  1. They hustled all day in the sun!

We had a storage unit they had met us at and then another home to go to. They worked fast and never stopped! They were kind and courteous and always made sure they were putting our stuff where we wanted and just told us to let them know if we wanted it moved! Never having used a moving company before and always doing the moving ourselves, I can say this is money well spent and will recommend them to anyone!! Thanks so much guys!!

  2. I recommend them to anyone with moving needs

Absolutely outstanding work by Anthony, Frank and Cameron. They made quick work of our townhouse, drove everything to our new place, and unloaded it in the amount of time it would have taken me to get one room on the truck. Most amazing of all, nothing was damaged, and I have some very delicate and ornate wooden chests. I don't know how they do it, but I will keep coming back.

  3. Picked up our stuff 20 days ago, where is it?

We can't get any answers or any help! They picked up our stuff July 17th, it is now August 6th.

No one can tell us where our belongings are or when they will be delivered!

Customer service is very rude and offers no solutions.

It appears that they brokered our move to another company and now have washed there hands of it.

Ben was our salesperson, and told us we would have are belongings no later than the 21st. That was 16 days ago!!

    HELP!!!!

  4. This is a broker not a mover.

They take no responsibility for the other companies they hire to do the actual work. Several boxes missing and not returned (other customers' items left in truck who probably won't get their items either!). Quoted $6K for a move with all the items I told about, in addition to 80 boxes. Moving day the price jumped to $12K! Cash or Venmo only, please! Seems like a scam since it is.

  5. Nightmare move

I can't imagine a worse moving experience. Alliance contracts out to another moving company, so I imagine there can be a variety of experiences. I got an hour notice prior to the movers coming, who showed up in a rental truck. I was asked for multiple other fees that were not in my original agreement (ie $75 'elevator fee' per mover). I then heard nothing for weeks about when my stuff would be delivered. I made multiple calls to customer service and was hung up on multiple times. I finally was able to get the contact number for the actual moving company, who told me that my delivery date was going to be in 5 weeks (despite the 3-7 days after pickup I was quoted by Alliance based on the distance of my move). I was told that the month was input wrong and that it was an "honest mistake". I did not have anything I owned for several weeks and finally had my delivery about 4 weeks later. Multiple items were broken and damaged, particularly furniture. I paid >$3600 for a one bedroom apartment, so the only redeeming factor was that they charged less than other companies despite the extra fees. The experience made an already difficult move and starting a new job extremely stressful.

  6. Delivery

Do not use this broker! The worst, kept lying to me for better than two months about when my move would be delivered. I finally had to get a lawyer. When my things did finally arrived, it was damaged badly and several item were missing (our Christmas ornaments and shark vacuum to name a few) they are rude and untrustworthy. When I told them I had a lawyer, they laughed at me. Now we are sueing them. Who laughing now.

  7. Interstate move

Absolute nightmare. Company provides a fraudulent front, then will outsource your move to a third party. The third party arrived at my residence on June 2nd. They took all my possessions and I haven’t heard from them since. All efforts to retrieve my possessions have been unsuccessful. Tracking them down has been incredibly stressful and I am out $1,400 plus all my possessions. Run from this company.

  8. Taking $8,500 deposit, didn’t do ANYTHING, blocked my phone

Richard Anderson and Jonathan Steel, took an electronic check for $8,500 to do our move. In one hr, we found out about their reputation, work ethics . We canceled our entire order in less than an hr( based on their own policy, you have 24 hrs to cancel your order and get full refund). As off today, 7 months later, no money has been refunded even though their own employee left a voice message that a full refund has been mailed to us”.

I’ve never got a dollar without working hard for it. these people are stealing money from a woman with 3 kids moving single handed, from a 70 yo widow and it goes on and on. These people have no shame or conscious and no back bone. There are several active lawsuits against them including one from their own sister company in Chicago. The alliance moving and storage company in Chicago is suing the Deerfield branch for defamation. Their employees have lost their job because no one give them any business due to

the bad name and reputation created by the Deerfield branch with Richard Anderson being the GM and leader of the company. Jonathan steel, just to make an excuse to avoid answering our questions about giving us our refund, make false story and told us that he has to go and can’t talk since his daughter was dying of illness?? No shame.

  9. High prices and damages

Truck was too small for estimated items. Destroyed my 27 inch IMac ( never even wrapped it, just stuck it in the truck ) and a king size sleep number bed and soiled the second one so bad we need to get replacement pieces. The driver and his young assistant never marked the contents of any box so we had to stand at the back of the truck in 97 degree heat and open every box as it came off the truck. Emailed Customer Service and asked for a call, never a word except asking for more money. Still surveying damaged goods packed by people with not much experience. Never again !!! Will inform all my Veteran organizations of this nightmare. Worst move ever !!!!! The only truthful and hardworking person was the young man who delivered the final load. He had ethics and a conscience. Alliance is not a moving company, they are sales people who subcontract. We supposedly had a semi coming. We got a large box truck. We supposedly had 30 days storage. We had a dispatcher calling us and claiming our stuff would be stored or dumped in the driveway. We had not even closed. The driver lied about an agreed delivery date. Nothing but rudeness and threats from a dispatcher from a sub contracted moving company. No usable beds. Computer destroyed. Broken dishes. The worst moving experience ever.

  10. I’m really thankful to these movers

They was on time, well prepared, friendly and made my recent move a breeze. Their price was competitive with all other companies I looked at. The team was especially organized and helpful. They made me very comfortable with the usually uncomfortable process of moving.

  11. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Spoke to a Johnathan Steel ( who advised me he was one of their most experienced estimators at ALLIANCE and had been doing this for more than 10 years). Because of the coronavirus wave, the company gave moving estimates by virtual tour. I arranged this for March 9, 2021 and it took approx one hour. Each room was carefully viewed, each item of furniture and contents of every cupboard / closet were listed. He advised that he allowed an extra 10% over and above what he saw and on the day if there were more pieces I had an allowance of a further 7% on the total estimated cube.

