  1. Fantastic movers.

    Ez moving van line is of the highest quality movers I have come across thus far. I've had a horrible experience in the past and I was very weary about hiring anyone again but these guys restored my faith and trust. Thank you.

  2. Awesome!!

    I recently moved from Hagerstown, MD to Lake Victor, TX. By the way I am a widow in my approaching 80 years old, I don't have much family in order to help me, and I really didn't want to use a moving company to start. In the begging I was skeptical because of the amount of calls I received in regards to my move. I was literally inundated with calls, however this company stood out to me. Their representative Mike Adams was very persistent and professional, he sent me emails, also texted me, and left a few voice mails. However after getting to know him I became very comfortable moving forward. He really new a lot about the industry and had a lot of experience, after a few moves in the past, I was leery about contacting a mover, originally I planned to do the move myself, however I was so impressed with EZ Moving Van Lines that I decided to give them a shot.

    They did not disappoint ! The idea of moving across the country was a nerve racking experience to begin with, their sales representative Mike was very responsive to my needs even tough my dates weren't sure and to be honest I really didn't know what I needed. However he took the time to explain the entire process to me at length and didn't leave any rock unturned. I actually changes my dates a few times, and the answer was always, hold on one second ill confirm with the driver right now, and just like that my concerns were no longer concerns.

    I could honestly say this company is on top of there stuff, after booking my move the quality didn't decrease, but it increased. I quickly went through their verification process, to verify all the details of my move which took about 3 minutes in total, however somehow very thorough, everyone I spoke to on the phone was kind, helpful, and I could tell they were generally happy to help me. After Verification, about a day later I received another call from Quality Assurance to re verify my items before moving to make sure that I wouldn't receive any additional fees. They prompted me on what I should expect, what I should have with me at pickup and even called afterwards to make sure I was satisfied with the loading process.

    After verification I received another call from Customer Service to give me my pick up dates and a 3 hour time frame for pick up. I actually provided incorrect information, by accident however EZ Moving's customer service was on top of it, and quickly resolved the issue. One thing that really stood out to me was how consistent there service was, every time I called in with a big concern regarding the actual pick up they said, “OK, can you hold for a second ? I will call your driver right now to make sure.” I never had to wait days for a callback, I was able to get my issues resolved right then and there, and I did ask for a lot being that im an elderly woman, I needed specific accommodations and it was not an issue for them.

    Overall I give them 5 stars, after everything was said and done, EZ Moving Van Lines was very professional, they were persistent in following up, and I was genuinely impressed, I would recommend them to anyone in the future.

  3. Affordable and Professional.

    Price was very reasonable. Movers were professional and polite. Customer service was great always available to answer my questions. A couple of items were damaged, but luckily nothing major. All in all a pretty good experience would recommend this moving company.

  4. Moving estimates.

    My wife and I were searching for a moving company. As always I check reviews. Found some good ones and some bad. Decided to give them a call. After speaking with a representative (Nate) I found him to be extremely knowlegable in what we needed to move. The price quoted was more then fair and I will schedule my move with this company.

  5. Ez Move.

    I want to start off by saying this experience was a lot better than I thought it would be. I initially talked to a man who sounded like he knew what he was doing. My husband and I sat on the phone with him and wrote down everything we talked about. I wanted to document absolutely everything, just in case. I have read so much on people bad experiences that I refused to let something on my end be the reason why this did not go well. We starting 3 months before our closing date. After speaking to the man on the phone, the first stressful part was over. We made the decision to go with this company. The next stressful part was packing everything up. We were able to do it little by little over the next few months. I recommend this to anyone moving! Pack it yourselves if you have the means to. It saved us a lot of money. Everything was ready to go, all in boxes and I was assured by our packing job that nothing would be destroyed. The movers arrived on the second day in our window. They customer service department did call me and let me know a couple days ahead of time, which was fine. We were flexible on this end. The movers were in and out within a few hours. They were actually quite respectful. My husband bought them lunch, we were very appreciative. We signed some papers with them, we were set on going by weight, but they did give us a volume option as well. They let us know that it would take a little over a week for delivery. This gave us time to say goodbye to our family and not rush on the trip. We had things to put in our car as well. We made it there three days before the movers did. The price did go up for what we owed upon delivery. The estimate was a little bit lower than what the actual final weight was. We added quite a few more last minute, but it was worth the extra money. We did have a little mishap during delivery. One of the movers told us that there was a missing box. All of our boxes hold a lot of importance, as anyone possessions do. So you could imagine how stressful it was hearing this. Luckily, it made its way behind the the furniture, they located it when they started taking out our couches. The reassembly took a little longer than the picking up did. They did a fantastic job of being mindful of our new house and the furniture itself. So ecstatic that everything went well.

