  1. 1 bedroom move.

When I knew I was moving from Nashville to Philly, I submitted quotes to multiple movers. John called me and offered me a great price compared to other movers in the area. Most were north of $2500 some even well over $4000. At first I was a little intimidated by some of these reviews posted below (some had not kind things to say) but I was extremely specific about all my items size and even included pictures. John assured me that the price would not change based on the information I gave him, only if I included last minute items. My move was quoted at $1235 and it was $1300 in the end, so John was right on the money.

I booked a few weeks in advance for my move for end of September. It was a very small move, that was taken over by Ben. Ben was extremely kind and patient knowing how nervous I was - I had movers show up and carefully package up all my items and once I arrived to my new apartment they were delivered beautifully with nothing broken or missing. I highly recommend using US Express Relocation, for me they were incredibly honest and everything was better than I could have expected.

  2. Us Express is The Best!

The guys went over and beyond to move our family in a timely manner while also being super efficient! I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family!

  3. Do Not Use-price Gouger.

Two complaints over moving a sofa bed from NC to NJ.

First overcharging. Until I received delivery notification email, the price to move and deliver sofa bed was $827.41. In that email the price was increased by $150 or about 20%. When I challenged this in a phone call with the home office, I was told the increase was due to the Coronavirus increasing the mover's costs. I responded that I told the mover when booking the shipment was not time sensitive, cost was important to me, and, therefore, the sofa bed should not have been picked up if there were increased costs. Mover responding by reducing the increase to $75. Having no choice since the sofa bed was on the mover's truck in New Jersey, I agreed.

Second complaint is the substantial damage done to walls when delivering the sofa bed. Mover did not collect the additional $75 apparently because of damage it caused. My repair estimate is for $1100. Mover ultimately offered $75.

  5. Beware!! Scammers!!

BEWARE!! GOOGLE reviews are not correct, this company (US EXPRESS RELOCATION) deserves to be sued and should be stopped from running!! They are SCAMMERS!! USE CUSS WORDS!! TRAUMATIZE YOU!! I am amazed this SCAMMING BUSINESS is still running (SCAMMERS: BEN (Owner), John, ANTONY, MERRIT). Please read reviews on Facebook, Yelp, movingfeedback and other portals and DO NOT IGNORE the BAD reviews they are TRUE!! I wish I had done the same before dealing with this nightmare! DELAYED DELIVERY, NEVER RESPOND AFTER THE PAYMENT IS MADE, HANG UP ON YOU, INCREASE PAYMENT AFTER SIGNING THE DOCUMENT.

I have filed a complaint against these frauds on FTC (Federal Trade Commission) https://www.ftc.gov/ and would request everyone to do the same.

SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND PATIENCE AND RUN AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!

  6. They Get the Job Done.

I used US Express for my move from Atlanta to Durham. They were easily the least expensive of the options that I explored for my move. I found everyone that I interacted with at the company, with the exception of Ben, to be pleasant and accommodating. The contract appears to favor the company over the customer, and I was a little annoyed to have ~$200 added to the cost of my move on the day of the move. The increase in price was legally permissible, but personally annoying. I also disliked not having the option to pay via a personal check. Their options are credit card (but only for part of the cost), Zelle (but only up to $500) cash and cashier’s check. In the middle of a pandemic, I personally would’ve appreciated not having to visit a bank or the post office, but again just annoying and not unfair. Because I didn’t feel comfortable driving my stuff via a UHaul to my destination, I thought that US Express was a fine option at this price point; however, if you would feel comfortable driving a UHaul, I think that would be the better choice.

  7. Excellent Service.

I highly recommend US Express Relocation as a moving company. Ben and his staff offered excellent service for moving from Georgia to Connecticut.

  8. Efficient.

From the initial contact to post move, US Express Relocation assisted me with all the details for a long distance move. Merrit and the crew of movers were efficient and well organized. They quickly packed items and provided great service. They are professionals and more than that, they treated me like family.

