Scam artist.
They broker the move. Our price almost doubled from the original quote. They didn't show up the day of the move after forcing us to pay deposit. The company they brokered it to was also shady. They hold your cargo hostage. After they have your stuff the price continued to escalate until delivery. At delivery they showed up two days late with stuff missing. I have called Alliance, wrote emails, and now contacting the BBB. They never call us back or return our emails. We have been trying to file an insurance claim and now we have to go to court. Do Not Use Them!

I recently moved and like many others I thought I would be able to do everything on my own. But after seeing how long it took me to pack I knew it would not be possible to load a truck by myself as friends were busy. I called Alliance Moving & Storage last minute and they came out the next day no problems at all. Moving day comes the guys were at my place ready to go.
Very impressed.
The team was prompt, professional, and very skilled. The company brings plenty of moving equipment that make the process quick and keeps your belongings from being damaged. I appreciated how strategic the team worked in order to fit everything into their truck and not leaving an open gap for anything to fall. I am very happy with my experience and happily recommend Alliance Moving & Storage to anyone!

I booked my move with Alliance Moving and Storage and was given every assurance that they would be with me “every step of the way,” in my move and that I was receiving a good quote and they would not nickel and dime me. The customer sales rep even said “I have daughters - this is what I would recommend for them.” And so I placed my trust in this company thinking that they would make the stressful experience of moving less challenging, especially in the midst of the pandemic. The reality of my experience was the exact opposite - it was emotionally and financially traumatic.
They severely underestimated the space that my goods took up so that when the company they hired for my move arrived, I was immediately notified that my cost would be significantly higher than what I was quoted, and that there were a number of added expenses (read the fine print VERY carefully - a binding estimate does not include a number of added costs that you cannot dispute when the movers arrive to pickup your goods,) and ultimately, once the new company arrived for pickup, I was forced to sign a new agreement and Alliance was basically off the hook for the rest of the move.
My goods were estimated to arrive on August 3rd and didn’t arrive until October 4th. When I attempted to get updates on my delivery date I repeatedly received conflicting information from representatives at Alliance, including being told that my goods would be loaded on a truck on a certain date and then the next day calling to confirm that they’d been loaded only to be told that they weren’t. This happened many times, and I was also told, on many occasions, that I would receive a return call with an update and never did. This is not an exaggeration - I have documented evidence of my experience both in recorded phone calls and emails.
In the end, the promise that Alliance would be with me every step of the way was a total lie. Moving is incredibly stressful during regular times, and during a pandemic it is even more stressful. I hired Alliance thinking I would be reducing the amount of turmoil I’d experience during my move, and as a result of my experience with Alliance Moving and Storage I will never trust a moving company with my belongings again. I’d rather know where my stuff is at all times and coordinate the details, truck rentals, labor, etc. myself. I would have saved a whole lot of money and turmoil.
I would not recommend using this company by any means, but if you are considering it I would definitely urge you to look them up and do thorough research:

Affordable and professional!
I recommend Alliance Moving & Storage they arrived promptly and worked efficiently and carefully loading up the house. Everything was carefully wrapped and secured in the truck. Furniture was disabled and reassembled perfectly at new location. Thomas was always very quick to reply with questions before the move and the 3 man crew made the move easy. I would not hesitate to recommend to any of my friends or family.

The guys from Alliance Moving & Storage were good. They worked hard and were efficient. They moved the furniture quickly and efficiently. I'd highly recommend. I ended up paying way less than quoted because these guys are honest.
Reliable movers!
Great moving company! Had them move me into a house out of a storage unit and they did an impressive time. The guys that I used were Anthony and Frank. I’d absolutely recommend them for any one that needs a move job.
They took upkeep of everything!
They got to the mansion on clip and got right to work hauling our 12 senses of thing and packing material the truck. and provided us with quick and efficient servicing . All our things were handled with guardianship - not a scratch on anything. They dis-assembled our seam frames and re-assembled them when we got to the household . We moved with them and they were everything that I hoped they would be. Fast , professionals and affordable. The mover were on time, finished the move earlier than estimated, so our final bill was lower than the initial citation. Everyone was friendly and really worked hard, Awesome guy !!
They are the best.
Ryan and the team were extremely professional, organized, friendly, fast, and efficient. They managed to complete a 2 bedroom move in 3 hours, with all furniture shrink-wrapped and all boxes extensively labeled. I made a few requests which they were happy to accommodate. I recommend their services and would use them again.

Having to move is stressful and these guys were respectful, and careful with our belongings. They did a fantastic job and were quick! Took less time than we anticipated. Simply the best.
Not a trustworthy company!
I called this company about 2 1/2 weeks before we moved, they offered great service until I gave my $1,155 deposit. I was advised that we had a 2 day window & would be called 24-48 hours w/ our move time. I advised the sales rep. That we had to be out of our home by 10/01/20 since we were going to settlement early in the morning, and the buyers had their walk through at 6:00 pm. I started calling the company the Monday before my move which was a Thursday, I was assured that I would receive a call as to my move window. I never received a call, I started calling, emailing and texting 2 days before my move, still no one would give me a time frame! Long story short our movers NEVER came, he called me at 9:45 pm 10/01/20 and said he was in New Jersey and had just received the information about my move 20 minutes before calling me! He said that it was late and did I want him to come, I was very upset and nervous that this was a scam to rob us as we were initially advised by our sales person that the movers will not move in the dark! This mover told me I had to have cash when he arrived ! Keep in mind we were supposed to be out of our house by 5 pm that day and he didn’t even call till 4 hours and 45 minutes later! We had to incur rent back fees, our settlement was in jeopardy of being delayed! Once you give this company you are not able to get anyone on the phone, they play games with your move, in the hopes you will cancel and go with another company, then they lie and say the movers came to your location and you refused the move, this is what they said to Me! I want my refund of $1,155! Vicki and Holly both say they are managers , they refuse to hear what you have to say, I have requested to speak with the owner of the company & get no reply’s. They have blocked our phone numbers and accused us of harassing them because we call to speak with someone in charge and to get our refund! I will be filing suit for my refund along with the emotional distress this has caused our family! This companies reps will lie and tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to give a deposit, DONT DO IT!! This is not even a moving company which I was not aware of!,, they coordinate moves with other moving companies! Please do your research, look up this company and the owner!! Also in their cancellation request, it states that you can’t post bad reviews, or file a complaint ?? Or it will delay your refund!! They obviously must have a lot of complaints to note that! They refused my refund and are lying saying the movers showed up! If they did show up why would I have had to hire a new company that my Agent had to line up so I could go to settlement!

I have been moving a lot because of my work as I am an artist and my last 4 moves were depressing. My office colleague told me to try Alliance Moving & Storage. It was amazing. People came, helped me pack my stuff and loaded the household to the truck. I had a lot of painting and paint stuff which should be taken care of. Best part was that they moved it from the truck to my new home also. It was a remarkable experience.

The main moving staff of Alliance Moving & Storage is very friendly and extremely pro too. Their supervisor was keen on their head to examine the work done on time. They answered all my queries and made me relaxed and calm as I was repeating that my stuff is expensive. They were very keen to help me in every way possible. Awesome experience.