  6. No move. No Service yet charged.

    EZ Moving Van Lines company is the most irresponsible, unprofessional and disrespectful service providers I have ever dealt with. My move was scheduled with them for a window of Aug 14-16th. Yet when I had signed the contract and went over details with the agent, John Stout, I had specially mentioned the urgency to vacate the apartment by the end of the 15th. He assured me that it would be noted as a preferable date due to the move out circumstances. I received a call on the 14th to confirm a pick up on the 16th after noon. When I mentioned the 15th to the agent, she acknowledged that they had missed the little note stating so. She said they would try and accommodate me and will call back. No one got back to me until the next day, and this is after I had called a couple of times. I was promised an update by 1030am. That passed and upon calling, they still assured me that they are "working on it". At the end, they confirmed a pick up on the 16th at 8am. I managed to speak with our property manager and have her understand the situation. She was fine with it as long as I vacated by noon. The next day, no one shows up at 8am. I give them a call around 830 am, the agent states yes they are running a couple of hours late. Mind you no one had even bothered to call and inform me of this. They finally show up between 1245-1pm. The packers/movers themselves were apologetic, polite and very courteous. They asked me if I had a copy of the contract because they seemed to have misplaced mine. I had a copy of it so there was no issue there. He asks if everything needs to be packed, I confirmed yes. He has to speak to his boss (dispatch) and then hands me the phone. The "boss" explains to me that his men have no time to move and pack my small apartment because the contract states only materials for packing. I explained that was not what I had signed up for. I had discussed and signed for a full gloved service with the initial agent. He again states the same thing adding that he didn't want to lose on another two jobs just for this. I asked what is presently to be done, he suggested that making up my things myself. This was stated in the most abrupt and rude manner. He said to take it up with the company I had contracted with. He said time is being wasted and his men need to leave now. He instructed them to leave. Again, they apologized and said there was nothing they can do as they were only following orders. They said this wasn't the first time that something like this had happened. They left. I immediately got on the phone with customer service. The first thing they asked me if I had asked them to leave, I did not. I explained to her why would I do that when I am the one in need of the move. I’m the one that needs the service. She then stated that they may be able to accommodate me on the 17th but then I would have to pay more. That was out of the question as I was moving out of state and my flight was the next afternoon. From there on it was a back and forth between what was actually on the contract, the convenient disappearance of Mr. Stout and dealing with irresponsible employees over all. I had to frantically scramble for immediate arrangements for the packing and moving. I had to pay almost double since it was last minute. I got charged an extra day at the apartment that I was supposed to vacate as the next tenants move in date got pushed back.

    The same day I had called later and was told that billing will take care of the refund (since the move didn't happen and the dispatch had asked the movers to leave). Until yesterday, August 28th, which is almost two weeks, no one has had the curtsy of calling me back or following up on the refund. Yesterday they stated that customer service and billing had decided that "I had refused pick up" so they denied the refund. I asked to speak to a superior/supervisor, the agent stated that she was. Ms. Price said that currently there was nothing she could do about it since this is what they put in the system.
    How is this possible and who should be responsible? I asked about Mr. Stout again, she said he's currently unavailable and wouldn’t have been of help anyway. I stated that all I wanted is a refund (575.83$ deposit) for a service that wasn't received. She has sent back the request again and will notify me today. I unfortunately have my doubts. If not resolved, I would regretfully have to take up legal action.

    Not once was the staff apologetic (except the movers themselves) or even concerned from customer service. They were curt, slightly arrogant at times and dismissive.

    Again, the refund is all I’m asking for. I do not and will never want to deal with this company again.

    I do recommend people thoroughly researching their moving options (although I did mine) so not to fall into hands of such a company.

  7. Appreciative.

    I had to move my significant other and three small children 10 states away. You can imagine how nerve racking this is. My stipulation is the movers that came would let me help them load the truck so I could mark every box and piece of furniture loaded. I know this sounds absolutely strange,but being hands on is the only way I knew how to calm my obsessive compulsions. EZ moving Van Lines told me from the first time I talked to a friendly gentleman, that I would be paying for my move based off of the weight. This left me with many questions, naturally. Most importantly, how will I know that the weight that they tell me is accurate and just my furniture. I was able to watch them load my things on an furniture-less truck and they also let me follow them to watch it be weighed with my things on it. They worked with me and my trust issues and for that, I give them an A+. While I was helping them take all of the furniture out of my house, I damaged my door. In the long run, I should have let the professionals do it. There was not a single thing that was broken in the process of picking my furniture up.
    They arrived in Rhode Island eight days after picking my things up. They made me aware from the beginning that it could take anywhere from four to ten days. I appreciate the honesty given. I was able to take my time driving my family.
    Delivery I was much less nervous. They did a phenomenal job. The work ethic the movers had was incredible to me. I set the bar way to low, expectation wise. I wanted to let everyone know my experience with this company. I would use them again, although, I do not see myself moving for over another decade.

