David, Leo, Julio and Marvin are beyond excellent. The owner and the manager Tom are beyond excellent too! We lived 2.5 hours away from the house we moved into. They arrived at 7am and didn't finish till right before midnight. The long hour job didn't lower the level of the service. They are very professioanl, respectful, approachable and reliable. We are just so pleased that chose them:-).

I used 495 Movers for two moves. The service for my August 2016 move was excellent as with the first move. The movers called me prior to their arrival time, arrived, and proceeded to work as scheduled. I was greeted and given a brief overview of the move and projected cost. I did a lot of pre-packing and the 495 folks helped with whatever I missed. The workers took care in their work and were very pleasant during the move. The move was even finished early. I highly recommend the service and would use them in the future without hesitation.
Fantastic movers.
We moved with 495 Movers this past weekend and had the best experience! First, the sales manager Tom was excellent. He made sure we had everything we needed for the move and answered all of our questions. He had supplies for packing delivered to us within a day! On moving day, the crew was truly impressive. David's team was kind, fast and professional. They carefully wrapped all of our furniture. Nothing was damaged! They had 2 trucks emptied 3.5 hours EARLIER than estimated despite the brutal heat. Hire them! They know what they're doing, and they won't overcharge you!

We hired 495 Movers to help my daughter move from DC to Manhatten. They arrived at the apartment on time, packed everything and were very pleasant and helpful. Two days later as planned, all her belongings arrived in Manhatten. The gentleman at this end was also hard-working, helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend 495 Movers and I would use them again. Initially, I made all the plans with the owner, who provided me with his cell phone number. Impressed!

Moving can be a very stressful experience, especially a long distance move, but 495 Movers made our transition easier than we had ever anticipated.
We couldn't be more pleased with the way Julio, Leo, Effry, and David carefully wrapped our many household goods and fragile collectibles. The company stored our items until we had found a new home in Florida, and then they delivered everything right to our new home on time!
The crew was extremely courteous and efficient throughout, and upon unpacking, we did not find a single damaged item.
We recommend 495 Movers without any reservations. They are terrific!

East coast move.
495 Movers came in after the Walter Reed housing office fiasco of 2016 dropped the ball. They offered me very competitive pricing for a full service move. The movers were on time, very professional and packed everything very well. Nothing broke during the move and delivery was very smooth. I would recommend this company to family and friends without hesitation. Thank you for a great move!!

495 Movers is by far the best, friendliest and quickest moving company I have ever used. The staff was not only friendly but also extremely helpful. Nate, the owner answered all my questions and was very patient with me as difficulties arose on my end. The movers were professional and as careful as one can imagine with all my possessions, which is actually pretty rare to find in moving companies now a days. They were accommodating, understanding, and I was especially surprised with how well they were prepared. I can not recommend 495 Movers enough. They made the moving process easy. The team who did my move was wonderful! Josh and his team did a great job moving all of my heavy furniture without damaging it. They were quick and very polite. I would definitely hire them again and ask for them specifically for my next move.

I found 495 Movers when I searched the BBB.org. BBB rates them A+ and they are licensed and insured. When I first called them, I gave a list of all the items being moved. VERY accurately, they were able to estimate the time the move would take. In detail, they went over their rates. My movers were Tom and Selina. They were at my home on time. They even had the courtesy to call me to say they were going to be a tad early and asked if I wanted to start earlier or wait. I was more than appreciative of their call and the fact they did not just show up. Tom came in and introduced himself. We did a walk through first and he explained, in detail, how the move would go. Then, they both got down to business. There are not enough superlatives to describe the amazing level of care they gave EACH item when it came to packing and moving. Everything, not boxed, was padded then wrapped with a clear wrap material to hold the pads in place. The speed that both Tom and Selina packed, brought down and loaded up the moving van was highly impressive. The same can be said with how they unloaded and moved everything into it's final destination. Post move, I asked them if they could take some furniture items we wished to discard to our local recycling area. Since we were paying by the hour, they were willing to remove what we wanted. The only surcharge, which we were made aware of in advance, was a fee the recycling area charges based on the weight of the items. The service cost listed below includes the extra time we asked them to remove and take some items to the recycling facility. Both Tom and Selina are extremely polite, extremely professional and made moving, which in itself is stressful, a totally stress free experience. Great Experience.
These guys are some of the best movers I've ever done business with. They moved our townhouse with complete efficiency and were quick and careful. The first company I've worked with that was not late! If you need movers at a great price, I think this is the best company in town!

Great company and outstanding professionals. Have moved 10 times within the last 15 years (military), and this has been by far the best moving company. They showed up with five guys both for packing and unpacking; move went faster and smoother than we expected. Very helpful and they catered to all our needs.

495 Movers were great. I found them on the internet when searching for moving companies for our office move. From the beginning of the process until the last box was in the new office, they were helpful and seemed to genuinely care about the well being of our stuff. The movers (Josh, Oscar, and Gervin) were awesome. They arrived early and did not waste any time at all. Could not have asked for a better experience.

495 movers are the best movers I have ever used. They arrived earlier than expected, went right to work, protected my furniture beautifully, including my priceless grandfather clock. They moved me under the most horrendous circumstance; we arrived at my new place and the tenants were not finished moving out as promised. We had to leave and come back 1 1/2 hrs. later when we could start moving in. The garage was filled from ceiling to floor with the tenants belongings and so the movers had to use stairs up to the front door. They did it without complaining as well as comforting me as I was crying hysterically over the horrendous circumstances. We had to sweep each room before putting in furniture and they helped me with that. I am happy with the price of the move; David and his crew were efficient and helpful as they moved in my furniture; and not only that, David and his crew understood what terrible circumstances I was facing as I was moving in and were understanding. They
were professional and efficient. Tom Y. who did my move estimate was professional, respectful and was very insightful about the difficulties and stress of moving. I will not hesitate to use 495 movers again and I am recommending them to family and friends if they ever have a need to move. One more thing: once I had decided to engage them as my movers, within 24 hrs. they dropped off 4 sizes of boxes (including extra heavy dish barrels), wrapping paper, and tape, more than enough for a 2300sq. ft. townhouse free of charge. Never had to buy a single box or tape.
