They will gave me an estimate of 4300, took a deposit and then 3 days before my move upped it to over 7k for an in-law cottage ! We live in an inlaw cottage and they wanted 7k !!! They also sold the move to another 1-star review company to actually handle my move. Who wants to pay 7k to have a 1 star review company move their belongings ? The answer is no one. Do not hire them. Do not give them a deposit. I could not risk my belongings or having to pay 7k so i canceled and now I am out my 2k deposit. Avoid this company !

It was our first time using movers and we had the best experience we could have had. Everything was loaded and unloaded in 2 hours and we had to move from two separate places. The rate was very reasonable and Kyle, Roxroy, and Steven were extremely respectful of all of our items and very friendly-always helpful during a stressful move! We would use this company again.
These gentlemen were machines
We cannot stop talking about how great our experience was with Alliance Moving & Storage. The men who facilitated our move, Vince and Cameron, arrived early, were courteous and friendly, were careful with our stuff, and made the whole thing feel incredibly easy. I was planning for the whole move to take so much longer than it actually took. Super amazing moving machines. Seriously. The next time we move, we are using Alliance Moving & Storage, and we're telling all the people we know.
They are definitely worth the price
Steve explained everything on the phone and it was easy to schedule service. Then came moving day it took a little longer than expected, but Anthony and Frank were so professional. They worked really hard and fast. They took such care with our furniture. I've never moved and not had something break. But this time, not even a scratch on any of my furniture.

We just used Alliance Moving & Storage to move from our apartment in OK to a townhouse in VA. The movers were on time, extremely fast and extra careful with of our belongings. Nothing was broken and everything was moved into the correct room in the new location. Recommend.
Nothing came up broken, nothing turned up missing
After our experience, we understand why they receive a lot of positive feedback. They worked hard to minimize the stress of moving. They started off on the right foot when they showed up on time. I was worried that they were going to break our things, but they made sure to pack everything cautiously. They were professional, nice, and fast!

When the guys came they definitely took care of all my fragile items, including new appliances and TVs that were definitely not cheap. Moving into the house, they took care of each item and asked questions. The guys were awesome, and because of that, I would definitely hire Alliance Moving & Storage again!

Ryan and Marlon were total rock stars. They were on time, friendly, fast and professional. There were so many stairs and a ridiculous amount of old and well-made heavy furniture. They made it look so easy. And they took great care to wrap and protect everything as if it were their own. I got several quotes and they were also competitively the most affordable. Hands down best moving day ever made possible by these two guys from Alliance Moving & Storage.

Great experience moving with Alliance Moving & Storage. We had Kevin and 2 other guys and they did an excellent job, very prompt, professional and friendly. They did not move slowly, also tried their best to expedite the process. From the start, getting a quote was easy and the customer service was very responsive and helpful. Our estimate turned out to be exactly right and I had an excellent experience.