Subsequently I received a Binding Moving Estimate of $16,500.00 for an estimated volume of 2329cu.ft. .

I tweaked the list of articles a couple of times with Johnathon ( as I didn't want any surprises) and wanted everything to be on the list of contents . I received an updated estimate including these items on 4/7/21.

On April 9 I booked my move to be May 13 and paid an initial deposit of $1050 to secure the price and moving date .

    On April 20 I paid a further $5000

On May 11, I received a call from Conor in Alliance dispatch. He advised that he had reviewed my details and that in his opinion not enough boxes or packing material had been ordered and that although my list of contents had not changed he suggested the need to increase the volume to 3229cuft. - A 39% INCREASE - of course the price would change and would now be $23,720.93 - 45% more than originally quoted !

I asked how could their experienced estimator have been so wrong but as I was 48 hours away from closing escrow and HAD to move from my home I had no option but to accept the new price and agree.

I spoke with ALLIANCE's GM, Mr. Richard Anderson FALCONE and agreed to pay an additional further deposit of $3,220.95 leaving an even balance of $14,500. Half of this ($7250) to be paid on collection in two days time and the balance on final delivery in Florida.

May 13, ALL TIME MOVING** of Daytona Beach FL (on behalf of ALLIANCE) arrived and requested immediate payment of $10,150.00 to start . I told the foreman that I had agreed it would be $7250. I refused to pay more . In a subsequent conversation withFALCONE he said ' he made a mistake'.

ALL TIME MOVING completed the packing the following day (May 14) but it was not until one week later on May 20 that after asking, I received a Bill of Lading for a balance of $11,450.00 due on delivery ! This new number was because I was told there was an increase in the cube ( now 3790 ), plus there were a host of other extra charges that were never mentioned AND added AFTER I had signed the BOL.

I have tried numerous times calling ALLIANCE. They either leave you on hold, do not answer or promise to call back but never do. I wanted to get some explanation as to how their experienced estimator could be so wrong and how the price could go from $16,500 to $27,920.- 70% MORE than what I was expecting.

On Monday, June 7, I spoke with FRANK in the ALLIANCE Sales Dept. and for the umpteenth time told my story and that I just wanted to speak with someone who could help. He offered to put me through to Customer Service ( they never answered) however his parting words sums up this miserable experience with an industry that has a reputation for conning the public. He said " ...you realize your original quote was ONLY an estimate - after all if we told you your move was going to cost nearly thirty thousand dollars you would have looked for someone else to do the job..." THE CLASSIC BAIT and SWITCH !!!

  12. Use them again!

They were right on time. Made sure all of the items were packed carefully and loaded and unloaded with good care. They have been very friendly throughout and made it a pleasant move for us. Will love to recommend them to my friends.

  13. Thieves

REMEMBER THEY ARE A BROKER ONLY WHO WILL STEAL, LIE AND CHEAT FOR GREED ONLY. They hired a moving company out of Dallas called " US BEST MOVERS" I'm thinking criminal mob owned in deals with each other...by what's happening to a lot of people in the last 3 months...

i posted this review just now on US Best Movers website:

    As of JULY 20:

THEY PICKED UP MY STUFF ON JUNE 22ND, they still don't know when I will get my stuff. It's been in a hot trailer in a hot parking lot in Dallas for 30 days now. 1 bedroom move no appliances, for 4200.00.....gone thru and stolen by now...we have no say or rights, they have a license to steal and break....WHAT DO WE DO??? WOULD YOU pay and sign contract for a 30 plus day delivery in summer. I'm so scared I won't see any of my life's belongings ever again...FBI needs to investigate.

So I copied Kim Lewis s review, close to mine but at least she got partial...

    Kim Lewis:

Can I give negative stars? Everything about this company is shady. Let's start with we did not hire them, a broker did (that's another issue). We paid the broker in full for the move. Apparently the broker did not properly estimate the move, budget, space, time, any of it. US Movers refused to move our brand new washer and dryer staying they didn't have space on the truck. These items were on the original quote. US movers is demanding we pay almost $1200 more than we were quoted (remember them refusing to pick up our washer/dryer?) and refusing to deliver our furniture until we pay them directly. Our contract is not with US. Customer service only calls after business hours so conveniently we can never speak with management. They do not answer their phones when we try to call back. When we ask where our belongings are we are told they don't know. Same answer for delivery time. So here we are without our belongings, no time for when they'll be delivered, out thousands of dollars, out new appliances (approx $2000). It's all very shady.

Photos added after PARTIAL delivery. At this point (I'm still unpacking) I'm missing 3 boxes and a 60" TV. The company's response to the undelivered items was "fill out a damage report and send pictures." How am I supposed to send pictures of something I don't have? Now I'm unpacking and everything is shattered. I think I have one piece of my mother's crystal left.

  14. They are great

Mike and his crew moved my one bedroom apartment for an in-town move. They were very thorough and quick, and the whole process went very smoothly. I would recommend these guys every time! Great job and thanks so much!!

  15. Criminal Operation

Title says it all; illegitimate company. They doctor contracts and lie about everything; from your salesman’s name, to the fake customer service and dispatch departments all the way to their address. It’s all fake. It’s a couple of shady characters who do two things:

They get a deposit and then disappear.Or, if you’re super unlucky they’ll send some shady characters to your house (after the guaranteed pick up date) in an attempt to gather your things and hold them hostage for more money later.

They change their name and address every few months, use burner phones, the whole 9. Even their 5-star ratings on here are fake. Look at the language they use, real people don’t talk like that.
