Perfect Move, Great Staff, Great Service, Great Value!
I cannot imagine my in-town move being handled any better than it was with 495 Movers. Picking up the free boxes and packing supplies was really easy and a big help for the move. The movers arrived right on time and they took care of everything. And the flat hourly rate that they quoted really is what they use - they completed my move about two hours faster than they expected and did not charge me for the extra hours. Shout out to Gerson and his team for a great, stress-free moving experience! Will highly recommend to others in the area.
Great Movers
Daniel and his crew called to let me know that they were on the way. They arrived almost exactly on time. Daniel came in and surveyed everything that was moving to develop his plan. Then his crew got to work. They took great care to pack everything by wrapping them in blankets and plastic. They worked quickly and efficiently. They took great care to safeguard all of our property. The move took almost exactly the amount of time quoted in the estimate. I Highly recommend 495 Movers and specifically recommend Daniel and his crew. They were all extremely friendly, polite, and efficient.
Amazing company
I spoke with over 10 different moving companies before making the decision of hiring 495 Movers. We moved from Washington DC to Naples, FL... the movers in DC were on time, super quick and organized Antonio and the crew were fast and professional. We asked them to deliver our stuff 2 weeks later and it took an extra 4 days but everything arrived safely and the crew were fast and efficient. This company was in contact with me the entire time of my move. The price was right for a long distance moving and they provided the packing supplies at no cost. You can not go wrong with them! Thank you 495 Movers!!
Moving my home in storage temporarily
I would like others to know that 495 Movers is the BEST! I did not expect what I got in service. They handled my furniture and household stuff better than I did packing. Once Jose and the crew got my stuff to the storage bin, I was amazed at how the put my 5 bedroom house in a 10x15 bin with room to walk O-M-Geeeee! I LOVE this company and the customer service I received. Eden and Keri (I hope I got the names right)....they will keep you calm. I HIGHLY recommend 495 Movers because they were recommended to me. A GREAT recommendation!

Hands down, the best moving company ever!
This is the 3rd time I use 495movers service, and things just get better with these guys.
We needed to move a piano that we purchased, it started with the amazing dispatcher, that was fast, got us in for the same day (same hour even!!) and continued with the movers who did a wonderful job, they were early for the pickup, they were fast and efficient driving to and simply amazing at the delivery and drop off, the piano was wrapped so carefully, they got it to its final destination with care, asked if I am satisfied and overall were great.
I would work with this company again and again and again....they are unique in what they do and their service is outstanding.
Excellent Service

Fabulous work
Julio and his 5-person team did a phenomenal job. Showed up at 8 am, had our townhouse loaded onto their trucks in 3 hours, packed everything great, stopped at our storage unit to get all our other boxes and unloaded and re-assembled everything at our new house. There was no problem they couldn't solve. They were super careful with our stuff, super strong, super polite. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
Great movers.
Marvin and the team of guys that showed up both days were true class act. They never stopped working there were zero issues, job came in under budget only because they worked so hard. I cannot say enough about this company and Marvin and the team. I was totally blown away would recommend them to anyone looking to move.
Amazing.
495 movers was excellent! We did an intown move in August 2020 from Maryland to DC and everything went absolutely perfectly. They arrived on time and were professional and no nonsense from the beginning. They packed things safely with their own materials. They were efficient but careful. The unload went without issues as well. And most importantly, they came in right on budget and not a penny over. I would absolutely use them again.

DC to Philly.
Really great experience. Moved a 3 bd apt from DC to philly in one day without a hitch. Other companies were asking more money to do it over 2 days but 495 was very flexible with our schedule. Pricing was very straightforward. They offer free boxes for pickup from their offices, and when we didn't get enough the first time, Josh arranged for more to be delivered to us, free of charge. But really the best part was our moving team. These guys got straight to business, were super efficient and went to great lengths to carefully wrap all of our furniture. Everything made it without a scratch. would 100% recommend and wouldn't waist time searching for anyone else.
Look elsewhere if you care about professional services.
While some may think that paying a little bit more will provide a better or more professional service, that absolutely does not hold true for 495 Movers. We experienced a multitude of issues throughout the entire process from in-home estimation all the way to delivery.
- Our in-home estimation was provided by one of their "Vice Presidents” and ended up costing us 40% more than we expected on move-day. After fighting for weeks over both the phone and email, 495 Movers gracefully decided to compensate us for most, but not all, of the overage. This is despite their website that states they will hold true to their estimates.
- Both sets of packing and delivery personnel felt out-sourced and took little to no care with our belongings or home's walls. Even to the point of arguing over breaking some of our things on-the-spot and then demanding we tip them before they would leave.
- Disassembly and reassembly of our two large furniture items left us with a broken dining room table, including multiple sheared-off and stripped screws. We opted not to have them attempt to assemble our other furniture item.
- Many of our belongings and collectibles had been tossed around and then poorly packed, which resulted in multiple damages that neither the insurance company nor 495 Movers would compensate us for. Several items would have been missed completely during packing if we had not been diligent in picking-up after the employees.
This experience was one of those lessons that reminded us that if you want something done right, it is better to do it yourself. Or, at least do not ask 495 Movers to participate.
Spectacular Service.
I can't express how satisfied we were with this move from my initial communication until the move was completed. I live in NC and I usually move my son when needed. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I was unable to do so this time. I was worried because I wasn't there to make sure everything went smoothly. From my initial contact with 495 with Joshua, follow-up with Priscilla and actual move with Edwin and the team, the move was FABULOUS!! Every contact I made with 495 Movers was professional and they really made me feel important. We had a two stop move and every step was done with perfection. If I could give a rating greater than 5 stars I would because they definitely did an AWESOME job and they put my mind at ease. I will definitely use 495 Movers again and I will also recommend to others. Thank you for your Excellent service! It is greatly appreciated.