I've used many moving companies in my 7 years of living, and I must say Alliance Moving & Storage is the best I have ever used! The most fair and reasonable prices around with no ridiculous hidden fees that I've experienced with other movers. The movers themselves were kind and speedy, and they made my move a much less stressful experience. I will definitely be using them again for my next move, and referring others as well! Worst Costumer Service Experience I've Ever Had
I hired this company to do my move from Saint Peter, MN to New London, CT. Everything was fine with the booking process. They told me my pick-up date would be Either September 10th or September 11th and I would get a call to confirm closer to the date. On September 9th, I got a call confirming my pick-up date for September 11th and the representative on the phone informed me I would get a call the following day confirming my pick-up time.
By 4 p.m. the following day, I had not received a call. I called and talked with Nicole who told me she would have an answer and would call me back in an hour and a half. She never called back, so I called and received the after-hours line which is basically useless. This began nearly two days of me calling the company, sitting on hold, and never getting an answer. My "confirmed" pick-up date came and went. It was my last day at work, and I was supposed to be able to enjoy saying goodbye to my colleagues but was unable to because of the lack of communication.
On Sunday, September 13th, my belongings were finally collected by D&F Pack and Go. That went smoothly other than the fact that it was two days past my confirmed pick up date. I just kept wondering "what if I wasn't able to stay in my apartment past the 11th? I would have had no where to go." I gave them a drop off date in New London, CT of no earlier than September 18th.
Knowing my belongings wouldn't be there right away, I called on September 19th just to get a status update. The individual I talked with was not able to give me any information. I then proceeded to call back each day asking for an update and I was told repeatedly that "we can't get in touch with the guy, but don't worry, your stuff is fine." On Saturday, September 26th, I sat on hold with the company for five hours and left repeated voicemails. Not a single person answered the phone or returned my voicemails.
I spent the next 2-3 weeks calling daily to ask for updates and was told repeatedly that my delivery would be on a specific date, only to have that date come and go with no communication from D&F or Alliance and no sign of my belongings. Often times when I called, I was told by the representative who took my calls that they would call me back within a certain time frame, and they rarely did. I asked for the contact information for D&F so I could contact them directly and they also were unresponsive and unhelpful. Eventually, I was able to contact the owner of the company who was helpful or about a day and instructed his employee Vicky to provide me with a $500 refund. I received an email from Vicky stating that I would be provided a refund on October 11th and I have not received it yet as of November 10th.
Finally, on October 23rd (after I had been in my new location nearly five weeks without clothes, cooking supplies, or any of my other sentimental items), my items were delivered. Nearly every single one of my 30 boxes was damaged, crushed, or set on a side it shouldn't have been. Some of my items were damaged causing me to have to repair them. One of the workers from D&F dropped my box of cups and dishes (labeled 'Fragile') onto the floor in my apartment right in front of me. The two men who delivered my items demanded I pay them $300 more than I was quoted for because there were stairs included, when I specifically informed the person who confirmed my estimate about the stairs when I booked the job in March. They also gave me two boxes of stuff that were not mine, which I luckily noticed before they left.
I have called Alliance multiple times this week asking for an update on the status of my refund and have gotten no response. This horrible customer service cost me almost $4,500, and a lot of time and energy I will never get back. And that doesn't include the money I spent on clothes, dishes, and cooking supplies to get me through 5 weeks without my belongings.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. This was the single worst customer service experience I have ever had.
Alliance Moving & Storage were great!
They were recommended by a friend, and I would recommend them to anyone. My crew of Mike, Carl, and Paul were fantastic. They were on time and very efficient. They actually took less time than what I was prepared to pay for so to me it felt like I saved even more than I would have. They were great, super friendly and careful with everything. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We contacted Alliance Moving & Storage for our move based on the reviews we saw here. Our initial contact was with Ashley who visited our home and was thorough n her estimate and provided tips for packing. She was quick to answer questions as we prepared for our move. Moving day, 4 men from Alliance Moving arrived. They worked hard and took the utmost care in packing some of our larger items. True professionals. Without question, we would recommend them.
I recommend them and will also use them again
I had a very good experience with these guys Mike, Gary, and Frank from Alliance Moving & Storage who were on time. The move itself took a little longer than anticipated because they took the time to wrap my paintings individually, but I didn’t mind. They didn't rush through it and I felt comfortable that my belongings were safe and not going to get damaged. This is the first time I have used a moving service, and I happy to with that.
EXTREMELY DISGUSTED
I used this company to get my mother moved after the unexpected death of her husband from Las Vegas to California on Sept 16 2020. They directed me to another company that is absolutely the WORST. I don't believe they vet the companies that they use. It has been almost 2 months and my mother still does NOT have her belongings!!! WTAF!!! I cannot believe they put people thru this kind of bad behavior. I have emailed and called to no avail! I would never use this company ever!!! My mother is so hurt. 74 yrs old and her husband dead without her belongings! UNBELIEVEABLE
