I moved across country!!
I moved across country and used ship a car direct because after talking to Debra, I felt very comfortable. She explained every step in detail. The driver kept me informed about pickup and delivery dates and times. While it was expensive, the time and stress it saved me was worth it to me.
So happy and relieved.
Moving my elderly parents from GA to CA was very stressful and they were so worried about not having a car. Our transport arrived promptly and on time for pick up and then their car arrived 2 days later unexpectedly but with plenty of notice to arrange the delivery. So happy and relieved. Rachel was our coordinator and he was so helpful prompt and available when I called.
Beware of last minute price increases and unprofessional dispatch reps
I called because one hour before my car was to be picked up I was sent a pick up price $175 higher than the salesman quoted me for my one car 2 weeks ago at $800. The representative Amanda was nasty and rude and cursed at me and told me she was going to keep my down payment from Cash app and cancel my pickup and block my number. As I kept calling back to speak to a supervisor she continued to answer and yell at me and hang up. Definitely the worst customer service experience in my 42 years of life.
Customers are threatened and blackmailed, worst ever company
I got into a contract for moving my household and car through New Way moving, Rachel told me about all promises and gave a low price. Once I got into the contract, that's it, there is no response after that, when I contact them they said they will cancel the contract and no refunds bcoz of the excess call which unfair. And they charged me $1000 more than what I was said and delays in pickup and delivery. You are threatened if you call them and blackmailed saying they will cancel the contract and won't pick up the stuff. Worst ever experience a customer can geet.
Worst company ever- Scam, Scam
The most unprofessional rude, lying, nasty people I've ever dealt with. they tookmy deposit strung me along for 2 weeks, never picked up my vehicle and will not refund my deposit. I've called inquiring about my refund and they screamed in my ear, slam the phone up and, blocked my phone number. A terrible company with a terrible group of people.
Scammer run away
This “company” is nothing but a scam, they failed to pickup my Vehicle, gave me false information on a so called truck driver . The number they gave me belong to them and was a google phone number, which is commonly used by scammer. They refused to return my deposit. They used Apple Pay and Apple Pay advise you this company is a scam. All the good comments here and Facebook are made by fake accounts made by Debra and others who work there.
Decentful tactics
Contracted with them to move my car from Fla to Mass. They were mid priced so I figured a fair price and would not get surprises. Wrong..$100 more than their quote. They told my step mother a driver was on the way and made it seem I authorized the additional $. I was the one who signed the contract so they should not have asked her. When I called back they said it was too late to cancel, they then offered to split the difference and I agreed. Upon deliver of the vehicle I was charged the full amount. They have not done so . Car was shipped in Dec. They no longer respond to my request for refund .
Car shipping from TX to FL
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE and unfortunately I am a victim. Definitely do not use if you are a service member they will create added stress to the already stressful pcs process.
Below is want I experienced with New Way:
- a month before my pcs leave started I booked new way to ship one of my vehicles. Deposit..175 and I was told then that it would be 350 due to carrier at drop off. I was told me booking early would lock me in for that quote..LIED
- Debra, the person who booked me, was pleasant however I was never able to speak with her about none of these issues. Either no one answered the phone or I was forwarded to another lady (who had poor customer service and was irritated with me and the legitimate concerns I had).
- originally quoted me for the above amount but later told me since there weren't carriers available for my area it would 950 - 1000 due to the carrier at drop off. * all this happened a day before my leave was set to start and me driving out of tx...smh. with so little time to react I was forced to go through with the pick up of my vehicle.
-IT DIDN'T STOP THERE..upon the arrival of the carrier, he told me the car was going to arrive in florida days before I would get there. I HAD NO ONE IN FLORIDA TO RECEIVE THE CAR! the carrier said he didn't know why New Way told me the wrong day of expected drop off.
I will be giving the contract and a sworn statement of what occurred to my installation legal office. In hopes of getting them "black listed" so that no other service member has to deal with this company.
SCAM
Beware this company will rip you off. Read other reviews they are the same. Now no one will answer the phone.
Scammers
This company is very unprofessional, they steal your money without service rendered. They charge me 850.00 to pick up for me. Never picked up the truck. They said they would refund my deposit but never received it. Now they block all my numbers from calling them.
Scam
Horrible people.RUDE customer service.Total scam.Stay away from these shenanigans. They demand money via cash app or zelle which is a RED FLAG.Don't be fooled by these business
The people at New Way are easy to deal with.
Frist off all the companies are brokers that you will be dealing with and the price is just a quote on a price. And it is $200.00 for the broker fee. So for me I need a truck pick up in Collinsville IL and drop off to Assonet Ma I got a quote for $1200.00 for a enclosed trailer. The driver wanted two hundred more for that job. Now that's a one car enclose trailer just my truck and a two day delivery. So I took that deal. I did not have too do so. I could have waited to have the truck shipped along with other vehicles. For thee quoted price. For me the whole thing took three days. I would definitely use them again. Thank you Rachel and the driver Vladimir great job. Thanks again from Antonio F.
Scammers - Terrible experience.
Don't get fulled by the positive reviews.. Here is how the scam works:
1. You get a reasonably priced quote for the dates you want your automobile to be transported. ("The Bait")
2. You are asked to send in a deposit so that 'someone' can start working on your project, and due to Covit you should do that through Zelle to this phone number (954.600.0060). All the while a nice sales rep without a last name is making you feel safe about your choice. (In my case, Jacob, who disappeared, and later Rosa)
3. Once they pocket the deposit "The Switch". You receive a contract that basically tells you that the date range is relative and may change AND that the PRICE is an estimate and might change as well.
If you love being scammed and cheated this is the company to work with.
Not only they failed to find a transport vehicle within the allotted window 9/5/2020-9/9/2020, they failed to communicate that fact until 9/18/2020, while stringing me along that they were working on it but then finally told me that their original $675 quote was now $1000+.
When I asked for, at least, my deposit back, they ghosted me with the following lame excuses:
A) leave a voicemail and someone will return your call
B) there is no one to escalate your call to
C) no manager, no owner, no one responsible
Oct 5th 2020 - after numerous calls, texts, voicemails, and emails the scammers are still in hiding.
Very bad experience.
This guys will quote very low and and take money increasing at the end . They find loop holes in contract and they just eats your money . Don’t even go with them . You will lose your money and they don’t have any credibility and professionalism beware of getting cheated .
Moving my car.
Moving my car to Greenville South Carolina, from Fort Lauderdale, they were awful, charged me more to move it then quoted. Don’t ever use them.
