Great Service
Jake from Safeway Moving Systems was very personable, professional, and accommodating. We arranged a full packing service for the day before the move and asked for most items to be loaded the day before so that the rest could be done quickly on moving day. Everything went to plan as asked! We were very impressed. The packing and moving team were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble, and it made the whole process as stress-free as possible. Customer service must be a priority with this company. We would use them again

We contacted Safeway Moving Systems after being let down by one of the big national' removal companies. The removal companies were very busy during the lock down. So we did some research on local companies and decided to give Safeway Moving Systems a try. The Richard emailed us back promptly and phoned us to arrange a date to visit and quote, which he also did promptly. They were at our house at the decided time and managed the move efficiently. I love the help they provided. They are great. Highly recommend Safeway Moving Systems.
Long-distance Move California to Ohio
This company was great in the initial process (quoting and collecting money), but awful at giving me delivery updates. Please pay attention to the average long-distance delivery time frames for the number of miles. They have an "estimated delivery date" and a "legally allowed up to" time frame which changes to business days. I found out the company they contracted stored my stuff for three weeks before heading cross country. They delivered my items as close to the 30-business day legal obligation as possible. When my items were delivered, several boxes were crushed and re-taped and one of the larger items was lost in transit.
I contacted Safeway numerous times to fill out a claim form and it took them two weeks to email me the forms and that was only because I sat on the phone with the claims department until I received it. I am dreading the whole claims process based on my recent interactions. Do your research as it may be worth it to pay a little more money to get the service and accountability you deserve.

Safeway Moving Systems were fantastic. Our move was unfortunately delayed twice, but Joseph at Safeway Moving Systems was very responsive and flexible. On the day of the actual house move, the Safeway Moving Systems were in and out around an hour and a half for a two-bedroom, two-story flat and dismantling the bed. The team was great on the other end, putting all our boxes exactly where needed, putting the bed back together, and even moving the furniture around for us. We would use Safeway Moving Systems for removals again in the future and recommend them.
Buyer beware, poor SF, CA > Virginia
This company is the pits, I wish I’d done more research because they are not transparent but then act like their service is stellar. I should have known it would be bad when they assured me repeatedly that they’d give me 48 hours notice for the pickup, of which they give you a 3-day window, only to call me at 3:30 pm Saturday - literally the DAY BEFORE picking up my stuff. So they didn’t even give me 24-hour notice. Then, you’ll see that they rushed the pickup only to let my stuff sit in San Francisco for 4 weeks!
They contract the people who actually come and pick up your stuff. Those guys were fine for the pickup in San Francisco. But I’m honestly terrified after reading these reviews of what it’s going to be like for my delivery. Which btw is another awful part of their customer service (or lack thereof). You talk to a person at Safeway who goes over your list of items and briefly covers the process. They ask you a question about when the earliest day is that you could receive your delivery. But they fail to explain that whatever date you give them is actually 21 days AFTER when they will be delivering your stuff.
Ok so they picked my stuff up on 1/24 and I told them I’d be in my house by the 31st thinking there’s no rush and since I’m moving across the country, I’ll give it cushion. Wrong, that only has delayed the delivery even more! So here we are and now it’s February 19th. I call to find out when my stuff will be here and it’s been FOUR WEEKS since they picked it up. My stuff hasn’t even left San Francisco! I’ve been in Virginia for 4 weeks without my belongings. Their customer service agent told me today that they have until 21 days from the time you say your earliest available time to receive your delivery is to even SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY! Can you believe this pile of turd BS?
So on Monday I’m supposed to find out when I’ll get my stuff I guess? I don’t trust a word that comes out if these people’s mouths. And if they EVEN try to pull some stuff with me about living on a country road and needing to change trucks I will lose my mind on them. I will update my review following the delivery.
At this point I’m not sure how my opinion could be changed and what’s even worse is I recommended them to my manager who is also moving across the country and had issues with their quote being off by a large amount. Mine also ended up being about $2k over the initial quote. Lesson learned: sell your stuff, just get rid of it - you’ll be hating everything you own and thought you couldn’t live without if your move goes like this one and if you only need keepsakes and heirlooms I still say find something solid - doubt it’s this company.

The best choice for my relocation Dealing with Thomas was seamless & stress-less. The goods are on the way! Excellent service from start to finish. Very happy with the team and our move. The movers, especially William was very professional and fast. Great service. I could not ask for better. All as stated, and the guys were excellent. I will use this excellent service from FL to TX when needed in future. Everything was under control and price competitive. Recommended.

Jorge and his team were friendly and easy to get in touch with. The next day, moving was fast between Luis and Jack. Two guys did the job, clean and fast. Best International Moving and Relocation Company N movers were great for my relocation. The movers were lead by Jorge, the most loyal, kind, and hardworking movers. It was very smooth to move with him. He helped me in many moving processes. He made sure to deliver everything intact to my place. Love them.

Everything went very smoothly on the moving date, and all our stuff arrived in perfect condition and on time. We strongly recommend John and his company. Always happy to help, clear communication and really reasonable quality-price. Everything arrived on the scheduled date and time, no damages and calling an hour in advanced from the agreed scheduled to confirm delivery and pick up time and address. David and his team from Safeway Moving Systems cover the move both sides and the customs and I didn't hear a peep of any issues with the border so that must have gone well. He even called me to help me fill out the customs paperwork which is only like 4 pages but again- I’m a bit of a worrier.We handed over our items to Safeway Moving in IL and they were delivered to me in UT within decided time. which was again a great timeline for us. Would use Safeway Moving again, and will use the stateside movers again soon to move flats- as they were also great and quick and accommodating.

James and his team have been professional from the beginning and made it very clear want I should be expecting in regards to cost and service. Team came to today mainly to collect packed boxes so quickly and efficiently packed up all. Everything clearly audited and taken with care. The whole experience was mind blowing. I am in love with this Safeway Moving Systems company. They were there for all the things throughout. I would live to book them again. Highly recommended.

Great Service
Jake and I were extremely helpful. They were able to arrive early and got everything loaded up and unloaded as efficiently as possible - even making sure to ask me where I wanted things placed during the move. It is indeed the best move ever.