    I can't thank Ben enough.

  9. Quick 400 mile move.

These guys were very good, arrived on time at our home in Georgia, loaded their truck, and except for forgetting 4 or 5 boxes which I blame myself for not doing a careful room by room check? hit the road for North Carolina in less than 5 hours. They arrived at our new home at 10am the next morning, carried my things in, assembled beds and were done in 3 hours. Easy Peasy, at a good price too. Everything good, nothing broken, only missing items were the ones I should have accounted for. Job well done!

  10. Beware.

**BEWARE LONG BUT DETAILED RANT** I would read before paying your 200$ deposit

This company is a CON STRAIGHT TRASH! I spoke with [NAME EDIT] & he told me my move would be 1200$ plus tax. I was moving from a different state & my apartment wasn’t going to be ready for 2 months. So I called & told them. Checked on storage rates in my area roughly 60-75$ I called spoke to [NAME EDIT] again & he was so “understanding” & said there storage was free for 30 days, 100$ per month PLUS they would still move my items. So hey I said that’s a good deal! Don’t have to rent a truck find someone to help! Well moving day they was 3 HOURS LATE! Then an EXTRA 200$ in fees [NAME EDIT] FAILED to mention. Shame on me I should’ve read the contract FULLY! Left about 8pm @ night! After the first 30 days that’s when I met [EDIT] [NAME EDIT]! He is the worst, once they get your items they DO NOT CARE how they speak to you. He is degrading towards woman & will speak to you any kind of way! Once spoken to been I found out the storage was actually 225$ an EXTRA 125$ when I could have got a storage unit for 60-75 monthly. First month of paying he stated he would “honor” my 100$ price BUT had to add prorated charges for 3 days totaling 75$ sounds bogus right? Next month comes it doesn’t settle with me that I have to pay 225$ I call back & speak to my buddy [NAME EDIT] & says “yes it’s 100$ let me call & tell Ben” next day Ben calls & says “idc what John told you tell John to pay the difference if not pay or I throw your stuff out” Oh he LOVES throwing that around about how he wants to THROW OUT your belongings if you challenge what he says. Moving DAY! Extremely happy to finally get away from this crooked ass company. Guy comes to drop off my stuff, give him the remaining payment & he says it’s a extra 75$ for steps. I said yes the contract says 12 you guys will really charge me for 2 extra steps? After the guy being such a COMPLETE RUDE [EDIT] he decides to ATTEMPT to shove his long [EDIT] big [EDIT] finger IN MY FACE! Thank god for quick reflexes. At this moment I’m calling the police because I feel UNSAFE with 2 BIG MEN & me. He gets upset that I called the police and SETS my stuff outside on the ground! Long rant. But this company is [EDIT} NASTY RUDE AND EXPENSIVE! Rant over.

  11. Efficient, well priced.

Moved from NC to GA. Managed to fit a lot of extra items that we hadn't accounted for in our estimate. Guys were very nice and took great care of our items!