  8. My move.

    This moving company is one of the best I have ever dealt with. I moved from Texas to California and I'm on a very tight budget, just graduated college, and they are affordable and friendly, yet professional. I let them know that I was on a budget, and they did everything they could to make sure that the price I was quoted was the price I paid. When I moved to Florida for college, I had the absolute worst experience with my delivery. It took two months. So, I was nervous to move again. I spoke with a gentleman named Kevin and he explained everything so in depth. He stayed on the phone with me for over 3 hours explaining the process. He also gave me pointers for packing and getting things ready to go. I did a lot of research before setting it in stone.
    They came and packed up everything quickly and professionally, I received all of my items right on schedule, and there were no damages. The movers could have had a little bit more customer service skills, but that neither here nor there.
    I couldn't have asked for a better first time move experience. I definitely recommend this company to anyone planning a move.

  9. My move.

    I recently used Ez Moving Van Lines to move from Indiana to Florida. I accepted a job offer last minute and couldn't get anyone to help me move myself in four days time. I booked my move with Zack from EZ after getting several quotes from different companies. He was able to answer all my questions I had promptly.
    They had movers out there two days later, and my things were delivered within a week. Ez stayed in constant contact with me, giving me plenty of heads up before they got there to pack up, and before they came for delivery. They took apart my furniture and reassembled everything perfectly in New York. I had a few items, such as my grandfather clock, that could not be reassembled. Zack did inform me of this before I went with them. I was speaking to a different company, who I will not mention by name, who told me that they would be able to reassemble this. I was told by EZ Moving to research this and they were correct. I had a slight price increase from the quote I was originally given, I had to add more furniture last minute. Everything was out in the open from that start. Although I was already stressed from the beginning, I appreciate the honestly this company put forward. They made it easier than anticipated.

  10. My Move.

    I am extremely happy I chose Ez moving to complete my move for me. Everything was smooth from start to finish. The telephone calls and email correspondence prior to the move was timely and clearly laid out and Chris was always available to answer any questions I had about my move. This was my very first time moving across the country, and he explained the entire process to me clearly. The price I was given was low (and honest!) compared to other companies I looked into. On the day of the move, I couldn't take more than a half of a day off from work, so they showed up right at the time we had scheduled. They had all of my belongings packed up and on the truck in 2.5 hours. The movers were exceptionally fast and even helped me rewrap some delicate vases and pictures I didn't pack up properly. These gentlemen knew what they were doing, for sure!
    All and all, my move was not too shabby. Since this was mostly stress free, I would recommend this company.

  11. Moving.

    Ez Moving Van Lines was the only part of my move that was not stressful. My job relocated me at the last minute and I had to be out of my home in less then a week. Ez Moving gave me a fair honest price and was up front with me about the entire process. I hopefully will not be moving anytime soon, but if I do I know who I am calling!

  12. Long Distance Move Northern VA to The Woodlands TX.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    EZ Moving contracts their sales out to cheap storage vendors and unreliable movers. They do not have the information you need when you call. I made my order in the beginning of June it is now August and I have not received ANY of my belongings. [NAME EDIT] has fallen through every crack he could find, and sounds like he has not passed the first grade with remarks like [EDIT] hun that's jus tha way it is u know its not like its a 45 min drive get over it"

    I was lied to, scammed, and I STILL have nothing to show for it.

    The cost estimate started at $1500.. they added astronomical costs for shipping materials, not mentioned to me prior. The cost is now over $3000.

    I am paying rent $2000 a month the past two months and it has nothing in it! On top of that I have paid over $3000 for a temporary stay. This company has costed me now:

    Price to move: $3000 +
    Rent with no furniture: $2000*2= $4000
    Hotels: $3000
    Grand total: $10,000

    DO NOT EVER USE THEM! Tell all your friends.. go with the other companies and read reviews before you use them.

  13. Easy.

    I got a call from a coordinator. He spent 3 hours on the phone with me to work out a fair quote. They matched another company with a slight discount.
    I read their entire contract, which is long. I signed it. The drivers showed up the following week. They did not speak very good English, but they were careful. They let me know that I would be delivered in 7 days. I had to call in to get my weight tickets. I was under the impression they would be sent right away. I was under a lot of stress, so this wasn't the most convenient thing for me. It was sent over within an hour. The lady I spoke to was very helpful. She gave me her line and said she was the supervisor. I didn't have any issues at delivery. Pleased for the most part.

  14. Interstate move.

    I'm so glad I chose ez moving van lines. after getting several quotes from other companies they gave me the lowest quote and I didn't experience any surprises throughout my move! they were knowledgeable and patient with me through the entire process and answered any and all questions I had. my things were picked up and delivered right on time. this company took all the stress out of my move. would absolutely recommend to family and friends!1500.
