  1. Storage to House move.

    Simpsons were the most professional when we asked for quotes. Their quotes were in line with others but the communication with us was better. They were flexible as the date moved a couple of times due to builders issues. On the day of the move we were kept informed about the progress of our belongings. The team arrived early allowing the items to be unloaded and put in the house ahead of schedule,.

  2. House contents removal on March 24th 2017.

    Simpsons provided the best quote for removals and were prompt arriving on the day. The whole process was completed by mid afternoon.
    The negatives: removal men seemed in a great hurry and did not care for our furniture as much as we hoped. Not all the furniture could fit in the van so we had to borrow a minibus at the last minute. Our schedule included the removal men packing our wall clock but they declined because they didn't feel they had appropriate materials and were unprepared.

  3. Bad customer service and delayed delivery of items.

    We used Simpsons to transport a car from Spain to the UK. The original pick-up was badly handled. The guy turned up a day early expecting to take the car. He returned the next day to take the car but the communication between the 3rd party removal co and Simpsons is very poor. Once they had the car, and obvs payment, we had to chase daily for updates as to when the car would be delivered to the UK. One of the responses received from the customer services department was nothing short of rude. Car was finally delivered 2 weeks later (after being told 1 week), and was left with a builder, not the car owner. This is a shocking lack in care for belongings. The only person capable of any response was Ersin but I would not recommend this removal company to anyone.

  4. Basically Scammers.

    I used Simpsons recently for both sea and air shipping.

    On both items their negligence has cost me close to £3,000 in losses:

    1) Air shipping: Item arrived completed broken. When I filed a claim their insurance agents came back with a 'this is owner packed so no liability'

    2) Sea shipping: They lost one of the boxes, have no idea what happened and again claim they are not liable.

    Never ever use these guys.

  5. Simpsons Lie.

    Not pleased with the lies they told to get our business. We were told by their representative that there was a maximum wait time, but now they are claiming that we could essentially be waiting forever for our stuff as there is no "maximum wait time" Who would sign onto that?! Who is willing to wait an unknown amount of time for all of their belongings?!
    They also made false representation that they ship to the US "all the time" but now again, we are coming to discover that was another lie. Not happy, wish we had paid more to use a more honest and reliable company.

  6. Worst service. Delay my delievry and lost 6 boxes without apogizied.

    I have used them to move my 15 cubic meters items from U.K to Netherlands. They delayed my delivery 2 times. Suppose to deliver in Dec but they did not. also did not even inform me that the first delivery 15 of my boxes is still in their storage. They deliver my boxes in a hurry did not even count or match my boxes. Very unprofessional. The last time they promise to deliver my last 15 boxes and only came 9 boxes. They just said to claim insurance. This is their attidute. The worst service I ever had. They are totally unprofessional and full of lies.. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY WILL LOSS YOUR ITEMS..
    They are very RUDE AS WELL!!

  7. All went to plan.

    Simpsons turned up promptly and had everything moving like clockwork after a short tour of the house. Within 2 hours the house was clear with minimal damage - most possibly caused by my poor packing. The lorry turned up at our new house within the hour and once again had all contents unloaded into the allocated rooms within a further 2 hours - it was sometimes difficult to keep up with the staff's speed as to where certain items should be placed as some of my location stickers had fallen off during the process. I would highly recommend Simpsons and consider the cost to be great value for money. We will be moving out again within the year and will definitely use Simpsons again.

  8. Fast, Efficient, Friendly.

    The 3 guys allocated turned up exactly as stated, keen to get going. They worked incredibly fast and nothing was too much trouble for them. Before we knew it the lorry was almost full and the house practically empty. There were a number of odd shaped/sized items that probably could have been squeezed on but the guys didn't want to risk it, so ordered another small van to site. Great service all around from Gary, Roy and Alfie even when it started pouring down when unloading, they worked their socks off to get everything off of the lorry and into the new house asap. Thanks to everyone at Simpsons, we highly recommend these guys!

  9. Exceptional Service.

    Due to an unplanned delay in my buyer transferring his funds to my solicitor, we had an extremely stressful move day. The guys at Simpson's kept us sane and entertained us throughout the experience; also helping us through the legal process and dealing with our buyer. We completed five minutes prior to our solicitor going home for the evening. They come highly recommended and we will certainly recommend them to family and friends for moves both in the UK and further afield.

  10. Excellent service from start to finish.

    We have just received our goods in Perth Australia that the Simpson crew packed and shipped for us. I've got to say from the very first call to their office they were professional and understanding as we had some very expensive art work. The quote I got from them did go up but I've go to admit I did take more stuff and I was expecting to pay more as they did tell me "you pay for what you take". In short they were excellent and I would recommend to anyone.

  11. Move to Norway.

    If you are looking for a removal company,I would recommend Simpsons Removals. I was let down at the last minute by another company. I called Simpsons and they stepped up to the plate, yes more expensive than the other company, but everything was sorted quickly even the customs for Norway. I booked their part load service as I only had a small amount. Told me it would take 7-21 days arrived in 10 days. Nothing missing nothing broken. In a way it was just as well I didn't get a chance to read the reviews posted beforehand. There is always 2 sides to a story and mine was excellent start to finish.

  12. Do NOT use Simpsons Removals.

    Simpsons moved my house contents from Doncaster to France. They were not cheap and nor was the insurance policy they pushed on to me. I am 72 and had to move to slightly warmer climes for health reasons. The delivery was 2 weeks late and when the stuff was delivered and the Simpsons movers were leaving they stuck under my nose a completed form for me to sign. I wrote "unchecked" on the form because they gave me no time to check the items. They didn't check either and were desperate to leave. I was forced to sleep on the floor while I awaited delivery. When I unpacked I discovered several lost items so I made a claim. Simpsons denied they'd lost anything because I signed the form saying the delivery had taken place (2 large men stood over me while they shoved the form on to me). I then made a claim under the insurance that Simpsons broked on behalf of RSA. RSA won't pay because Simpsons say all the items arrived. I lost cutlery, a suitcase of clothes (France is cold in winter), a TV remote control (so the TV is unusable) and several other items. I live on a state pension and other small savings. Simpsons have exploited an elderly client and won't take responsibility for their negligence. Totally disgraceful. Do not use them. Many other testimonials tell other horror stories.

    Very happy with service from start to finish as we found everything was on time and in one piece the driver was polite and very helpful and put everything back together I found the whole process from start to finish stress free and easy to manage I would have no problem recommending simpsons removals and would defiantly use them again although we won't be moving again for some time.

  14. From Dartford to Sleaford.

    Most of the promises made by Barry were kept. However we did not feel that they always shared information with one another. We did feel pressured into confirming our date, within 1hour of doing so our solicitor confirmed it needed to be changed, losing us £286 insurance. The actual move went well and the teams headed by Paul were efficient. We did have a couple of breakages, but as we packed ourselves we cannot blame the removals.

  15. Simpsons Removals.

    DO NOT USE! Our mentions of the importance of pick-up and delivery dates were disregarded. Pick-up had to be delayed, due to late packaging materials. Delivery was DELAYED by a whole MONTH! No effort was made to compensate for us being without our stuff for a whole month. We were treated rudely from the head office, no efforts to appease us were made. On arrival we received broken goods and unsurprisingly - no compensation. For that price and if your stuff and dates are important to you - use somewhere else!