  12. Horrible BEWARE.

Just as the last reviewer Phillip Derby wrote I was given a quote of $1075 for my move. When the team got there (6 hours later than Ben the owner said they would be there) they began packing my stuff and told me I would owe an additional $300 because my stuff required another 100cf. I told them that there was no more in my shipment than what I identified and to John. They acknowledged that I did not have more than what was on the inventory list and that it was because my furniture was "bulky". In attempting to negotiate with me one of the employees said he was just trying to accommodate me and make money at the same time. I told him that I find it awfully strange that John originally quoted me $1300 and I turned it down immediately as I had 2 other options that were less. John then says to me that he wanted to get his guys work and he would work with me. He sent me a binding quote of $1075. Now I understand it is just a quote but I find it strange that when the men loaded my stuff it somehow jumped to the original price I rejected. John took my credit card and charged a $300 deposit and told me I would owe $385 when they picked it up and then the remaining $385 when they dropped it off to me. When the gentleman went to take the $385 payment that was due they then told me there would be a 5% charge because I was using a credit card. I told them AT NO TIME DID JOHN TELL ME THAT. He indicated that I could pay with Credit Card, Debit Card or Cash. AT NO POINT DID HE SAY THERE WAS A 5% charge for a Credit or Debit Card. John acknowledged that he did not mention that but told me that it was on the document that I electronically signed. Now I went through my emails and I did not have a copy of that agreement. All that I had was the binding quote that DID NOT notate that 5% anywhere. I then asked John why I wasn't charged the 5% on the deposit and he said to me that the 5% isn't charged on the deposit. Which made no sense to me because it was literally the same credit card they were going to charge the $385 on. I was then told, by the Employee packing my things, that my delivery would be today, Monday April 27th by 9AM. They mentioned they were going to Ocala and would deliver my things first. Fast forward to today AND NOTHING. NO DELIVERY AT 9AM nor was I notified that it would not come today. I got a call at 9:11AM from the Employee that told me it would be delivered today at 9AM and he asked for someone named Jennifer..MY NAME IS NOT JENNIFER. I then get an email from the Owner Ben asking for me to sign something saying that I owe $624 dollars. I told Ben my Balance was not $624 but $589.75 to which he responded the $34.25 was the 5% for the credit card use. I told him I was not using my credit or debit card for the final payment. He stopped responding. I called the office and was told that the 5% was for the credit card use. I then explained that 5% of $385 was $19 which I would be willing to pay to which the rep responded the $34.25 was for the $685 I had paid already. I told her JOHN, THE OTHER OWNER, SPECIFICALLY SAID TO ME THAT THEY DON'T CHARGE THE 5% ON THE DEPOSIT. She tried to say it was in the document I e-signed. I said well he took my payment before I e-signed anything and VERBALLY TOLD ME THE CHARGE WOULD NOT APPLY. I still have not been contacted about my shipment. She told me the person who said I would get it today didn't have the authority to tell me that because he does not schedule deliveries. To make things worse I SPECIFICALLY told them that each employee HAD to wear a mask as both my son and I have compromised immune systems and they showed up with NO PPE WHATSOEVER. Now they are holding my things hostage. I have begun the process of filing a formal complaint and will have my lawyer contact them to begin filing a formal lawsuit if this is not resolved within 24 hours. This is literally THE WORST moving company I have ever worked with. And to take advantage of people in the midst of a pandemic is simply disgusting!!

  13. Bad company.

I had a fixed cost with John. They picked up load and price for 18 CFT jumps 191.00

I paid the extra and then my son received load. Item was broken and missing items.

    Bad Bad Bad.

  14. Successful move!

Worked with John in GA. Moved apt from Nashville to NJ. My timeline shifted and John was great to work with. Moved on Sun-delivered on Thu (they got there Wed late afternoon and offered then, but were cool when I couldn't support that). Furniture wrapped great, no damage. Crew was professional. If you're reasonable and communicate, John is prompt to respond and will get the job done well. Go Dores!

  15. Truly an above and beyond team.

Moved from Phoenix, Arizona to Atlanta,Ga

We had spoken and researched the ones we considered..but this was a big decision for us and what we aere reading didn't at all describe them at all..nearly all but demanded we sign on now (one time offer type) or quote would be more. We were moving to take cal of my husband mother and this is what they do? Then I get a call from John and after speaking to him I knew we had found the needle in the haystack of movers. He didn't pressure me and listening to our situation actually saved us almost $900..he even gave me his personal number in case I had any questions. During the actual move Ben kept us up to date the whole way..came on the day promised..and the 3 gentleman who unloaded the truck were very professional. when everything finished and I was told my balance..it was even LOWER. they adjusted for the items I didn't bring after all. John, Ben and his team have been a blessing in our lives and made a tough time bearable..Thank You US Express!
