at a reasonable price and last minute.

  9. 4 weeks and still no delivery

    Our experience with this company has been horrible. First, they would not allow us to add additional space to our estimate without a call with their QA team - and they wouldn't schedule this call more than 1 week out from the move - at which time we'd be stuck with them. Then, when the movers arrived, the person in charge walked in, took a look around and immediately told us we needed additional space and would be charged another $1000. I knew better, as I've moved several times and understand the amount of space we needed. So I challenged him on this and asked that he explain why we would need that much more space and what exactly was different from what they originally estimated. He would not explain anything and said I would need to talk to his supervisor. I asked him several times to explain and he continued to refuse or to look even look at me. So I called up our US Pro Moving Coordinator (Kevin), and explained I had an issue with our US Pro move that was taking place. Kevin told me I'm sorry you have the wrong company, this is not US Pro Moving. I said, well that concerns me as well becauseI have your email right here and your email address and signature say US Moving Pros. He then asked what the problem was and I explained the situation. He put me on hold while he looked up the account. A few minutes later someone else got on the phone and identified herself as the supervisor. I explained the situation to her, and she asked to speak to the site lead (the movers). They explained to her that a few pieces were larger than they expected, so when I got back on the phone with her again I asked her to explain to me and tell me what size items they had expected. When she did, the dimensions of my items were smaller than he told her they were! I expressed my extreme displeasure and unbelief that they were trying to deceive us and get more money that was not deserved or needed for space that was not needed. She then went on to say that we would be receiving a refund for the difference but that we would need to pay it to the movers for now. I agreed, as long as she'd send an email and the money would be credited to our account right away. She said it would be within 1 business day. Well, it is 4 weeks later and we still have not received the refund. BUT EVEN WORSE - OUR GOODS HAVE NOT BEEN DELIVERED. We've called several times and assured us it is on the way, but we are well beyond the normal time frame on this move and are worried at this point that our belongings are gone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Complete scam.

  10. Fraud Company DO NOT DO BUSINESS

    This company is a fraud. I scheduled a move with them and paid my deposit. My move did not happen and I cancelled within the time frame they gave me. It has been months and they agree they owe me a refund but refuse to give it to me. They hang up the phone on me when I call customer service and ignore over 10 emails that I have sent to accounts payable. They will steal your money and never give it back. I have contacted the better business bureau but this company is NOT accredited with them. Do not do business with this company.

  11. No response at the time of move, ? fraud, ? scam

    We contacted this moving company in Dec 2020 and now its time to move from PA to Florida. We have already paid half the amount as an advance. Our move is from a 3 bed room townhouse to a townhouse. I have been trying to connect to the staff who started all the moving process. There is no reply of emails,texts and calls. I have been trying to call at 833-380-8421 and I was on hold for 2 hrs but I was not able to connect to the staff. I have my confirmationbooking number, proof of paid money and all the emails. As there is no reply from the staff, who started all the process, I am wondering if this is fraud/scam. I request this moving company to take this issue seriously and get back to me. I have sent emails too.

  12. Do not do it

    Please do not do business with this company. They are frauds and they do not help veterans i lost 500 dollars after they fraudulent wrote an estimate of what i needed moved giving me an dishonest estimate. Two days before the date i needed moved it went up 3 thousand more. I canceled it and ask for my deposit back . I was told they are keeping my money and i can call them to use their company for the next 2 years. Like i want to ever go with them. Please don't make the same mistake. They also do not support veterans They are al very rude people

  13. Do Not Use this company

    In all the years i have been dealing with businesses this is the worst experience I have ever had. My sister is disabled and set up a move with this company without looking at reviews. They quoted a price of $1700. to move a one bedroom apartment. It was double what the going rate is in our area. When they picked up the furniture they said it would not be delivered for 3-5 days. I had to plead with them to deliver the same day because she would have no place to sleep. It was a 20 minute drive from apartment to her new location. They were going to charge $400.. extra. After pleading with them they agreed to only charge $100. When I told them I was going to hire an attorney the response was "Go ahead". They were rude and very unprofessional. I have looked at their rebuttals online and they will stop at nothing to defend their reprehensible business practices.

    In January, 2021 I entered into a contract with US Pro Moving and Logistics(a moving broker) to pick up my belongings from California. My belongings were to be delivered to my new home in Missouri by early February 2021. My belongings were contracted to be transported by

    Due to the distance, delivery could take up to 21 days, after the day of pick up.

    As of today, we are now at 71 business days, and 101 calendar days, since my goods were picked up from California.

    I have made numerous phone calls to US Pro Moving and Logistics. The responses that I received from my moving broker, US Pro Moving and Logistics varied. I was told my goods would arrive the next week. You should hear something by Wednesday. We will get back to you later. Or, the truck was in Ohio five hours away, and my goods would arrive the next week.

    The current response from US Pro Moving and Logistics, my belongings will arrive by the end of the April, 2012.

    The company US Pro Moving and Logistics, has not provided the services that they promised.

    I do not recommend US Pro Moving and Logistics. One star rating is more than they deserve.

  15. Late and overcharged

    I was told a certain fee upon signing up. I only had a small number of items, but when movers arrived, I was charged all sorts of extra fees that were never disclosed beforehand. There's a 50 meter fee in addition to the 12 stairs fee. It seemed like the movers put me between a rock and a hard place because they claimed that my boxes would take up more space than allowed. I was quoted a price for 51 medium sized boxes...I only had 10 boxes total.

    I ended up paying an additional $500 on top of everything. It felt like extortion. What was I going to do, cancel my move right there on the spot as I was expecting to move that day! I will never do business with this company again. If I'm going to pay $2600 to move a studio sized apartment, I might as well have gone with a better company. Also they showed up more than 2 hours late. Needless to say I was irritated when they arrived. The mover didn't understand why I was irritated and threatened to leave my stuff there.

    This anxiety producing experience makes me want to never use a moving company again. Not worth the headspace and anxiety.
